Regardless, the meat was lean and tender and has a nice smokey taste. I prefer not to use sauce and this meat didn't need any. The burnt ends (both beef and pork belly) were good but I would stick to the brisket. My husband got a baked potato and it was loaded up nicely. The fries were very good and served piping hot. The toppings on the burger were the only good thing about it. The Beyond burger had mustard that tasted off and there was no mayo. The bun was hard and dry. I was hoping for homemade fries in a place like this, not shoestring frozen fries that taste like they were purchased from Fry's store brand. The shakes were ok. For the about the same price as Culver's or Red Robin, I was expecting a better quality burger. I guess for Globe it is a high quality burger place. Took a while, but my Ruben was hot off the grill, as was the wife's burger. Fries hot and crispy. Just great bar food. Nothing fancy, but easy going. 3 out of 5 stars for just overall ambience. This is not a place to take little kids, due to some of the painting on close to the ceiling - a certain level of female exposure.
