The gas powered leaf blower drowned out all giggles and drove people back in their house. When asked to stop and why he would do that, he said he was just doing his job and several times managed to drop cuss words in front of children. Impolite and inconsiderate. Plus one star since he actually moved leaves, despite the fact several were blown into my in-laws yard.

The first time was to clean up a huge Maple tree stuck between a fence, deck, and shed. They were patient and took their time to ensure nothing surrounding the tree was damaged. They are competitively priced compared to what we have seen from other services used throughout our neighborhood. Royal tree is the best value for the money.

Great service and he often gives quick tips on upcoming yard maintenance you'll need (I.e that tree is dying , or, did you know that's a fruit tree)... Pro tip: call in advanced , especially around wintertime. Set a reminder in your phone to get your sprinklers done in Early October to avoid the crazy winter rush associated with first snow. Pro tip: Be sure to call back the day off to confirm with his staff that you're on the schedule. While Prince and company has gotten more streamlined over the years, I believe it's a family run business which is sometimes prone to scheduling errors. Just like any other home-service business they'll give you a window for when they arrive.

The things were diseased, dead in fact. They needed to come down, and I knew it was going to cost me a pretty penny, so I did what I'm sure most of you do as well...I called over a dozen of the people here in Denver via Yelp who do this kind of work. It was important for me to get a decent price on the work. Not that I'd simply go with whomever came in the lowest, I did want to make sure they were reputable as well...well, of the dozen folks who came out, they were the only ones who actually talked with me, and I could tell immediately that they were people with integrity. That their bid was significantly lower than just about everyone elses didn't hurt too much either! The job ended up taking two days, and it turned out that one of the trees was much more complicated in how it had to come down, so much so that I was expecting them to ask for more money once the job was done, as the whole thing was originally scheduled for one day. But that wasn't the case at all. They totally honored their bid and didn't even mention the extra work the job entailed. That one of the owners is the guy who actually goes up into the tree to supervise most of the work shows just how dedicated of a team they are. & he really knows his stuff! They not only remove trees but will also work with you on planting and feeding new ones. A lot of my neighbors are already asking for their contact info, so know that these guys are pretty wonderful. And hey, they even left me a bunch of stumps that they cut to special sizes for me to use as outdoor furniture!

I left a message on Tuesday morning saying I was ready to make a decision, and they would need to get me the promised quote that day if they wanted to be considered for the job. Front office called later that day, rattled through a litany of ridiculous excuses, and blew me off completely. No estimate, no responsibility, no respect. If they are so busy they can disregard sincere inquiries, then I wish them the best of luck. Based on this experience, however, I cannot recommend calling them. They failed to keep their agreement, and tried to make it appear it was my problem. Their front-of-house staff needs to be replaced if they are to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

They were quick to respond, actually came and gave me a quote about an hour after talking to me. This was impressive because everyone was backed up big time after the wind storm that came through. They didn't try to BS me into cutting down the whole tree, and they took a brush pile of stuff I had in my back yard for a year away as well. Don't listen to the post about the neighbor complaining about them walking in their yard, it was my fault! I didn't tell these guys to look out for the 3 square feet of new grass that was down, but I immediately roped it off and the grass is fine. The property line is confusing and I don't honestly know where my grass ends and the neighbors' grass beings. It's right in the pathway to the gate on the side of the house. No harm no foul. The price was great. I got a few quotes and they were the best. Service to match. I would call them back in a heartbeat if I ever need them again.

They took down a 32 year old by about 40 ft tall Ponderosa Pine 13 inches in diameter. It had grown completely one sided due to a row of cottonwoods right behind it. The cottonwoods are gone 3 years, but the pine just could not recover. The location was difficult being above two retaining walls and in a narrow slot at the back of the yard. The crew put down large tarps on the lawn, and placed the smaller branches on them. As they climbed the tree, they tied the larger branches to a zip line and cleanly slipped them across the yard to another tarp. They cut the trunk down in 2-3 ft sections and also zipped them across the yard. Safe and clean as a whistle. The crew worked together as a real team.
