Coolspa and Aethos Spa are simply the BEST! Between the two, they've got everything you could ever want from CoolSculpting, microneedling, facials, injectables, skincare treatments, you name it, I've probably had it done here! What really makes this place special is the people, especially Sandra. She's absolutely incredible, not only is she warm, friendly, and genuinely kind, but she also takes the time to explain every step of each procedure in detail. I've never once felt rushed or unsure about anything. She walks you through what to expect before, during, and after your treatment, and she has this calm confidence that instantly makes you feel comfortable. Every visit feels like a luxury experience. The entire staff is incredible kind and friendly. The space is spotless and beautifully designed, the staff is professional yet approachable, and you can tell they're all experts at what they do. Whether I'm coming in for something quick or a full session, I always leave feeling refreshed, confident, and like I've just treated myself to something truly special. If you're thinking about booking, do it. Sandra and the team at Coolspa + Aethos are the best in the business. It's rare to find a place that combines such advanced treatments with such genuine care. I can't recommend them enough! read more

I've been going to the UES 5th Avenue location for a few years and glad they opened this new location downtown. I recently started seeing Martha who has been helping me with my coolsculpting treatments. It's not the most comfortable treatment but Martha is professional and friendly which makes it much more bearable. Martha also goes above and beyond to start early or stay late to accommodate people who have to work during the days. Now I have to wait 2-3 months to see the maximum effects which I am confident in. They have a first time coolsculpting customer special as well. I also got a hydrafacial for the first time which I'd describe as a wet sand blast with different purposes such as a peel or hydration. I think there are 4 types but not sure what they are all. Either way I feel and look better despite the NYC winter. I referred a friend here and they had an equally great experience! read more

I was referred to John McCollum by my good friend. He did lip filler and chin filler on me for the first time and I am very happy with the results! John is extremely thorough and tasteful in his approach. He really listens to what I wanted and was amazing at every visit. Overall, I am thrilled with my results and will definitely be going back in the future :) I HIGHLY recommend John to anyone! read more

I saw Jena and Anastasia for Daxxify and filler. I walked away from the services extremely happy with the results! Both were so sweet and knowledgeable and there was very little discomfort. I will definitely be returning to Coolspa for treatments. read more

I have been a Coolspa's client for several years now, and I cannot praise enough their team. Everyone is very polite, pays attention to the details and ensures that I have only the best possible experience. I am especially grateful to Elli who I have been working with for several months now. She has been an exceptional provider! She works hard to make sure that I obtain only the best results from the procedures I choose. Due to her magical touch and tireless efforts, I see a lot of positive transformations which I am very happy about. read more

I did four applicator for my lower abdomen and only after 3 weeks the results really started to show. I am very pleased with the result and my experience at Coolspa. I had chin lipo and facetite with Dr. Rapaport and am LOVING the results. I feel like me again! During my follow up, I met with Jena, one of the nurse injectors, for a botox consult and we treated the 11's and crows feet and everything looks SO good! Overall, I am thrilled with my results and will definitely be going back in the future :) read more

I went in for one Coolsculpting treatment. In the follow-up visit I met with Dr. Rappaport for the first time. Upon examination he said that based on the type of fat I have that I would not be a good candidate for Coolsculpting. It just wouldn't be effective. This is after I had paid for the first treatment. He was willing to to apply the payment I had already for Coolsculpting to a new treatment using lipo , but that's not what I want to do. I shouldn't have been green lighted to get the Coolsculping treatment to begin with and really they should just refund me the money. This is a warning to everyone. Under no circumstances should you proceed with Coolsculpting without insisting on a preliminary evaluation with the doctor. Don't settle for being seen by a tech. read more

Fantastic experience and INCREDIBLE result from Coolsculpt. They offer video consults which are fast and easy. I did my flanks and lower abdomen- within 3 weeks there was a noticeable difference, and by 8 weeks I went down an entire waist size. I am a physician assistant, and I work in cosmetic dermatology, so I was skeptical about how well something so minimally invasive could create a legitimate result. I would recommend Coolsculpt to ANYone, especially for those tough pockets of fat that are impossible to workout or diet away. The office is clean, staff is professional, Dawn was fantastic. I can't wait to do other areas! read more

I've never had a better experience in my life - I went for a last minute facial before my wedding, and they had the lightest touch - my skin felt beyond refreshed and rejuvenated, and because of Coolspa, I was GLOWING on my wedding day, both inside and out! This office has the most attentive and courteous staff, and make sure everyone is comfortable - it was such a delight to see! From what I hear, all their services are amazing! If you're in the market for anything they do- go to CoolSpa!! read more

