Trash humans working here. Parked my vehicle in front of my garage in the community we're about to move out from late at night to put my toddler and infant to bed - guy in patrol car watches us unload everyone (an act of negligence knowing we have infant car seats in the vehicle). Horrible parking in the area, picking up sister in law for my daughters birthday from the airport that night. Close the garage out of habit and have my car towed. Guy on the phone (Darren) was an unapologetic troglodyte. Said we had been warned, when we do not possess any formal written notices. Additionally, every guard that has come by whom I have had convos with has noted that the vehicles are ours and remind us to get them parked before we leave. As a security patrol, the job is to protect and serve the community to whom they are employed - this is the most abhorrent action taken. read more

Been towed twice this year. Earlier this year, I was towed because my car was parked in front of my garage as my daughter was playing lacrosse in the garage with a rebounder. Rather than knock on the garage door and tell us to move the car, they just towed it. I wish Copper Eagle cared about having a relationship with those in the community they serve rather than creating an adversarial relationship like it is now. I wish they cared more about catching the bad guys who are breaking into our cars and houses instead of towing cars away to make us mad and broke. I've lived in the community since 2007 and had never been towed until this year and now have been, twice. It sure doesn't feel like they work for us. If it were up to me, I'd say let's save some money and get rid of Copper Eagle altogether. They certainly don't make our neighborhoods safer. read more

Make it make sense. I've lived in my community for 2 years. Recently had my car towed for "abusing" parking. If a car is parked in the same spot for days on end....I can understand. However my car is moved daily to different spots and areas. Everyone in the community uses various parking spots the same as I do, yet off a whim, they decide to tow my car. $375 for 1 day. robbery. There are cars on my street that have been parked in the same spot for over 7 days, no movement, and nothing! If you're going to be an ass and disturb the residents of the area, at least be consistent. You can't subjectively decide rules that aren't part of a policy and only enforce them on certain areas of the community. I've also had neighbors have their own cars towed from in front of their house or outside their own garage (not in a fire zone)... but again, 1 neighbor does this almost everyday, no tow...someone else does it they decide to tow? Then if you actually call them for service, they may not even send anyone. Security is to protect and monitor the area FOR the people that live there...not to be the parking gustapo. The way these guys like to get cars towed, wouldn't be surprised if they get some kind of kick back from the towing company. Definitely will be bringing this up with my HOA with hopes of changing to a different company. Stop screwing hard working people over! Everyone isn't made of money!! read more

Always seeing reports of catalytic converters being stolen on Ring, and I would think a security company who is always patrolling the neighborhood might deter these kinds of things from happening, but no. What you can expect from this "security" company is that they will monitor where you park and how long you are parked there. Mailboxes being tampered with? Just had my car wrongfully towed this morning at my bestfriends complex. My parking pass was visibly in the middle of my dash yet when I went to leave for work, my car was gone. I got this car barely a week ago and was terrified that it might have been stolen. I'm 20 years old and this was my first car I bought on my own, so this was a terrible to experience. I've had problems with this security company before with parking at this complex, but this was so uncalled for. I missed hours of work over my car being mistakenly towed. Luckily the towing company didn't charge me, and even the woman at the tow yard said everyone was confused as to why my car was towed. Can't even read the officers name at the bottom, maybe he was drunk or maybe he's blind. read more

We live on a private street with very strict parking rules that are violated daily. Copper Eagle is suppose to monitor it and yet they don't. Cars have been parked for weeks at a time with not even a notice put on them. At 5:02 pm on 1/1/2021, a female employee almost ran me over as I was crossing the street where the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy is located. The driver was speeding down Soledad St. I saw this and stopped at the corner of Oak before crossing the street. She seemed to slowed down and I assumed (erroneously) that she was going to stop as I was crossing the street, you know, since the law gives pedestrians the right of way. No, instead your employee decided to gun it right as I was crossing the street. She's a dangerous driver. I hope the owner takes this incident seriously and acts appropriately. read more

This company exists only to harass the people it claims to serve. copper eagle patrols my neighborhood and they only take breaks from playing on their cell phones to write residents tickets for parking violations. ive been confronted by a guard simply making up rules as he went about queuing for the gate. he placed his car in park after he entered the gate of our community so that I could not pass behind him. even though I showed him my gate fob and proof of residence, he still demanded I arbitrarily wait for the gate to close before opening it to pass through. he claimed this was a company policy, even though that isn't our HOA policy and never has been. these guys are clowns. your neighborhood is better off without them in it. read more

I used to work for this company, if you read the other reviews you'll see that most rate Copper Eagle with one star. The reason for all the bad ratings is the fact that they pay their employees barely above minimum wage and the management there only cares about getting more clients without hiring more employees. This results in their employees being overwhelmed with more clients than their patrol officers can check on during their shifts and their low pay that they receive results in their bad attitude. Horrible service. My security system catches them driving through our culdesac at higher than posted speed. How can you catch anyone driving so fast. I also got a parking warning even when I had my placard displayed. He was to lazy to go to the front drivers side to look for it. It might also help to use a flashlight at 330 am, just saying. I was working in my parking garage and briefly parked my car in a visitor spot. In my haste I forgot to park my vehicle back in the garage and subsequently fell asleep. As I woke the next morning, my vehicle was gone as it had been impounded. I believe the security officers judgement was misplaced during this incident as there were approximately 20 other open visitor spots next to my car. During this stressful time with the COVID-19 and many layoffs, I believe a warning would have been sufficient. I was charged $450 to remove my vehicle. I think there security officers need better training during this emergency crises where money is tight. read more

