When the repair guy told me there was no warranty on the work because my AC was so old, I knew it was time to stop throwing money at it and replace the whole thing. I started calling around and getting quotes from several HVAC companies. Surprisingly, the pricing was all pretty similar. The big difference was the equipment. A lot of the companies were quoting brands I either hadn't heard of or didn't have much confidence in. Evolution was the only company I spoke with that was using American Standard and really stood behind the quality of the equipment they were installing. That ultimately made the decision for me. The entire process with Evolution was professional and easy. They showed up, got to work, and had the full installation completed in about 5 to 6 hours. I was expecting the house to be without AC most of the day, but they got everything done much faster than I expected. We've had the new system running and love it. The first thing we noticed was how QUIET it is. Our old condenser was so loud that you always knew when it kicked on. With the new one, I sometimes have to actually listen for it to make sure it's running. Replacing an entire AC system is not exactly something anyone gets excited about spending money on, but if I had to do it, I'm glad I went with Evolution. His professional and pleasant manner along with a low-key, no pressure approach was much appreciated and made our decision making process easy. Well detailed estimates made it straightforward to analyze various options and pick the solution right for our needs. First was the removal of our old 1970's existing ductwork in the attic and installation of a new R-6 rated flex ducting system complete with new supply air vents and return intake and balancing dampers. The new ducting was securely hung and strapped in place in the attic. Our 27 year old Carrier condenser was removed and replaced with a high efficiency AC Pro 4 ton, two-stage variable speed 21 SEER2 unit as was the furnace, replaced with an AC Pro A-series, two stage variable speed unit. The installation crew, Luis, Carlos and Manny were truly top notch, working in a courteous and professional manner to complete the installation, testing and startup in quick order. It was apparent from the start that these guys were well qualified installers who worked together as a cohesive team to get the job done with minimal downtime. Miles @ Jerry's Plumbing took care of me with replacing our faulty pressure reducing valve and…read moreinstalling a water softener and whole home water filter. He was extremely honest and professional, keeping me informed every step of the way during the install and making sure that I approved things such as placement of the water filter/softener system, how I wanted the lines ran, and even went above and beyond to tie the drain into my house's sewage system so that it looked as clean as possible. Most other plumbers I called wanted to run the drain for the system across the entire garage to tie into my laundry drain, but Miles took one look and said he could do one better than that. For our pressure reducing valve, the original one was soldered on without any way to replace it except by cutting the copper piping on both ends. Before installing the new replacement valve, Miles made sure to install unions on both ends of the pipe so that in the future, if I ever needed to replace it again, I could easily do it myself without having to call a plumber. Out of all the plumbers I contacted for estimates, Jerry's plumbing was the most honest company, providing the best pricing, while offering (in my opinion) the cleanest workmanship. Overall I'm am extremely happy and will definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs.

Don't think twice; just hire Southwest!…read more Our AC was leaking water in our attic and several vendors came out to diagnose. All of the basic fixes failed, and they all said we needed a full replacement. We gave Southwest a call for one last opinion based on a friend's recommendation, and Erick saved us. He spent 2+ hours in our sweltering attic troubleshooting every possible issue, until he found a quirk in our condensate drainage that no one else figured out. Once he accounted for that, it was quick work to purge our line and clear a clog that was responsible for the overflow in our attic. He knew we were resigned to replace the AC and easily could have told us the same. But he worked extra hard on our behalf, provided an affordable fix, and stayed longer to clean up the shoddy work from the past vendors. Admittedly it took a little longer to get Southwest out to our home, but I now know it's because they're going to take their time and really solve your problem. Not just rush through the call and upsell you on work you don't need. Heroes.
