This place is a clear winner. We went for lunch here after enjoying a day out with Thomas at the Snoqualmie Train Depot. Our toddler was worn out and starving but didn't want to leave Thomas. In comes to the rescue with Thomas coloring sheets and crayons - Copperstone! Amazing service with a smile, even though we had enough stuff on us to look like we're camping. Great salad and pizza. And ice-cream to finish off the afternoon. This will be our go-to place for all future Thomas outings! read more

Had lunch there with my 1.5 year old baby. Yummy yummy soup we both loved it. It was the soup of the day- some chowder soup with lobster broth. Then I had the special meal too- shrimp and scallop risotto. Yum as well! My little one was given Thomas the train coloring page and some crayons. Stopped by here before taking the train ride. Just right across from the snoqualmie depot station. And there's lots of local stores around to spend some time. This is a huge rave for Copperstone...last night we had reservations for 30 (whole family in town for the holiday) they were gracious, accommodating and even let us bring in our own cake to celebrate nieces 16th birthday. Food was delicious! Had the cheese ravioli, hubby had the chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was so good! Beautiful little place on the Main Street in old town Snoqualmie, easy parking out front and area was still decorated for the holidays out front. We wanted so badly to like this place but the food is just really really really bad. We ordered 4 different entrees and none of us were impressed. Pasta was dry, sauce was non-traditional Italian and very bland. Service was ok. The waitress was nice but didn't know the menu very well and was pretty slow. The soda machine wasn't working, which she knew about, but still served us the flat soda (and charged us for them...) All in all, just eh. The interior is more than average. It is a quiet place. The staff is really nice and polite. I liked their service. The Gyro was good, but nothing extraordinary. The same goes for eggplants. This is a small restaurant with really fresh and tasty food! We had the pesto eggplant sandwich and Ramona basil soup. All of it was flavorful and different than what other Italian places have to offer. Ambience was also cozy with the wait staff who was very pleasant. read more

Service is really substandard: 1 person received food almost after everyone finished food; asked for our drink 2x - never came; owner said would comps drink, told waiter and still was charged; sent bill back; had to remind waiter about my bill and waited 20 minutes to get corrected bill; never had water refilled; never asked if we need anything. Tried to come here for dinner with our kids (supposedly family friendly) - Several tables open (reservations, apparently), and 1 couple waiting. Host tells us that "he's not going to be able to get us in tonight" - Not that it's a 30/45/60 min wait, just that we're not eating there tonight. We won't be back to give it a try. read more

This restaurant sits in the old town area of Snoqualmie, across from the train station. Its a perfect location for those that have come for the trains and Snoqualmie Falls. And it's truly a family friendly eatery, which also means, that the prices are more than reasonable. My husband ordered the Country Special sandwich, piled high with ham, zesty pepperoni and fresh salami. The tomato, mozzarella and dressing also added a wonderful layer of flavor. And that they used a high quality bread that had great texture and flavor made this sandwich very special. For myself, I ordered the Chicken Marsala. It was a sizeable chicken breast in Gorgonzola sauce that had a rich and creamy flavor, sautéed with mushrooms, Parmesan & Marsala wine, served atop a bed of linguine. I truly enjoyed every bite. Will be returning to this restaurant soon (I'm a local and that's a promise!). read more

My husband and I went to the falls, then the train museum and I asked one of the workers at the museum for lunch recommendations. She mentioned this restaurant so we went. We could have sat outdoors on the sidewalk but hubby wanted quieter so we went inside. It was a quaint, clean, inviting albeit dim inside. There was one sweet server Tammy that was just wonderful. The place had 3 or 4 other families in it at the time but we were seated quickly and at a comfortable booth. He ordered an antipasto salad $14 and I got baked ziti. I have to say neither of us was disappointed. Ziti came out hot and had a nice crusty cheesy top. The sauce was delicious. It came with a triangle of garlic toast. He ate his very quickly so it must have been good. We finished off sharing a spumoni ice cream (5 ) sm scoops in a big glass with a stem. It was plenty for two. ($6) All in all a great way to celebrate 41 years of marriage. By the way Tammy was great! read more

When we walked into the establishment no one greeted us or even acknowledged us. We wandered around the place looking for a waiter. It wasnt very busy. Finally after several minutes we got a seat. To be fair the food itself was quite good. That being said the waiter never came by to ask how we were doing. To get another drink i had to flag them down. Then randomly they rudely acted like we needed to go by just taking my food and putting it in a container. I wasn't even finished and we hadnt recieved a check. Definitely wont be back. This place has amazing food and a great family atmosphere. We enjoyed the great service and the owner of the restaurant coming by to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. Truly a great find! I love finding little nuggets of authentic food outside the major cities. Ordered the tomato basil soup (then immediately ordered a 2nd bowl), the bruschetta was great and fettuccine carbonara was spot on. Don't expect the heavy sauces and thick fatty (although yummy) Alfredo you get in Americanized Italian food. This was light and fresh and the best Italian food I have had in recent memory. read more

I had the baked ziti, but was really eyeballing a chicken parm sandwich. The ziti was good, didn't blow my mind, but really delivered a tasty warm meal that was comfortable. My kids had the penne with meatballs, one only ate the penne one only ate the meatball. Could have saved buy only ordering one meal, huh? We've dined here a number of times, but yesterday we got take-out. The usually good meatball sandwiches had, at most, two meatballs sliced on the entire sandwich. The bacon stuffed mushrooms were merely button mushrooms with bacon and cheese dribbled on top. There was also no one greeting patrons when they arrived. While the server was new, that does not excuse the restaurant from adequately staffing the place for dinner. Why do you have a new employee seating people and serving the entire restaurant? I had to ensure one customer that there were actually people working. For one entree, a couple of sandwiches, and an appetizer at $70 (including a nice tip for takeout), we will likely not return.
