He was doing some mechanic work for a neighbor and I asked him if he could do some work on my van. He said he could and said he goes by the mechanics workbook and that would tell him how many hours it would take him to finish the work. He charges $125 an hour. So I had bought all the parts I needed for the work to be done: 1. Valve cover gaskets 2. Oil pan gasket 3. Oil cooler lines 4. Inline fuel filter 5. Oil filter 6. Motor oil He sent me a text message stating that it shouldn't take more than 5 hours to do the work. The first day he got most of the work done but the valve covers were warped and he couldn't get the gaskets to go on them correctly so he ordered some new ones. They came in Thursday and he came back that Sunday. He put on the valve covers and did the oil/oil filter but the oil cooler radiator was stripped out and had to be replaced. He replaced it that night and all was good he said. Now remember that the initial job didn't include the oil cooler radiator being replaced so that would have taken some extra time. He initially quoted me no more than 5 hours for everything but the radiator replacement. So how many hours did he charge me for everthing? He charged me 14 hours. Really!!! Thats a huge jump from the 5 hours he quoted. Even so i was willing to let that all go but guess what? My van WILL NOT START!!! Now my van ran well but leaked oil and i was tired of checking and adding oil every time i stopped the van. I talked to him several times on the phone and through text and he said he would come bye to check but he hasnt shown up or answered my text/calls. So now hes ghosting me. I would say that he is not a stand up guy and will not stand up for his work. I had a running van BEFORE HE WORKED ON IT NOW ITS A PAPER WEIGHT. I am going to contact a lawyer and see what i can do about this RIPOFF ARTIST. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!

Within ten minutes they told me they could inflate the tires and that my battery level was low. I asked them if they could replace the battery right there and they said of course. It took about half an hour for the battery to get delivered to the shop and for them to replace it! I was out of there in less than an hour. Seriously great service by these guys. They get you in and out quickly while performing high quality service on your car. Highly recommend this place for an auto repair shop.

Rich arranged to tow her car to the shop, diagnose the problem, and fix. He called me to let me know her car had also gone out of inspection, so he took care of that and a few other problems as well--keep in mind, he did ALL of this before ever even asking us for a credit card #, just based on our phone call. After, he drove the car home to my MIL, then took her back to the shop so she'd know how to get there when/if she needed anything else done. Felt like we had a member of the family helping us. There was alot of commotion between the workers and the owner Calvin! We were charged for break pads that were never replaced and denied a receipt! We followed up with another automotive company that same day to confirm the break pads had not been replaced! Let's face it we all need that service center you can trust. They have never attempted to up sell me on anything and they have never pushed a repair onto me. I've quested their repairs and have never had to go back for adjustment or the work not done correctly the first time. Since using them as a repair center for several repairs and having great dealings - I decided to begin using them as my go to for state inspections as well. As for cost - again I've never had them up sell me on anything and feel the costs that I've paid for repairs have been fair and most likely less then a dealership. I highly recommend this center for your car needs.
