Very unprofessional!!!! After the pavers were layed, Jan said they would leave the extra pavers from the pallet (that I paid for) but when I came home, the only thing left was a partial paver that had been cut for a corner. He did eventually come and bring me a few he said he had leftover from another job. I waited over a year and was continually promised the tree would be replaced but he never showed. It was great to actually have communication with the office. The first service exceeded my expectations. Jovan and crew were very polite, and the yard and bushes look better than ever. After mowing, trimming bushes, and blowing the yard, they checked the drip lines and sprinkler heads to make sure there were no leaks and that the times were set correctly. Thankful that the management cares enough to fix the issue and train the team. UPDATE 9/2026 3 STARS: We had Silver Fern for two years, and they charged $94 a month, which was a reasonable price for monthly maintenance. Recently, they increased the rate to $99 a month. While that increase was manageable, it ultimately wasn't worth it given the quality of service we received. We enjoyed the crew when they first started, but over time, the cost no longer made sense for the minimal amount of work being done. The service really seemed to decline over the last six months. Since our yard has no grass, their only tasks were blowing leaves and trimming the bushes, and they would be in and out within 15 minutes. They used to stay at least 30 minutes, so it seemed very rushed. During their last visit, they cut our bushes almost bare and unevenly, something they hadn't done before. Additionally, about six months ago, our irrigation box was broken off the wall and laying on the ground, and we weren't notified by the crew. When we discovered it a week after their service visit, we were quoted $355 to have their irrigation timer installed. This was far too expensive for an issue that could have been avoided. After careful consideration, we decided to part ways with them.

Melvin was good on communication to let me know when he was coming. I met Melvin Sr and Melvin Jr they were also 15mins early to give estimate and an hour early on Tuesday to do the work. The work was quick, they were efficient and cleaned up and most of all the value price was affordable.

I called to get pricing, and had a nice chat with Nolynn. He gave me a good rate, and I decided to use their services to spread my new gravel in the backyard. The work itself was great, but I gave them two stars for some issues with communication and scheduling. I had e-mailed Nolynn on a Friday with some questions. I hadn't heard from him, so I left a voice mail on Saturday. He sent me a quick e-mail on Sunday. I got his voice mail again on Monday. I e-mailed him later that day (rock was being delivered on Tuesday, so timing was becoming an issue). He finally responded that they would be able to come on Thursday at 7:00 AM. That worked OK.... not great, but OK. I rescheduled the rock delivery for Wednesday. Then on Wednesday night he sent me an e-mail that they'd be at the house 9-10AM instead of 7:00. I wasn't thrilled, but it was too late to change landscapers at that point. With my wife waiting all morning for them to come, he called me at 10:15 and said that they'd run into problems at the job they were on. They'd be at my place "in an hour or so". It was 11:45 before they showed up! As I said before, the work quality was great and the pricing was fine (about the same as some other companies). Due to the communication and scheduling issues, I doubt if I'll use Wildcat again.
