My own birthday was celebrated there on karaoke night, and it was one of the most amazing and unforgettable nights. We also celebrated my niece's graduation on karaoke night, and it was another incredible evening filled with friends, family, laughter, and great memories. Seeing an employee post something so negative about an event that so many of us genuinely enjoy is disappointing. From the outside looking in, it seems like there's been a big shift in whoever is running these events. I recently attended both karaoke night and ladies' night, and the atmosphere was completely different from what many of us have come to love. FYI, karaoke night *brings people together*. I can't think of a single time we've gone and not had a great night. That's why this post doesn't reflect what 9 Feet Under has always represented to so many of us. If you work there and karaoke night is that terrible *for you*, maybe it's worth asking yourself why that is. Or perhaps this isn't the right environment for you. But please don't portray an event that has created so many positive memories for so many people as something negative, because that's simply not the experience the rest of us have had. The sofa are old and tired looking. The bathroom looks like it's straight from the 70s. No shower. It's also a long walk + train ride from the D terminal. During our recent visit, it looked fresh and modern, consistent with other relatively recently updated Sky Clubs around the country. This is the only Sky Club in MIA. It's located in the H-J Connector in the South Terminal. Delta mainly operates out of the H gates in Concourse H. From the boarding area, you have to take an elevator or stairs up to Level 4 to enter the Sky Club. Foodwise, I enjoyed the mojo pork, and black beans and rice, as well as a quinoa wrap and warm chocolate chip cookies. Everything was delicious. I liked the touches of Latin cuisine since this is Miami. At the bar, the Bloody Marys were terrific. Overall, the lounge was spacious and seating was comfortable, and service was great (hostess, food staff, bartender).
