I wanted to order food to bring up to our room. Looked over the menu online, then searched all over for a phone number which I couldn't find anywhere. I called the front desk who transferred me to their number. It rang and rang then went to voicemail. I left a message but never got a call back. I did this both in the late evening and the next afternoon. Was very disappointed in this place. read more

My wife and I stayed at the casino for several nights and ate here for lunch. She had a tuna salad sandwich on a croissant, while I had pepper steak. I thought my food was quite good--loaded with grilled steak, peppers, onions and especially mushrooms over Jasmine rice. I did get some heartburn afterwards, though I have good reason to believe it wasn't the restaurant (had it elsewhere the following day as well). The value wasn't bad for a quick bite at the casino, and service was solid. It's kind of a cafeteria-style seating environment, which is fine if you're looking to pop in or out on games. read more

The service is SLOW!!! Then the food had NO flavor. We ordered the Nachos, Sweat and Sour with noodles. The noodles were like spaghetti, yuk. The cheese burger combo, burger was not too bad but was definitely small for the price. Cashiers have no customer service from the time of paying and picking up food. They are like robots. read more

If there was a lower score I'd choose that. I ordered the pancake breakfast. In the past it's been excellent. The chefs working this evening 2/10 really don't care about what they are serving. I ordered scrambled eggs. They came out looking like shredded cooked hard egg. I showed them and said can you scramble them. Same result. Awful. read more

Open 24/7 its almost like Dennys! The food is reasonably priced and the service is fast. They provide large cups - 24 ounces to be exact. Just wish the sodas were refillable. The dining area is clean and spacious. Located next to the sound stage and just off the casino floor, its a great spot to grab a quick bite without a wait. The sandwhiches are pretty good. My wife enjoyed their grilled cheese and I liked the club. The chili is yummy and filling. The fries come with all combos and are always fresh and crispy - never soggy. The night I dropped in, the pizza maker was down for maintenance... bummer. Remember to tip well! I'll probably dine here again when visiting. When you don't want a buffet or a fancy steak, Cactus is the place to be. You can thank me later. read more

Located in the Harrah's Ak-Chin Hotel & Casino, the Copper Cactus Grill seemed like a Godsend after the long drive to Maricopa in the middle of the dessert. Keyword: seemed. The menu was pretty standard-burgers, corn dogs, chicken tenders and so forth. The wait time for our food was unacceptable. There weren't that many people ahead of us waiting for their food but some of the customers that ordered after us got their food before us. They had a condiment counter which was obviously neglected by their employees because the counter was sticky and covered in ketchup and God only knows what else. There are a few tables to sit at right in front of the register but they are placed so close together that I got the gist of our table neighbor's life story in just that one sitting. The food was beyond greasy and if it did have any flavor, it was masked in the grease. My simple warning is: don't waste your precious time on their mediocre carnival-like, overpriced food. read more

Unbelievable for a casino restaurant... Do your self a favor and bring a bologna sandwich from home.. I promise it would be better

Food is decent if they give you what you ordered that is. We placed an order for two burgers loaded and a chicken bacon ranch sandwhich for breakfast we could share. They charged us for all of this plus 2 bottles of water well they don't sell water and the cashier was like a deer caught in the headlights how do you charge someone for an item you don't sell? We made it easy since they couldn't figure out how to give us our change back, must be that core math their teaching these kids now a days, to make it easy for everyone we just had them add some cookies to the order in exchange. We waited and our # kept getting passed up but we knew it would take a bit so no worries there. We get our food and they didn't give us the chicken sandwich. The guy was rude and unhappy we're like we paid for it and even though we showed him we did he said well it's not on my receipt. Instead of arguing because we were already irritated I just told him well I guess u guys need the cash more than we need the damn sandwhich. This place is a complete joke! Employees are rude and don't care! You always have to clean a table to sit down. And here's the biggie... They have pizza on the menu, but they NEVER have any! The oven was broke from Jan. Till March. It works supposedly now but may never know. We order and we are told... oh we don't have any dough... we aren't making anymore tonight ( it was 9pm on Fri.)...now tonight at 10pm after waiting in line 20 minutes... we are told "We don't have any pizza!" This was the worst service. One employee was washing trays while the food just piled up. There were at least 7 orders backed up with people waiting everywhere. When the gentleman in the back said something to her she responded that she was almost done. I couldn't believe the lack of any sort of urgency. People were upset who were waiting on one item. The quality of the food and the portion sizes here are very good. I had several late night snacks here when I stayed at Harrah's Ak-Chin during spring training back in March. My go-to things to order are the turkey burger combo and the cheeseburger combo. The combos come with fries and a bottle of soda or juice for $10 or less. All the tables are nasty dirty Not a manager to be found. Conditums area is so disgusting it amazes me the health department doesn't close them down. Overhead vents what are they for, they should be to vent the kitchen in a real world situation Not here grease smell goes out into the already nasty dining area. How about upgrading the menu other than jacking up the prices on the same less than desirable food. Harrahs dropped the ball on this area the rest of there eating places our 5 star. Make this place better or do us a favor close and put in vending machines can't be much worse. I would be embarrsed to be a manager of this dump.
