In addition they helped with the installation of a Moen Flo Smart Water Shutoff in my home. It was built in 2007 using Kitec plastic piping, which has a history of rupturing at connections. They did a great job, showed up when they said they would, and did a great job of explaining the whole process. In this new world where private equity companies are buying up local plumbing/AC/electrical services companies and squeezing us with higher prices and low quality service by inexperienced (cheap) workers, it's nice to know and use small, family-owned businesses like Flint Plumbing. I highly recommend them.

This is the best experience we've ever had with any plumbing company, and any company overall. The gentlemen who came to my house were on time, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and not only fixed the issue we thought we had, but found underlying issues that would've caused greater damage to our pipes in the future and fixed them. And all at an extremely fair price. I would recommend them to anyone and will never use another plumbing company. In this day and age it is hard to find reliable service anywhere and it is so refreshing and mind-easing to know companies like Flint Plumbing still exist and are there to offer amazing service to their customers. Thank you!!!

The estimate was $8k-$22k depending on trenching. While I'm sure Blanco Plumbing does quality work, the visual topical inspection was brief and the cost surprised me, so I decided to get a second opinion. Another licensed plumber performed a more detailed diagnostic and repaired the issue for $3k. I'm sharing this to help other homeowners: when dealing with water line issues -- especially when large replacement costs are suggested -- it's worth getting multiple evaluations and asking for a full diagnostic before committing to a major project.

The reason I'm holding garden house plumbing company accountable is because they should, prior to the foundation work, check to see if they have what is needed for the hydrostatic plumbing test and quote how much it will cost if there is will a cost. With that making the home owner aware of how much to expect to pay and giving the opportunity to choose to continue with the foundation work or choose another contractor. When there is a condition to the test and that this condition voids the warranty the lack of transparency is a total disregard and disrespect with the consumer. Marco Munoz did a great job explaining but only provided this explanation of the hydrostatic plumbing test per my request after the foundation work was done and I found out I'd get no warranty for it. This should have been provided along with the contract since Douglas Foundation assigns then to do the testing. If they are a reputable company and respect their customers I hope they will stop doing business in partnership with crooked, dishonest Douglas Foundation repair.
