Heard of the amazing food this place dishes out. Arrived Sunday around 11am not to crowed was seated as soon as we walked in. Very cozy spot the decor with lots of copper pots all over. Coffee was good, soda cans not a fan of. Now the food, yes perfect portions and well made. Now when the bill came my pancake special was $28.00 that's insane. Thus my 2 stars.

We were vacationing in the area and found great reviews for breakfast at The Copper Pot. We attempted to go on Dec. 26 but it was closed. We got lucky that as we were heading back to Houston on Dec. 27, they had reopened. Seating is limited in the front area. There's a larger area in the back and a patio too. We all loved our breakfast plates. My brother and I shared The Frenchman which included French toast, eggs and a protein of your choice. The French toast was really good. The coffee was good quality and smooth. The staff is very nice. They've been open for one year. Parking is limited up front but there's more in the back. Having brown sugar for the coffee would be a plus. The room where we dined had a Christmas tree with copper pots as ornaments. They offer salsa for your eggs.

Trio appetizer (they were out of the guac. but I couldn't drink the queso it was so good)

THE best chips and queso, burger and fries i've ever had. Keoni provided the best service. We called when we parked and asked about the dog patio and he opened it right up for us. You can tell EVERYTHING is made in house. If you're passing through like we were or if you're local to Ingram, I 100% recommend Copper Pot. 10/10 food and service.

Wow! It's the cutest little place! The food was absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic! This was our first time here but we will be regulars. We had the half Sammi combo with the turkey sandwich which was so good! The fries were perfect and the raspberry vinaigrette on my salad was the best! We then split a slice of the chocolate cake and OMG! They make everything taste amazing and it looks beautiful!

We had a girls group and everything from service to food was wonderful. Even the coffee was fantastic. I ate every single thing. Can't wait to go back.

What a quaint little surprise during our Kerrville weekend! Service was impeccable, the food came to the table quickly and it was delectable! Definitely chef driven and creative takes on the traditional brunch!

These are one of my favorite places to search for, and if they serve biscuits, I just have to try. I ordered the breakfast sandwich to go. You have a choice of bread, in which I chose biscuit, as well as egg, cheese, & choice of meat. I opted out of the meat. And a side of hashbrowns. The woman that took my order at the register was sweet & working hard mending the tables as well. I know the unwritten rule of ordering to-go is check if everything is there & correct. I didn't think I needed to for something as simple as an egg & cheese biscuit sandwich. To my dismay, there was absolutely no cheese. I even pulled apart the folded egg & inspected it to see if maybe cheese cooked into it...nope. Took a bite, still no cheese. I asked for the egg under cooked & it was certainly overcooked with some spots of a light brown but I'll try my best not to hold that against them since it was to-go. And omg the biscuit....a miserable looking biscuit smaller than my palm. Crumbly & soft inside, taste that was decent but nothing close to redeeming the size & not including cheese. The hashbrowns, super greasy! Had a puddle of the grease sitting on the bottom of the box & at seeped bottom of bag too. Very disappointing.

The hotel I'm staying at has a breakfast buffet that's number 2 on the list. I can't tell you how wrong Yelp actually is on a recent Sunday. I put my big boy Wranglers on and headed off to sway the internet into a different direction. I've had plenty of Bourdain moments in my life. Eat local, get the cream sauce (no actual cream sauce exists here). Have a drink in a empty bar (they don't serve alcohol). Sent the GF in to secure a table while I found a parking space (PACKED LOT). Once seated in a two top service was pleasant but there were a few flaws. Like, toast without jelly offered. Don't think I've ever seen anyone dip white bread into refried beans as an alternative. I opted for Migas sorta based on our servers recommendation. I mean, they offer Eggs Sardou. And, brisket, Tex-Mex staples, biscuits, and homemade Blue Corn Tortillas??? Plus, sauce game off the charts with unbelievable red and green salsas. Ok, enough teasing here's the deets. My Migas were interesting but missed the advertised Chorizo as the menu described. Also, interesting that they top the dish with an enchilada sauce. GF chose the Brisket omelette with eggs and cheese mixture. Happy girl minus the lack of jelly offered. And this is where it got real. We sat next to many local families; discussing city issues (Ingram proper) which we overheard. Single men dining all the way to just couples like us. We finally threw in the napkins and headed to the counter to pay only to learn that someone had already paid our bill. This IS the restaurant you need to visit!

We were attended to promptly and after reviewing the menu we placed our order. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and son ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. We watched some regulars come in and hug their favorite wait staffers (which seemed to be everyone on duty!) and check on other patrons to say hi before settling back at their table. The vibe was people on business lunches, retirees meeting up with friends, and a few tourists. I really loved the "homeyness" of watching everyone being familiar with the patrons and the overall friendly vibe. Our order arrived and I loved that the lettuce was cut into small bite size pieces rather than larger leaves which always look like someone grazing when eating off the fork. The bite size pieces were a nice surprise and also loved the grapefruit slice! I love grapefruit so this was so nice to see!! First bite was great! I tasted a hint of mustard in the dressing - not for sure if there was but it was a tangy change of the usual Caesar dressing. I liked it! I had as much as I could and my growing son finished it off for me after he finished his sandwich. I asked him about his sandwich and he said it was the best ham and cheese he's ever had! Hey...I said...what about mine!!?? Oh well. He loved the bread and the Swiss cheese. Different flavors for him and he approved. We didn't do dessert since we had shopping to do. We paid the bill and readied to leave. I noted to the lady group sitting next to us about one of the ladies purse. It was super cute and not the standard luxury fare. They were so friendly to my remark I swore if I commented more they would have told me to join them! Super friendly people, restaurant, and great food!! We'll have to try it again sometime after we try all the other restaurants in town!! You won't be disappointed if you try this place!!
