They buffet closes at 11am which is separate from the cafe. They have 2 options, a buffet for $25 or the option to order from a menu. We chose the menu because the buffet didn't really look too pleasing. The food came out hot and was actually decent but I just wish they had a little bit more seasoning on it. The waitress was very polite and gave us a great service.

Coral Cafe is located inside of Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon. I'm not quite sure when it closes, but I know that it opens at 6:30 AM. They have an à la carte option or a buffet option. I believe for the buffet, you'd have to pay $25 per person. My boyfriend and I decided to just go with à la carte. It was a cheaper, and honesty, we wouldn't have eaten too much. When we were seated, we got the menus and ordered our food. No complaints really. Good food. Nice workers. I especially was a big fan of their oatmeal! If you're trying to be more healthy (which I was), get the oatmeal. Apparently, eating oats for breakfast is really beneficial for you. :) I recommend eating here if you're trying to be more efficient with your time throughout the day.

Checking out the hotel we decided to have lunch before heading to the airport. We took our luggage with us and was seated. Me and my husband had the blue lagoon burger, I added bacon and avocado and ate it like a lettuce wrap. My son decided on the grilled hotdog. Our meal together costed us $46 dollars. The burger was good I must say.

Located inside the Miami Hilton across from the airport caters to conventioneers and one nighters It's old-school like the hotel but everybody was friendly and our server did a good job It is pricey but it is Miami and it is convenient if you're staying in the hotel. The café has a open business type feel... Like you meet your coworkers for breakfast. Where next-door is the hotel bar that looks hip does have limited food and has a good vibe! The place you're going to get good food and good service is going to be a little pricey!

Located inside the Hilton Miami Airport I had the opportunity to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner there during my stay. Breakfast - I ordered Buffet style breakfast and was typical of what you would expect in a restaurant including an omellete bar. $22 was a bit pricey for what you get - you may be better off ordering from the menu. Lunch - I ordered the Mojo Chicken breast which was inspired by the local Cuban food. I found the chicken was over-cooked, the plantains were not memorable and the service during the lunch rush was horrible. Our waiter left on break without telling us and we had to ask for our food...then ask a 3rd waiter for the check. Dinner - I love to have a good cheeseburger and I have to admit that this restaurant did not disappoint with the Steak Burger. Very well prepared, seasoned and fresh produce. Overall a little disappointing when factoring in the prices they charge considering there are many options in the local community.

Civiche was really good. Fish was tough at times but a great taste. The fish tacos are really amazing.

We were so lucky to sit at the counter and watch the kitchen in action. Chef's Tasting was out of this world, and our favorites still hit the spot (maybe even more?) with the Caesar salad and milk bread. I'd die happy if this was my last meal. Chef Pedro and Chef Katherine really make it the most welcoming atmosphere, the place is just a cozy & cool vibe, complete with a dash of fun at the end of the dinner. Service was friendly and knowledgeable with each dish and suggested drink pairings. We vow to return hopefully every season when the menu changes accordingly. Forever and always recommend :)

I finally took advantage of Taste of the Gables to check out Kojin…read more My sister and I arrived a little before 9 p.m. and waited to be seated. The dining room is charming but small, the tables are tiny and packed very close together. I also wasn't a huge fan of the lighting, though I loved the minimalist, Asian-inspired floral centerpieces. They were out of the Albariño, so I asked our server to recommend something similar. He suggested a Riesling, but it just wasn't for me, so I switched to sake instead. In hindsight, I really wish he had mentioned it was $35 a glass. That was a pretty unpleasant surprise when the check arrived. Anyways, my sister & I decided to share a bunch of different dishes. To start, I ordered the Summer Salad and my sister got the Milk Bread. The salad was phenomenal, bright, fresh, and full of interesting flavors. The stracciatella added this creamy, comforting richness that tied everything together. The milk bread with miso butter? Absolutely insane. Easily one of the best bites of the night. We also ordered the Crudo à la carte. The presentation was beautiful, with flavored shaved ice keeping the fish chilled, but unfortunately the fish itself tasted overly fishy. We only had a bite or two before telling our server. His response was basically a shrug. No concern, no follow-up, no offer to replace it. For our mains, my sister ordered the Wagyu Striploin, which she really enjoyed. I went with the Maitake Donburi, and this was probably my biggest disappointment of the evening. I was expecting bold flavors, smoky mushrooms, and some contrast in texture. Instead, everything leaned overwhelmingly sweet. The mushrooms had no char, the rice itself tasted sweet, the egg was runny, and the entire bowl was covered in an almost sickly sweet sauce. It felt one-dimensional, and I ended up taking 2 bites before leaving most of it behind. Again, our server noticed and didn't ask if anything was wrong or if there was something else I'd prefer. It felt very much like, "Oh well." For dessert, we shared the Carrot Cake and the Chocolate Tart. Both were good, but neither really wowed me. My sister loved the chocolate tart, while I thought it was just ok. Overall, Kojin wasn't quite the experience I was expecting. The service felt surprisingly indifferent, especially when two dishes were sent back almost untouched. That said, the Summer Salad and Milk Bread were so creative and genuinely delicious that they're reason enough for me to give Kojin another shot. Next time, though, I'll be ordering very differently.

