ok for the most part. However it be a better business practice to return calls when important msgs are left concerning needed repairs at no fault of our own. Shouldn't have to call 2-3 times and or threaten to get corporate involved to get a response. Maintenance is there within five minutes of putting in a work order. Always polite, efficient and professional!

Nicole and the other people in the front office were always helpful and informative, and maintenance was also very helpful. My issue was only that when things were worn out and needed to be replaced, the property would rather fix than replace. So, consequently, the garbage disposal went out regularly, my second room window never worked properly, the heat pump/air conditioner was never fixed properly, and my energy bills were always high once the problem arose. read more

Hands down best apartment ever. The staff is always very pleasant in person and over the phone and always willing to help and find answers to any of your questions! The maintenance team is on top of it always, and will get your work order done faster than any other apartment I've ever lived in. The apartment is very large and kept clean, especially with having PooPrints (using the pet DNA system) which means less doo-doo everywhere and finally people being held responsible with their pets. We've lived here for a year now and just renewed our lease. Not because we are in LOVE with the complex or anything, but moving is a pain in the ass, its a good location, and it's really not bad. We live in phase 2 so it's pretty quite which is nice -- only problem with noise would be our floors (neighbors ceilings) are INSANELY thin. I have never heard anything once from my two wall sharing neighbors but I hear every little bit of bass from the downstairs neighbors. The apartment itself is REALLY nice. We are in a 2b/2b walk up with patio and balcony. I do wish we had a covered balcony but you win some you lose some. One genuinely positive thing about this place is that when they expanded their property to a phase 2 they added in a second pool so there is plenty of space for those who show up. Their gym is OK, the equipment could use some updates-- one of the bikes is broken, and their exercise mats are falling apart. So not in love, not upset. Just living life. read more

This apartment complex is getting worse every day. This is their grill their wifi is bad, the lawns look terrible, and they want a 72 year old women to remove an empty nest. The leasing people are being very very nasty. And my safety here is questionable? It was run sooo much better two years ago! I would not suggest this place anymore to anyone! I've gone back and forth with Albany Glen and now with their collections company, FABCO and would like to reiterate to anyone thinking of moving to this place to reconsider. I truly believe they've used photos from someone else's apartment in an attempt to make us pay for carpet stains that did not exist in our apartment. Frustrating. One of the expensive apt communities in this area, but for nothing. Moved into their newly constructed apartment recently but can't get internet connection.Management does not take responsibility , they point fingers at the Service providers and the service providers can't get the connection set up until the address of the new apt shows up in their system.All these after the office staffs clearly telling me that setting up a connection is just a matter of an hour , before signing the lease. I called two days ago to ask that someone come out to repair my AC unit as it has stopped working. Around 2-3pm the NEXT day a member of maintenance came out walked into the laundry to look at the AC, said it was frozen, shut it off and asked that we not turn it back on. I asked when I could turn the AC back on and he states not to turn it back on. I asked if I would be notified when I could turn the AC back on...he didn't have a clear answer. So I asked that someone let me know when I could turn the AC back on. The next day and the thermostat inside reads 85 with no air circulation. I call the office an email again and Dawn instructs me time call the emergency maintenance line where I called and was told that it was not classified as an emergency to have AC as it was not above 85 outside. I then explained that inside my apartment was hotter than the temperature outside. Again this representative said that it was not an emergency and could not assist me. The time is 3:50 and upon calling the office back they already had the phones forwarded. read more

I am first timer for renting an apartment with my two roommates. Ashley, one of the leasing consultants, was so helpful and super nice! She answered all my questions and helped me change things around when I was still figuring out our move in date and all the other information I needed. She always responded to my emails with in a day, was always extremely friendly and patient with me. We move in at the end of April and I am already super excited about living here because of the service she has given me before we have even become an official resident! I am currently on my 4th lease at Albany Glen. I have always loved living here, hence why I am on my 4th year. The staff is wonderful and always so helpful whenever I need something. I recently moved into a one bedroom in Phase II and I love it, it is so spacious and the balcony is HUGE!! I have read some reviews about the walls being thin, but you will literally have that at any apartment with someone below you or above you. They are fine, anyone could have terrible loud neighbors wherever you live. Jennifer the manager, is so easy to talk to and get along with, she never makes me feel inadequate and is so quick to respond to my emails. Management should take responsibility for the offers made by their leasing consultants even if they make an error. This apartment community does not. I really loved living here. I came from the Bradford at Easton apartment further down Morse, and these were a dream. My roommate and I lived here for 2 years and we absolutely loved it. The staff was always efficient, they actually care about any issues you're having, and they get the job done. Jen- the property manager is amazing. Can't say enough good things about her. The maintenance staff Quincey specifically & Tommy- also amazing. Always helped us out when needed. The 2 pools are very nice, the office is nice, the grounds are well kept. It's a very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the family aspect of it although we are in our 20's it was peaceful and not a lot of partying going on. Very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and laundry and kitchen. We had a top and bottom patio and it felt like a home not an apartment. In the time we both lived here, we referred a total of 3 people to move in and they all loved it as well. My fiancé was one of them, and we would have stayed had we not bought a house. We loved Albany glen and I will always refer it simply because of the kindness and effort they displayed, the cleanliness, and the efficiency. We are grateful for our time at Albany glen and I high recommend this property if you are looking for a place near Gahanna, new Albany, or blacklick. Love love loved it. Thanks guys! read more

