No gloves, handled both raw meat and bun with same hand

Lovely concept for a bayside bar, however woman in the food truck was handling both the raw meat and hamburger bun with the same hand. And no gloves used either. We watched her do this for some time as we were sitting nearby. I urge the manager address this then I would happily update my review.

Kitchen closes at 9pm but drinks available all night long! I like coming here for the views, live music, and chilling with family and friends. The eats are mainly fried. I recommend the chicken fingers. Fish tacos are hit or miss. The ambiance is perfect. They have a new parking lot just before you would normally enter. Some chauffeurs and golf carts to take you in and out. You can walk too, but they insist. Not sure what their bathroom is like, but I assume it is basic. Truly a neighborhood gem. Happy eats!

I came here for the very first time on Friday with my friends, and I cannot believe that I had not known about this place before. It's adorably picturesque, being right by the water. And FIRE PITS, like c'mon!!! It's the perfect set up! I had the rocket fuel frozen cocktail, and the spicy cucumber jalapeño cocktail, both were great. I missed the food truck (yes they have a food truck ) by 10 minutes. You bet I will be back!!!!

Oh wow... thought I reviewed this unique and wonderful spot way up on the bay. Perfect place to meet up with friends or just sit back and listen to music. Assorted tables: picnic, fire pits, high tops, Adirondack chairs. Even when it gets crowded, there's a spot where you can see the music On the water, fabulous frozen slushees that will make your everyday woes drift away. Love the Pink Lemonade or the Pomegranate. Food truck/raw bar. Plan on bringing a DD or take an Uber, or else leave your car like we've done.

This outdoor place is beautiful, I'm mainly pointing out the ambience in this review because I've only had the drinks here but not the food. The whole atmosphere reminds me of Montauk, NY, very nautical theme and it's right on the water overlooking all the boats coming in, a gorgeous view in the evening! My only thing was when I came here, I decided to order a cocktail and my boyfriend ordered a spiked Slushie and I was soo blown away by how RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE the drinks were that came in a plastic cup..$40 later for 2 small cocktails...in my opinion that's just crazy!! The next time I come here, I'm bringing my own food and drinks! Again, I really enjoyed the ambiance with the fire pits, Adirondack chairs, couches, all very cozy atmosphere near the water. But the price of the drinks is just dumb lol. I will say the bartenders were very nice and it wasn't busy when I went so it was pretty calm.

...so many options Blues harps for the win!

Is it Cooper Bluff - the venue or is it Blue Roots - the band that keeps us coming back? Three times still remains the charm. Great setting, service, and drinks. Pop up raw bar delighted with a dozen fresh oysters. Two sets from Blue Roots had us all swaying and singing along by nights end. A great find on LI that serves a consistently good time. Sorry to see the season waning!

Beautiful view!!!

Such a beautiful spot!!! It's a perfect place for a quick eat and drink. It's not a fancy place but moreso a chill place to just sit outside and have a drink/snack. We had come here after kayaking and I'm so glad we did. We had two drinks - the frozen lemonade and the mango mojito. Both pretty strong and $13 each. We had also gotten the fish tacos which were tasty for $15. Just the scenery overall made it worth the trip. Staff had even offered to drive us to our car since the parking lot is a little further away. We declined but it was very nice of them to offer. Overall a great experience!!!

Was really looking forward to trying this place out. Wanted to eat on waterfront and this place looked so fun and perfect. We went there tonight , as did a few other people, but unfortunately it was closed . It had rained in the morning and there was prediction of rain all day, but it did not actuality in the afternoon and evening, in fact the sun came out. It didn't say it was closed due to weather on their website. But once we got there, there was a mention on Instagram ! So guess we will have to wait for another opportunity. It looked like a cute and fun spot with great views, great drinks and great food from a food truck .

A quaint New England town where everyone wears boat shoes, drives a Range Rover and can trace their lineage to the Mayflower...sign me up. Add in a dockside bar with frozen blue drinks and I'm sold. The mozz sticks are crunchy and cheesy. The view is great.

Overrated. Food is pretty gross (drunk food) those drinks are just full of sugar. $16 for a Tito's and Diet Coke get out of here.

The room was the perfect size for the party and had a nice nautical theme which we added our own party decor to. I can't say enough about the service. Vanessa was the easiest coordinator to work with planning the event, and did everything she said. She and Jeanne and the other servers at the party kept the drinks flowing, the food coming, and were so nice, it really made the evening. I highly recommend Mill Creek for any event you have or just for a delicious dinner and a fun night out

Serious Food Safety and Communication Concerns…read more Extremely disappointing experience regarding gluten-free food safety. Our waitress, Jean, was informed of a celiac disease diagnosis and initially demonstrated an understanding of cross-contamination. She advised against certain appetizers and recommended substituting filet mignon for the soy-marinated skirt steak in the blackened steak and pasta dish. She confirmed the order was flagged for a gluten allergy and gluten-free pasta was requested. When the meal arrived with rigatoni instead of the usual gluten-free penne, Jean questioned it herself and checked with the kitchen. She returned and confirmed that the pasta was gluten-free. Shortly afterward, Barbara, the front-of-house manager, informed us that the pasta was NOT gluten-free. Jean later explained that the chef, Julio, believed only the steak needed to be gluten-free. This represents a serious breakdown in communication and food safety protocols. Despite clear notification, an allergy flag, and direct confirmation from the kitchen, a gluten-containing meal was served to someone with celiac disease. Management comped the entire check and provided a $100 gift card, which was appreciated. However, compensation does not negate the seriousness of the incident. Celiac disease is a medical condition, not a dietary preference. Restaurants that offer gluten-free accommodations must have reliable procedures in place to ensure customer safety. Unfortunately, this experience raises significant concerns about the restaurant's ability to safely accommodate guests with dietary restrictions.

The Homestead has become our annual spot for celebrating my dad's birthday and a belated Mother's…read moreDay with my mom and grandma. Each time we've come we've been taken great care of. Lisa the bartender and Katie our waitress go above and beyond to make the experience special and make sure we have everything we need to fully enjoy our meals. The interior of this restaurant features an expansive bar with plenty of tables, plus a private party room. Ample parking here is appreciated as well -- hard to come by in the town of Oyster Bay! The menu features elevated pub fare and includes all the staples (think wings, a giant pretzel, plus burgers and sandwiches) along with seafood and steak options if you're in the mood for something a bit fancier. This year we started off with drinks at the bar - my Moscow mule was ice cold and served in a copper mug. Next, we moved on to appetizers. The fried calamari was crispy and fresh, the baked clams were cooked perfectly and served in an incredible sauce that we lapped up with their signature garlic bread (a must order!). The pretzel was warm and fluffy, the tuna tower was fresh and invigorating. The lobster bisque is another must try - served in a fancy bowl with a lid to keep it piping hot. The wedge salad has just the right amount of toppings to lettuce ratio. I was stuffed at this point, but was happy to have half of my French Dip sandwich with impeccably seasoned fries waiting for me the in the refrigerator next morning (had one Moscow mule too many, they were too good).
