The pool is relaxing. The iced coffee in the clubhouse is fantastic. And the staff is friendly and super helpful.

Their prompt and efficient problem-solving abilities along with their professionalism and kindness stood out to me. It took over 2 months but it was worth it. The apartment was completely renovated and even had new carpet. I had one minor issue for the move in checklist and it was remedied by maintenance within 2 days. Possibly more important -- this complex is very, very dog friendly. From the women in the office (Brianne, Amy and Deann) to every neighbor I have met -- they are all so nice to my dog and to me. This is a friendly place. I loved the layout of this apartment and that's why I chose it. I had no idea all of the other things here I would love. I was selling a house and worried about apartment living -- now I wonder what took me so long. I have not rented for many years, and this life is way better than I remember. I have to give Casto credit-- this place is well taken care of, and they have hired an exceptional staff here.

My respect for them remains. However, after living here for just one month, I now realize I may have spoken too soon. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is recovering from cancer, celebrating life, or looking for a supportive community. I am in remission from breast cancer, and I have been doing my best to enjoy this second chance at life with my family and friends. My best friend is a truck driver, and I dog sit for her while she's on the road -- this has been met with complaints. I've been written up multiple times for very minor things, including briefly blocking a neighbor's garage while moving a mattress. Instead of my neighbor knocking on my door, they went straight to the office. I'm now being told that if I get one more complaint, I'll be evicted. I have a solid rental history with no issues at previous properties, so to suddenly be treated like a problem tenant feels unfair and targeted. I'm not allowed more than two guests at the pool, which makes it hard to gather with loved ones. I can't properly celebrate my daughter's graduation, or mourn and remember my other daughter on the anniversary of her passing -- even simple family support is treated like a disruption here. To make matters worse, I subleased my unit and haven't even started the official lease term, yet they are demanding $25,000 to let me out of the lease. I feel trapped in a space that doesn't support healing, joy, or life. This environment may be suitable for someone who prefers total silence and solitude -- maybe even the elderly or those at the end of life -- but it's no place for someone trying to live, heal, and thrive. Moving here was a mistake. I just want to move forward with peace and dignity, but this place has made that nearly impossible.

Prospective tenants should carefully consider the information below before signing a lease. The apartment required additional cleaning upon moving in. I reported this to management, who acknowledged it but no corrective action was ever taken. Construction quality throughout the units appears to be below expectations for the price point. The area has experienced systemic crime issues that are not communicated to residents. In January 2019, 27-year-old Yong Bin Zhang was fatally shot in a garage at this complex - a case that remains unsolved. More recently, car break-ins and thefts have occurred, yet management does not appear to proactively alert other tenants about criminal activity on the property. I encourage others to do their own due diligence on this. The location presents additional challenges: situated directly by train tracks (frequent train horn noise), on a busy street where exiting during weekday afternoons can be difficult, and at a very high-traffic intersection. The pool was unavailable for most of the summer. The gym cleanliness was inconsistent. With limited dumpster capacity for the number of units, waste management becomes challenging. Management sends passive aggressive notices to residents but enforcement and property upkeep (beyond landscaping) were inconsistent during my residency. Notably, there is an $80 monthly amenity fee - ironic considering the poor state of the amenities. Additionally, residents are locked into a single internet provider at $130/month with no alternative options. The sole maintenance technician was responsive and professional - the only competent aspect of operations. The leasing office had significant difficulty handling standard procedures: My move-out was scheduled when the leasing office was closed, preventing me from handing in keys or conducting a joint walk-through. This resulted in $875 in itemized cleaning charges despite leaving the unit in a better state than I found it in after only living here for 3 months. The initial final statement did not include my security deposit and when I identified this error, they were dismissive and did not believe me. Follow-up calls were required before a corrected statement was issued over a month later and was not acknowledged with an apology. I was aware of some issues from other reviews before moving in and accepted them because I only needed a short-term lease. However, I did not anticipate the problems would be this severe. My experience revealed a pattern of accounting errors, communication challenges, lack of transparency regarding safety incidents, and difficulties during the move-out process. The property management approach did not meet reasonable expectations. The Connor Group (parent company) has tenant discussion groups online where residents from multiple properties share similar experiences with management practices. Looking online, there are multiple claims against this company filed on the Ohio Attorney General's website. Stay away.