The ambiance is beautiful, dark, and romantic, with the perfect mood. Even with a World Cup soccer game on, it never felt loud or overwhelming. Our server, Dragen, was outstanding... attentive, friendly, and genuinely cool. He even brought us some sweet bread bites on the house, which was a nice touch. --Unfortunately, the food was the weak point. We started with the pulled burrata, which felt experimental but nothing special. --The famous carbonara was decent and came with a fun tableside show mixing the egg yolk, but it was a bit salty and more creamier that a traditional carbonara, not my favorite. --The slow-cooked short rib was a real disappointment: overly salty, dry, with strange flavors and a tasteless side. I could barely finish half of it and had to use the pasta to make it edible. Overall, the service and atmosphere were excellent, but the food fell well below average for the hype this place has. For that reason, I probably wouldn't return.

Turned out to be a good call. While I was woefully overdressed ( t shirt and shirts as I just came off a transcontinental flight) for such a fancy bar in Coral Gables on. Friday night, staff was polite and welcoming. Was treated with respect and courtesy despite looking very WT. Traveling with food allergies is a challenge. The Kitchen was extremely accommodating and was able to modify my food to my allergies and preferences. I ordered the Chocolate Carajillo. Probably not the smartest thing to order a drink with two shots os Espresso at 10:40p but it soup def to tasty and it was! Plus the little chocolate that came with it!! Yum! If they sold those bars... I got the watermelon salad minus a bunch for f stuff: basically just watermelon, cucumber and feta. Thick clucks of cucumber, tasty watermelon chunks and hunks of feta. Yes, please! For protein I went with the double cheeseburger minus the bun and mayo and without the side order of fries = gluten free. They have a GF bun but I rarely eat a bun. It was a double pressed patty that was freshly made not cooked earlier and rewarded, so hit that the cheese was melting. Always a good sign. Delicious! Great service from Crystal and Ashley - my water glass was constantly filled without me having to ask. 18% gratuity automatically added to bill. Seems to be standard for all Coral Gables and Mismibhoteks (some add 20%). Had breakfast here. Different servers and hostess as well as different vibe and service despite an empty restaurant. Had I not eaten here last night my review would be a 3 based breakfast service. I had to get someone and ask for my water glass to be refilled. There are limited gluten free options but they do have GF bread do was able to have the croissant sandwich but with gf bread. I'd get this again. I also got the Greek Yogurt. Tasty but you need honey and it's a big portion so easily shareable. It was a lot of good for you be person do I didn't order anything else. I also understand that getting one of the last tables about 40 minutes before closing isn't always ideal, but it's still part of the job, and we never felt like we were asking for anything unreasonable. We were a party of four adults and a toddler. Daniel introduced himself and immediately asked if we were ready to order. We ordered a glass of wine, waters, an appetizer, and our toddler's meal, and let him know we'd be ready to order the rest in just a moment. About two minutes later he came back for our entrée order, so we placed it. One thing that stood out right away was that our daughter was never offered anything to drink. I ended up giving her my own water because no one ever asked if she wanted a beverage. The food was absolutely amazing, and the kitchen deserves a lot of credit. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out overcooked. Normally, that wouldn't have been a huge issue if our server had checked back on us, but Daniel never came to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. Later, my husband ordered a glass of wine because he didn't want me drinking alone. The wine never arrived, and we never received any explanation or apology. We chose not to ask for it again because it was already difficult to get our server's attention. Instead, he seemed more interested in talking with another server than checking on our table. We've been staying at this location for two nights and have had both dinner and breakfast here, and every other experience has been excellent. That's why this visit stood out so much. One final point: our check included an automatic gratuity. I completely understand and support automatic gratuities when appropriate, but they shouldn't mean the level of service drops. Great service should still be the standard, and unfortunately, that wasn't our experience with Daniel. The food was fantastic, but the service left us disappointed. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because the restaurant and its kitchen are excellent, and with better service, the experience would have been outstanding.

It's colorful, well lit, and inviting. The wine list also has excellent options and the waitress isn't trying to force you into the most expensive items. The wait staff are cordial and helpful and the Chef is humble and sweet in his explanation of the dishes. For wine, we got the bottle of tempranillo and it was delicious. We started with the focaccia and ricotta and honey. Honestly, it was the best honey I have ever tasted. They even told me where to buy it on my own if interested. Everything is freshly sourced from local farms and it shows. We also had the steak tartare that came with the blueberry capers. Those were a little weird for me but my friend loved them. We also had those delicious scallops that I believe were poached in wagyu fat. I don't even like scallops normally but they were exquisitely prepared. For entrees we had the boniato pasta and the cod. Both were deliciously prepared and I will definitely order again. But that boniato pasta that was sort of like a tortellini filled with boniato and topped with like a foam of citrus flavors- was easily one of the best pastas I have ever eaten in my life. The dish is creative yet light but absolutely delicious. This dish belongs on the show "best thing I ever ate". For dessert, we tried the lemon dessert that was light and airy and not overly bitter or citrusy. We also got the brownie dessert that was one of the most delicious desserts I have ever tasted.
