DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I have wasted the 4 hour window they gave to come by and approve my known shipper forms for TSA so I can access and use Alaska Cargo. Not even a courtesy call that they could not make it. I have paid $190 to have this service completed, and completely sacrificed an entire workday waiting for these morons. Look at EVERY other review on Yelp, or Google, and you will see TO NEVER EVER EVER waste your time on this completely irresponsible and absolute travesty of an operation. This company does not have any level of organization or customer service. No one seems to want to take responsibility for the service they are supposed to provide. I was given a 4 hour delivery window from 8am-noon on this past Saturday and nothing showed up. At 12:15, I got a call from the driver telling me that the warehouse didn't put the package on the truck and that there was nothing he could do because the warehouse and office we're closed for the day. He said someone from the office would call me on Monday to reschedule. I also left a voicemail for the office on Saturday after talking to the driver. Monday morning comes and no one calls me. At 10:08 am I decide to call the office again and get the voicemail machine and leave another voicemail. Still no call back by 11, so I call again at 11:23 to get the receptionist. She tells me everyone who can schedule deliveries is out until 1pm, but that she will give them a note to call and reschedule. Still no call back by 3:30, so I call again at 3:42 and get someone who sounds surprised to find out that the package was not delivered on Saturday. After a brief hold, she tells me that the next delivery route won't be until Wednesday (4 days after the scheduled delivery window) and she doesn't yet know what the time window will be. Supposedly, someone will call me tomorrow to schedule the delivery wondow, but I have a feeling I'm going to need to call again tomorrow to follow up. read more

I have the same experience as a previous comment. I ordered a bedroom set and was told that I would be called to schedule a delivery. The only call I received was a call set up a time that day for delivery. This did not work for me so we scheduled for a later date between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. At 10:00 I called and was told that the bed was on the truck and they would be at my house between 10:00 and 12:00 but would call me 1/2 hour in advance. Thinking I had gotten the first time wrong I was ok with that. At 1:00 no delivery, no call. I called again inquiring about my delivery and they knew nothing about it and would call me right back. They did not and after a half hour I called back to check status. Meanwhile I have been waiting all day and have had to cancel my plans for the afternoon. I did speak with Amanda, who originally called me to schedule the delivery. She was not able to find the paperwork and a child was in the background being disruptive. She told me that Matt is the only one who schedules deliveries. Uh, No, she scheduled with me the prior week on the phone. I am all for supporting families and bringing children to work, but I was starting to see a pattern with the lack of communication and disorganization and it might have something to do with distractions at work. Just sayin'! The guys were on their way back to the shop and I am sure that they were counting on heading home so a special delivery was not what they anticipated. When they showed up they took the old bed out and one of them ran into something that was in his way, fortunately it was minor and it was no big deal but he was carless. The only redeeming factor is the main driver, Casey, was great and did some damage control. He was apologetic for the mix-up, was happy to help and was surprised that there was a delivery in Redding because they were on out of town deliveries all day. But a non scheduler scheduled a delivery, then dropped the ball, then didn't take responsibility for it. I think she meant well when she scheduled, but she didn't follow through and it caused a huge ripple affect that affected both the customer and the drivers. read more

I have been waiting for almost 3 weeks for them to contact my former employer in Fairfield to give them a date and time to pick up files I had in my home office. Then suddenly today, someone from the company comes to my door saying they are here to pick up the boxes. I was actually getting ready to leave for a meeting, so I quickly gave them the boxes and then emailed my former employer to let them know and the HR person said oh they just called to say they were sending someone right then. Had I not been home, I would still have been waiting to hear back from someone in regards to setting up a day and time like any normal courier service. read more

Pretty awful service -- missed my delivery date without even telling me the shipment would be late. And then failed to deliver part of the shipment for ten days. I talked to one employee, who admitted that the company is horribly messed up right now, but says they "got rid of the problem", which means someone got fired. Hopefully, they fired the right person, but still, if I can ever avoid Cooper Couriers in the future, I will. read more

Worst company ever. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have been waiting for my furniture to be delivered from them for 2 months. They do not call when they are suppose to to set up a delivery. Then when they finally did set up a delivery, they didn't show up. Glad I took off work for nothing... but don't worry they said they will deliver tomorrow.... I would like to see that happen. I am in McKinleyville, and received two large (200lb+) packages in two seperate deliveries two weeks apart, and both experiences were wonderful! Cooper Courier service contacted me as agreed regarding delivery times and dates for both deliveries. Both times the delivery arrived with agreed times, and both times the drivers were exceptionally helpful and courteous. I am thankful these guys are around to help out with large deliveries in our area! read more

Matt from Cooper Courier agreed to pick up a pallet from another shipping company in Redding and deliver it to Lewiston. He gave me a 4 hour window and agreed to text me if there was any problem. The window came and went and no delivery. Because there is no phone service at the property I emailed Matt, and he responded that he was not able to pick up the pallet (through no fault of his own). I gave one star because he didn't have the courtesy to text or email me in the morning when he found out he couldn't make the delivery. I had to drive into town, make several phone calls and arrange for another company to deliver. read more