It is in a busy area off N High, with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, but is set off the street a ways with trees and a little creek. I hear traffic, but it's not totally obnoxious. I love being able to walk down the hill to take a walk on High, or walk to Target, Goodwill, or Aldi, etc. Property mgr. Cindy and her staff, including maintenance, have always been very nice, helpful, and quick to respond. It is well-maintained, and very quiet. There have been car break-ins, but Cindy has made sure that Columbus Police are aware and they do security checks in our lots at night. There has been package theft as well, so Cindy had cameras installed in each lobby/mailbox area, and instructed delivery drivers to leave packages there vs. at individual apt. doors. There is a visitor parking area by the rental office. The residential parking areas require a parking tag. This is all fine, but can be a pain if you have a visitor that, unless you pick them up, has to climb the stairs or walk a distance to see you. The pros: the heated pool opens early in the season and closes later in Sept/Oct. The balconies are huge. I actually have 2 sets of outdoor furniture, along with plants in good weather. With 2 sliding glass doors (one in bedroom and one in living room), there is plenty of natural light. I rarely close my blinds during the day. There is a stackable washer/dryer located behind a sliding barn door by in the hallway. The clubhouse is nice and can be rented. There are resident gatherings and events with food and drinks. After Brenz Pizza opened across the street by Target, they have twice now offered residents 50% off days. The pet fees and storage locker fees are very reasonable. Good security: each of the 4 buildings have locked entrances to the lobbies, with residents needing a fob to enter. There are elevators as well as stairs. Location! Besides being in Clintonville, I can quickly get to 71 off Morse, or to 315 from 161. The cons: there is no gym on the premises. There is a LA Fitness in Graceland shopping center, and smaller Pilates studios in walking distance. I wish there was an ice machine in my freezer. There are some rules, such as only 1 pet allowed, no privacy webbing on the balcony, no wreaths/hangings on the apt. door. I recommend this complex.

It was large and the selling points were the built-in bookshelves in the dining and living areas. There was also a built-in desk in the dining area. The kitchen island was enormous (10'?). It was lovely. Big bedrooms and big bathrooms. It was walkable to bars & restaurants, and a movie theatre. There are pretty trees on the property and a big grassy area for dogs to run. There is a fenced dog park on property and poop bag dispensers. The pool is nice. I used it a lot. The staff host resident events, which were mostly really nice. Right after we moved in, I went to a Friday brunch that included mimosas and good food items. Nice. Another was for Valentine's Day. They had lots of stuff (candles, candy, chocolate, and beauty products) laid out to choose from to make a basket. So nice. They also had a bookcase with books to borrow. I borrowed some, and added some. The garages are $100 extra, but that is cheaper than other complexes. Good response to maintenance requests. There is no third party electric (a plus!). They rent the party space for $50 (cheap!). The negatives: Train noise with loud whistle blowing ALL the time. Upstairs neighbor stomping & dropping heavy things ALL the time. We complained but it kept happening. Trash builds up by the dumpsters. Residents don't break down boxes for recycling and don't use the compactor enough. Exteriors are not power washed. The property mgr left and there was no communication of this or of her replacement. She was very personable so she was missed. Narrow balcony big enough for plants, not enough room for a table or chairs. The mandatory add-on fees for digital lock & valet trash pick up are ridiculous. They were around $20 each, but the valet wasn't necessary since the trash and recycling bins were right outside our building. There is no walking path or park close. The traffic was noisy, but it is located on Rt 23 so expected. We also heard cars racing multiple times, perhaps away from the main road. We did have an issue with a leaking hot water tank that the maintenance guy attended to. He found mold in the washer/dryer area and sprayed it. He said we needed a new tank but they didn't have one available. We never heard another word about it, even though I followed up. I also believe I left some kitchen items in a lower cabinet but was told it was checked. If I did, it was my fault, but a courtesy call would have been nice. My stuff was probably thrown in the dumpster. I think that is all. I wouldn't live here again.