***100% HONEST REVIEW** This was the first place I moved to after moving from another city. I've lived here for over 6 months now and being someone who reads reviews religiously, I felt inclined to leave honest feedback for those considering moving here. First and foremost, I could not imagine having a better manager. Jennifer is SO incredibly friendly and bubbly and easy to approach. As well as all the other girls working here. Absolutely love them and it makes me feel comfortable knowing I can approach them with anything and they're more than willing to help. I live in one of the townhouses towards the back of the complexes. For the first month I didn't even know if we had neighbors because it's SO quiet around here. I love that. The neighbors are all very friendly and reserved - and I would say it's definitely more of a family apartment complex than like a college/party one like the LC - but I appreciate that, because you don't have to be kept up at night listening to loud neighbors or music. And don't get me wrong, the complex puts on little events for us - like wine tasting on Valentine's Day, they randomly gave out breakfast before, and other stuff which is all really cute of them. I've read terrible things about AEP electric, which is what this complex has, but let me just say, it is one of the best and most inexpensive ones in Columbus by FAR. Living in a townhouse does make it a little more expensive, but piece of advice - never leave it on emergency heat... that makes it more expensive, which we learned the hard way. But last month for example, with it being in the 80's... its so shaded because of the porch and roofing that just opening up the window's was all we needed and kept it extremely cool inside so we kept our electric off and it was only $56. I'll take it. Absolutely LOVE our clubhouse. There's a pool table, really nice kitchen that they offer free coffee and snacks as well as a computer room if you ever need to print something. The gym equipment is nice... nothing fancy, but you learn to get creative with your workouts and it's never over crowded. There's free tanning available during office hours and the bed is nice and gets the job done. There are 2 pools, both of which are extremely clean.... as well as a fire pit and outside grill. Also love that we are so close to literally EVERYTHING. The mall is right down the street... hundreds of restaurants to choose from, bank right down the road. PLUS.... free parking. Absolutely HATE it when complexes have parking garages or assigned spots and you're forced to pay for parking every month AND whenever you have guests over they have to either park in a garage or at at meter. There's unlimited parking here and you can have as many cars as you want. REALLYYYYYY like that. So overall I would consider this a great place and great experience. I honestly don't think any other place compares, not for the price you will be paying. This is the first place that is actually reasonable. Nobody asked me to write this, and I"m not typically one to write reviews, but I genuinely love it here as well as all the people and wanted to share. This place is a dump. It's obvious that the review given by Don G. was done as an attempt to offset the review given by Jenna. This is typical of businesses to do. As an actual resident here, I would not recommend moving here. Things may improve over time, but if you have an issue, you better make sure you have everything in writing, or they will create clauses from nowhere and tell you that you agreed to them and there isn't anything they can do. Poor move in experience. Problems fell back that it's a new development and not a big deal. Postal service is a HUGE deal, including internet. Absolute disaster when first moved in. We didn't even have hot water for our first night. We were told the apartment would be ready for move in by our move in date, clearly wasn't ready. Multiple things wrong with the apartment. Had to go to Oakwood management to get thing accomplished. Even though the space for the price is ok, I would not move here solely based on the costumer service provided by not only the Albany Glen apartment, but as well as the Oakwood management. read more

Albany Glen is NOT your average apartment community! The staff , the amenities and my luxurious apartment/ over sized balcony is a retreat for me. The one bedroom apartment is built very well , which is also rare with ANY Preferred Living comm ( lived in 2 of them .... run from Preferred Living.... especially CLIFTON PARK in New Albany. At Albany Glen, there is true insulation in the construction and I cannot hear ANYTHING !!!!!! The staff has helped me in any and every way, knows me by name, and even helped me with a fax issue and when my phone was broken they used their own phone to assist my claim. There are 2 computers with internet and a printer if you need it !!!!The pool is heated, the clubhouse is open until 12 am and the free Starbucks from 6 am to 12 am is icing on the cake. The apt. community is surrounded by a protected wetland, gorgeous landscaping, and the neighbors are genuinely friendly. I have lived in many apartments all over the US and I highly recommend Albany Glen! PS they are always running incentives to move in ... you wont regret it , read more
