I called Coqui to repair a side by side refrigerator that I brought from them almost 15 years ago. I paid the $50 for him to just look at it and tell me it'll cost $200 to replace a valve and add freon. So I decided the next day to go ahead and have him repair it. He comes back and uses a blow torch to burn some dust and cat hair from the back and bottom of the fridge instead of asking me to use the vacuum. He did the repair but I had to call them back because it's still warm. He checked and argued that it's cold, meanwhile food is getting spoiled. He said to get a thermometer and it should read 40° or lower and call him back tomorrow. I did, temperature reads at 54°. We're having upset stomachs because of this. And they won't pick up my calls. I want a refund. I ordered a new refrigerator from Home Depot that should be delivered in a few days. I don't recommend this place, they've become incompetent, rude and money hungry read more

Disorganized and dishonest. Unable to keep track of scheduled appointment times and days. Promises of applying the initial visit $30 "repair/replace" estimate to a refurbished unit disappear once they show up with the refurbished unit. The only explanation I was given is "Coqui says no. Coqui says no," even though I specifically asked several times before proceeding whether the $30 repair/replace estimate would be applied to a refurbished unit if we chose not to have the appliance repaired and purchase a refurbished unit from them instead. As a landlord agent, I have never dealt with business as unprofessionally run as this one. Keeping my fingers crossed that the unit they delivered and installed performs better than the people who run this establishment. read more

Terrible Service from organization. Order was placed for a new stove, contacted to inquire what was going on as delivery had been halted for second time. Spoke to receptionist she had trouble locating my order, so i requested to speak to a manager. Manager heard me out and his reply was that it was not his job and that i should blame my landlord for them halting the delivery, he then decided to hang up on me. I called back where he started screaming at the phone stating "thats not my problem i dont care" in spanish. I asked the receptionist if i could have the spelling of their name and address so that i may leave a review, and she hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional and only focused on their bottom line, i had no compassion, no apology, nothing but getting screamed at and hung up on. if youre looking for quality service im pretty sure you can get more from a chain business where their employees are held accountable for their actions. I ordered a refrigerator from Sears that was too big to fit through my door. I decided to just have mine repaired. I called Coqui the same day of my Sears fiasco and they came the same day. They couldn't fix my refrigerator as it was beyond repair. However, they offered me an almost new refrigerator similar to the one I have for $150 and didn't charge me for the service call. I had the refrigerator in an hour. I would definitely recommend them and they're actually very well known. read more

Horrible! My father-in-law called this place 2-3 weeks ago for my oven. They kept saying they would come and they never came. Finally, today, after being called several times, he comes at almost 5 pm when I was trying to make something quick for my kids to eat, the guy arrives and then gets figetty because I'm making something. He then claims he would come tomorrow and I told him just wait a few minutes. He then tell me that he will be outside waiting and after the 5 minutes we go out to get him and he isn't anywhere to be found. I called the manager Luis, and he actually defended this. I got very upset and told him, I've waited 3 weeks and you can't wait five minutes. That's not even the best part, I called them earlier that day and I believe the guy told me that if some person wanted the job done to do it himself. This place is very unprofessional and I am dissatisfied with their service. Who waits 2 weeks and then expects people to cook the day before thanksgiving??? read more
