Called this morning to place a 10 pizza order The girl that answered the phone said "we don't open until 11! I explained that I could come well after 11 but if she would just take the order now since it was so large and she said "No, we open @ 11" she then hung up on me. Name change? When I visited Globe, this restaurant was called Pizza By the Slice. I thought they would have OPTIONS, but no I was told that they ONLY serve Pepperoni pizza by the slice. Now, the pizza was really good! Not too much sauce, which meant that they relied heavily on the flavor of their dough/crust. It felt light, almost airy. Let's cut to it, pizza alone 5 stars. What hinders this restaurant is the customer service and lack of options for pizza! I get it, a mom and pop business won't be able to have every flavor of pizza available, but come on cheese is the simplest pizza to make. I asked them what time they close because I wanted to take a pizza back to Phoenix. The young lady says, "we close when we run out of dough, could be 5:30 or 6:30"...WHAAAT?!? This is the best pizza in the Globe/Miami area. It was a fine slice. Maybe not the best I've ever had. But there isn't much in the way of pizza joints here. So the best you'll find is at this place. They keep pepperoni on hand. If thats what you want, you don't have to wait for it. It was fun watching the girl at the counter talk to everyone by name and she knew family members too. The price is affordable and I always preferred getting a whole pie here compared to the other pizza places in town. I love Leonard Paul's, when it is good. I have noticed that this place seems to very in quality often. For a few months it will be great, but then for a month or two it won't be as good. It will have very, very little sauce, cheese, toppings, etc. However when it is fresh and good, it is great! I would give it a try if you are in the area. read more

It hurts my heart to have to rate this 1 star as I grew up in Globe and it was always a treat to eat here... about 10 years ago I moved to the valley so grabbing a slice was few and far between as the only times I come to town is holidays due to work.. well I was finally able to come up on a regular weekend. Being from out of town we really wanted to have some good out of state pizza. We stopped in and ordered two. Came back for puck up and was handed 6 dollars and tips we were over charged which was very honest. However the pizza crust had no flavor, the sauce was very sweet and it appeared to not be cooked all the way. Unfortunately we will not go back. read more

Heard this was the play to eat in Globe. i was not impressed. the sauce was bland, the cheese tasted cheap, the pepperoni had no flavor and it was pretty over priced. $6 for 2 small slices and a small drink. not really sure why its so popular but i don't think there is much else to eat in the area. read more

Decent overall. My crust was soggy and each slice only had 3 maybe 4 pepperoni on them. Wont be sad if I don't eat at this place again.

Very bad service ! The 2 ladies were both annoyed of my presence. I felt more of a nuisance than a customer! Whoever is in charge needs to re-evaluate the staff! Fantastic pizza and even better staff,the whole team was kind and helpful. Crust was excellent and toppings were phenomenal and in ample portion. Pizza was just okay when compared to the price. At 6 dollars for a couple slices I definitely expected more.

Pretty good pizza. One suggestion is to cook the pizza just a little longer as the pizza is still doughy and soggy. But the sauce is flavorful and there is a lot of cheese. read more