I tried CoolSculpting for the first time at Coolspa and it was great! Ewa was extremely knowledgeable and talked me through the whole proces. She even put together a package combining CoolSculpting and skin tightening to address all of my needs. After just one session, I am loving my results so I will definitely be back. My second treatment that I was absolutely amazed by was Morpheus 8. I did one treatment so far and I must say I can see the difference in my skin texture and firmness. I can't wait for my next two treatments. Highly recommend Ewa for all treatments! Her long experience shows it all! You will be in good hands for sure! read more

travelled to NY to get a little something done and couldn't be happier with the results. The entire CoolSpa team was amazing. Apparently this is a new office for them but everything went really smoothly and they did a good job of walking me through the process. 5 stars! read more

This place is great - the med spa manager was really great and the entire team couldn't have been better. Best part of the entire treatment was definitely the end result, I was in and out and everything went exactly they said - 5 stars for sure read more

I initially went to Dr. Rapaport's and Dr. Smith's office for a CoolSpa consult. When it turned out that the procedure wasn't ideal for me, I inquired about the well reviewed vein treatments, which I had been delaying doing for my legs. Needless to say, deciding to have my legs treated in the clinic was one of the best medical decisions I have made in a while. Tamara, whom I met during my consult with Dr. Smith, was the specialist with whom I worked during the four month procedure. I can count on one hand the medical specialists with whom I have worked that I recommend and refer to without pause. Tamara is one of those people. Fact. I cannot recommend this procedure or Tamara any higher. read more

Couldn't have been happier with the results! While I work out 8-10hrs per week, I had a stubborn abdominal area that coolsculpting was able to significantly flatten out. The team at coolspa was great at explaining the procedure and guidance on maximizing the results. read more

I had coolsculpting done on my belly back in October, 2020. I'm over weight and a diabetic. I hoped that the treatment would help me medically. I paid $5,000.00. During the following 3 weeks I was in pain on and off and called the office several times complaining of pain. I was eventually sent medication. They say this pain doesn't happen to everyone but I was unlucky. My expectations were reasonable but I did think that the procedure would work to some extent. I hoped to loose a couple of inches. I went back to Coolspa after 2 months, in late Dececember, 2020. Unfortunately for me the procedure did not work at all. I was told that because of my weight I would need to have another procedure done which I agreed to, until they said I had to pay another $5,000.00! Unless you have money to burn I suggest going back to diet and exercise. read more

I've been a very happy patient of Coolspa and Dr. Rapaport for several years because of their expertise and consistently excellent results. When I was able to get back in for treatments after the restrictions were lifted, I was comforted and impressed by their ability to seamlessly insert Covid-19 safety protocols, yet maintain a warm and welcoming environment. They keep me looking and feeling like my best self, and I am very thankful for that! They only implement treatments that have been backed by science, and that will work for the individual and their concerns. read more

The entire experience at Coolspa was wonderful! At the very first visit, I was taken back within minutes of arriving in the office. I met with Dawn, who drew out the contours on my body and then discussed the procedure. It seemed like it was going to be good for me, so I scheduled the procedure visit. I also met with John at that visit to go over financing options and scheduling, and he was extremely helpful and down to earth. At the procedure visit, Dawn redrew all of the contours and went over all of the side effects in detail. The procedure itself is a bit uncomfortable as expected. For the first few minutes, the sensation stings a bit, but once the freezing happens, everything goes numb. Taking off the applicators is also uncomfortable, but this is only momentary. After the procedure, I was definitely very sore. It was hard to bend over, and when walking, I felt like I had a blubbery belly that was jiggling all around (just because of the swelling). The soreness gradually improved and went away after about 2 weeks. The numbness took a long time to improve, was very numb for the first month, and then gradually improved. I still have mild numbness about 3 months out but doesn't bother me as much now. I can notice that there is a slight difference from the skin that didn't have the applicators, but it is not painful or sore. The results were at first difficult to notice because I was looking at the mirror nearly daily (and also because the belly was so swollen immediately after the treatment), but when I went in for my follow-up, the results looked great when comparing the before and after photos. Particularly with respect to the love handles, these had improved significantly, with an improvement (though less dramatic) also in my abdomen. Overall, the staff at Coolspa are kind, informative, professional, and helpful, and I would definitely recommend them! read more

Dr. Rapaport and Dr. Smith have always been very professional and polite. Same goes for their staff. Everyone had been a pleasure to be around and didn't have any issues with anything. I had gotten the Miradry procedure done and saw great results immediately when I started working out again. Took a picture two weeks after the procedure that shows the lack of sweat under my armpits after a long workout. Dr. Rapaport and his team delivered! read more

I love coolspa! Dawn is amazing and so is Samantha (the concierge).I love coming here since they are SO helpful.