Cooper Courier received the furniture to be delivered to my ill son on March 7th due for delivery on March 8th. I called them on March 12th asking why the couch was not delivered. The lady answering the phone had no idea when it would be delivered. We are recommending that the company we purchased the furniture from find a new delivery service. This poor service reflects on them as well, time to change. read more

I never write reviews, but this company has been so unreliable! I ordered a mattress online and the company I ordered it from uses them to deliver. I was told that I would get a phone call to set up delivery and a time. So I waited for that call....that never came. I came home one day at 3 and saw a message left on my door saying they tried to deliver at 2 and I was not home to call and reschedule! I called right away and told them No one had even called me to set up a delivery or time! the girl on the phone just said Oh sorry I don't know I haven't been in the office for a couple day! the guy who sets up appt. for delivery is out he will be back in soon and I will tell him you called..No call back that day! I had a 9:00 appt. the next morning so I called them at 8:30 of course the same girl answered and said no he is not here I will have him call you, so I gave her my cell number to call me....by 9:40 still no phone call from him so I called up there again, she said No he is not here still, I am about to call him to find out what time he is coming to work? seriously??? I asked well is there someone else I can talk to? she said NO, I asked is there any way my mattress will be delivered today? she said she has no idea..I asked has your delivery truck already gone out today? she said I don't know....all I do is answer phones!!!!! What the hell is your job lady???? you answered the phone and can not answer a single question I had! I asked her to please call me back after she calls him to let me know...it's 11:18 still no call from her or him! this company has no customer service! does not care about you or what they are delivering or when they will deliver it to you. I ordered a bedroom set from a store online who uses these guys to deliver and set up their furniture. I was told I would receive a phone call to set up a date and time for delivery. The only call I received was them informing me that they were on their way to my house to deliver. Being as this was the middle of the day on a Tuesday, it didn't exactly work. I called them back and set up an appointment for the next morning between 8-9. When 11:30 rolled around, I called to check on the status. The owner informed me that he had forgotten what day we set. I asked if they could still deliver it later in the day. Matt informed me that they could be at my house by 1:00 pm and take about an hour to set up. It's 2:00 pm now and they sill are not here and no phone call. Terrible customer service and a piss poor way to run a business! Avoid these guys at all cost! read more

I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they lost my mattress the first time. Now that it's happened twice and they've offered no real resolution for the issue, I feel compelled to leave a review. They called me to set up a time for delivery. I wasn't given a choice, they just said they could come on a certain day at the certain time. Wanting my new mattress, I made arrangements for someone to wait at my house for the delivery while I was at work. The four hour delivery window expired, so I called them. They explained that they wouldn't be delivering my mattress after all because they couldn't find it and it never made it on the delivery truck that morning. I asked why they didn't call me so that I didn't have someone waiting for hours for something that was never going to come. They said they tried; oddly my cell phone showed no missed calls. I asked how they were going to rectify this situation. They said they would try to deliver it again in a couple weeks. I told them I shouldn't have to wait another two weeks because of their incompetence and asked if there was something else. He told me he would see about expedited shipping and get back to me. Now it's a day later, they still haven't found my mattress, and they still don't have a plan in place. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

I ordered a vanity from wayfair.when cooper courier delivered it they were in a very big hurry.they scratched my front deck and hardwood floor.then quickly asked me to sign for the delivery before i had realized the damage they had done.after they left i called cooper and they said i had signed off that there was no damage.I emailed photos of the damage to matt he has refused to take responsibility.I will have to go to small claims court read more

Extremely inconsiderate. Sat at a friends house at the time given to help with furniture and they NEVER showed up. When she called the owner Matthew Cooper thought it was funny and laughed. Not realizing he was on speaker phone for 2 others to hear how he runs his crappy business. My friend called furniture company and told them they could keep their furniture if it wasn't delivered in the next hour. My husband and I purchased a bed from JCPenney and Cooper Courier was going to deliver the new bed and dispose of the old one. Sounded great to me. I wish I had known they were going to be the ones delivering or I could've saved myself some time. They called the day before and said they would be delivering between 9-11. I work nights so when I got home at 11pm the night before I got everything ready for the new bed to be delivered and woke up early so I would be ready to receive it. They didn't show up, they called after 11 and said they would be here between 1-2. Still nothing. I called at 3 giving them the benefit of the doubt, stuff happens, maybe they were just running late. I was told that would not be delivering today at all, no eplaination. Come to find out they are located less than 2 miles from where we live. I am beyond annoyed. This is an extremely unprofessionally run business. Almost every time the courier comes into our place of business (quiet office setting) she is on her cell phone loudly gabbing about her personal life drama. When there are ANY changes in their employment or new couriers there is no notification to us. When they changed employees, they simply just did not show up to one of our locations for 5 days.