Horrible company. My aunt comes over to take care of my kids, and parks in the guest parking every day. This company has been leaving "violation" notices on her windshield for the past 2 months. Last notice they even highlighted the "Subject to tow" part on the violation. Guest parking states she cannot park for more than 24 hours which she never does but says nothing along the lines of using the guest parking everyday. I have reached out to my HOA but seems like they are not interested in helping this get cleared out. read more

I typically only write positive reviews on Yelp but copper eagle has been hard at work (not) again. The HOA where I rent hires copper eagle as the patrol/security. The rule in the community is that residents can't park anywhere outside of our designated garage spots, which in our case is 2 spots and they are tandem. This rule only seems to be enforced overnight. There are 3 of us living in our unit so we have to coordinate who leaves first in the morning and switch cars or wait for the other person to park in front and the 3rd person walks 5 mins to park on the street. During the day yesterday 2 of us parked in guest parking until our roommate came home so one of us could get picked up from the street and the other park in the spot. Our roommate came home and we forgot to move all of the cars and we fell asleep, so we wake up this morning and our cars are gone. 2 of them towed. Mind you 2 of my roommates' cars have already been towed before. One was $380 to release it because it was a weekend, the other $260 on a weekday. We were parked in a legal spot, not a fire lane or anything. They couldn't just give us one warning? This security company thinks they're hot stuff making circles through the complex only ever doing anything at night, that "anything" being looking for cars to tow. Not once have I experienced them being helpful. Units were getting broken into during the day and copper eagle was nowhere to be found, the HOA just emailed the residents saying lock your doors and put a dowel in the sliding door. And the garage doors have been broken multiple times before and my bike got stolen out of the garage because of it, no sign of copper eagle. I've never seen them get out of their car except to ticket or tow. Poor excuse for security. They'll cost you a lot more than they'll protect. read more

Honestly this company has nothing better to do then to ticket people for parking in front of their OPEN garages. They had my car towed after a measily 2 hours parked in front of my moms. I am now stuck at my moms house with my 3 year old and no car seat. Update: cost me $445 to get my car back back!!!! $445 people! SANTA CLARITA TOWING is just out there taking advantage of people. I'm not happy with this company. They put a violation note of parking storage on my daily driver car that was park in front of my house. How can they determine that my car is been is park in the same spot for 72 hrs( which is our community restrictions ) if I'm using it to go work every night. I live in the Montecito neighborhood in Santa Clarita and just had the most awful experience with Copper Eagle. I had gone into our pool area to take photos around 7:00, knowing the pool area is not supposed to close until 8:00. Well low and behold someone from copper Eagle came and locked me into the gate at around 7:05, which I don't know how that is possible considering the fact that I was out in the open where any non-blind person should be able to see, especially a security guard whose job it is to make sure that no one is in the pool area who shouldn't be there. That isn't the worse part though, because people make honest mistakes you know. The worst part was when I called the copper eagle phone line and told the guy what had happened. He then proceeded to accuse me of not living in the community, and made up that the pool closes at 7 when it very clearly states that it closes at 10 normally and 8 due to corona. He then tells me he will send someone. Well 15 minutes go by and I'm still locked in, and I call him back to ask when someone is going to come. He then responds that he can't prioritize THE FACT THAT IM LOCKED INSIDE A GATE DUE TO HIS EMPLOYEES MISTAKE and it may take between 45 minutes to an hour for someone to come. The amount of attitude that I received on the line was not okay, and he was not at all sympathetic to the fact that I was locked inside a gate and was panicked. Every time someone parks in my assigned parking space I call copper eagle out and they take car of the issue for me no if ands or buts. Lately in my community there has been a lot of homeless people using the pool facility. When I see this going on I call Copper Eagle out and they come out and remove the homeless subjects. I get that people are mad when they violate parking rules and get towed but this company speeds through our community or the drivers are on their phones not even paying attention to more important things like people parking in the rear areas doing god knows what or actual crimes. On 05/30/2018, my father was offloading his work truck at Eddy's Mini storage at 17369 Sierra HWY, 91386, where he has a storage unit. By the time he was done, around 8pm, the entrance/exit gate to the storage facility was locked and he could not exit the property. The office had their lights on inside but no one was there, neither did anyone answer the phone number listed for the business. A little bit after 8pm, the security guard, from Copper Eagle showed up at the gate and my dad had asked him if he can assist him in getting out of the facility as he did not want to spend the night on someone else's property. The guard tried calling the business number to no avail, called his office and was given some code to the gate which ended up not working. After that he told my dad that there's nothing else that he could do or help him out, ended up getting in his car and leaving him there by himself. I, myself had to take the matter into my own hands and contact the local sheriff's department for assistance. The sheriff's department arrived, called for the fire department, who used the fire department lock access to open the gate. The sheriff's department vehicles waited the whole time until the fire department truck had arrived to both of whom we are very thankful and grateful. We are appalled at the unprofessionalism and carelessness of a security company and their protocols dealing with a situation in a manner where they just leave a helpless person behind a locked gate, telling them that there's nothing that they could do or help with to let them out and just leave from a situation that they could not resolve. This is a security company that is contracted to observe, patrol and protect the business. read more