Great place to visit , friendly and clean . The spa manager was great . I recommend booking an appointment here

I have been going to Coolspa for a while now and see Ewa for all of my treatments. It is the BEST med spa experience I have ever had and I've lived in NYC for over 20 years. Not only is Ewa a skilled professional who executes each treatment meticulously, I'm constantly amazed at how knowledgeable she is about all of the existing and newer treatments; she often shares the science behind why something will or won't work for a particular concern and can recommend an alternative or combination of treatments to ensure you achieve the ultimate results. When you're getting something done that is so personal and impacts the way you feel everyday, it's really important that the esthetician care about the process, the results, and the well-being of their clients - Ewa is that person and I trust her completely. My results have been fantastic and I couldn't recommend Coolspa and Ewa enough! read more

This was was the most horrifying experience so far in my life. They suggested the Morpheus 8 for skin tightening for my arms because of my loose skin. It has been 4 days and I have frightening bruises all over my arms. I was never informed that this could be the side effect. They never targeted areas of actually bad loose skin, only areas where it was less necessary. They also left me there alone for 1 hour maybe for their lunch break. There was barely any follow up after I informed them of my condition. It seemed like they should have decreased the settings during the procedure when they saw the bruising was developing. I had made them aware of an upcoming wedding that I had to attend and still no warning that these bruises might occur. To add insult to injury I had to pay a very high price for the creams meant to soothe the skin. I do not recommend this place if you care about your skin! read more

Cool sculpting doesn't work. Didn't make any difference at all for any of the places I treated- stomach, arms, legs etc. Plus it hurt like crazy- like putting your skin in a vice and feeling it squeeze. If something sounds too good to be true it probably is. Huge waste of money. I'm not sure why it has any good reviews at all- it's possible ppl who want to tell the truth are intimidated because staff members respond to all these reviews which I find a little messed up. Save your money and get a trainer or something instead! That at least has a chance of working. **Update in response to the comment below because I can't respond directly. I find it disturbing, uncomfortable, and frankly revolting that you would try to discredit my review by saying I didn't follow up with you. I didn't follow up with you because coolsculpting did not work for me and I'm pretty sure it's a scam. You also looked me up and called me on the phone after I posted the review which is really inappropriate and I did not ask for that. I think I made it pretty clear that I think commenting on everyone's reviews is shady and intimidating in the first place and you took it even further than that. You claim you respond to everyone's reviews because "engaging with your patients and providing support is important to you." That's a brilliantly slick way of trying to publicly discredit people's negative reviews of your business. You point by point tried to dismantle and disprove everything I said about my treatment saying that you and your patients had a different experience. Yelp isn't about your experience. Save it for your website. Yelp is for honest feedback from impartial people. You work there of course you're going to say it works and it's painless. I got hit by a car and that was less painful than coolsculpting was. And no it absolutely doesn't work. I was a fool to think it would make any difference at all. It's pretty clear to me that the procedure encourages people to add on dieting and exercise to further their goals and then they assume the weight loss was due to the procedure. Do not call my number anymore or I will block and report you and I'm asking that you stop commenting on my review or I will keep updating it on here and other platforms. I don't want other people to fall victim to this scam and I'm not going to let you intimidate me. read more

I highly recommend this office for any procedure. John who runs the front desk operations is the best. He is extremely professional and will do everything in his power to go above and beyond. The back office staff is great including the doctors who operate the practice. You never will feel pressured. You are informed of every step of the process as it happens. Your comfort is a priority. I just got the miraDry procedure and so thankful I came here. Its worth the drive if you are coming far from Long Island. read more

It's been 9 weeks since The consul. First off the procedure hurts. I felt my skin was just stretched and aches. Not dissimilar to end term pregnancy. The team made it sound like I'd bounce back into my normal rhythm in a few days. They exaggerated this detail. I felt like crap for 3 weeks and did not go to the gym. I'm a ClassPass fanatic and did not make it to any class for 3 weeks. 3000$ later I'm the same weight and stomachs area hasn't altered a bit. They gave me no answers or solution at the last post treatment. read more

I am a 30 year old guy and did the Coolsculpting treatment for my chest. I highly recommend it! Not only were the results very noticeable within the projected time period but the treatment itself was very easy and the recovery even easier. There may have been 10 minutes of discomfort during the 1hr treatment but the rest was easy. Additionally, there is no restrictions on what you can do after the treatment. I was able to play tennis and golf within 2 days of the treatment without any setbacks. Lastly, the people working there were very informative and helpful throughout the process. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

I can only say good things about the staff and doctors at Coolspa. The Practice Manager John invited me for a consultation for Coolsculpting to treat some stubborn areas I have been conscious about. This is a fantastic practice, professional, experienced, they listen and recommend what is best for you. I have done CoolTone and CoolSculpting, great experience all around, great results from both, brand new equipment, very comfortable, timely, and they were also very accommodating of my busy schedule. I have to mention Dawn who is wonderful, she is highly experienced, so professional, thorough, attentive, and caring. It is also great to know that the doctor is there if you have any questions. I have been to other good practices for similar treatments in NYC, but Coolspa experience is definitely my favorite. I am looking forward to upcoming new innovative treatments, I am planning to keep going and highly recommend to anyone. read more
