The first quoted me an absolutely ridiculous price that would have cost an arm and a leg. The second guy offered to do it for cheap but he couldn't figure out the issue so he just disappeared and never showed up. Kevin and Milo came in and had to clean up the mess left by the previous contractor, then thoroughly tested all the zoning, dampers, and zoning board to actually diagnose what was going on. Not only did they figure out the real issue, they fixed everything completely and at a very fair price. On top of that, Kevin noticed my thermostat wasn't functioning properly and replaced it on the spot, explaining exactly why it was causing problems. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and clearly knows this stuff inside and out, but what I really appreciated was how he explained everything in a way that actually made sense. No pressure, no sales pitch -- just honest options, estimated costs, and pros and cons for each path forward. And a huge cherry on top: they cleaned up extremely well afterward. Given the mess that had been left behind before, this really stood out to me. Everything was left neat and organized, and they made sure the area looked better than when they arrived. That level of professionalism and respect for your home goes a long way. We called a first expert, who told us there was an issue with our Carrier system, and since he's not familiar with this particular thermostat, he couldn't help us. We then called Honorable Air. We called and described the issue, letting the recipient know we needed someone familiar with Carrier systems, and gave them the make/model of our system. They informed us that someone would come out and help us on Monday between 9-12 AM. Jeremy came and helped us out. It turned out to be a condenser pan filled with water. He helped us drain the water and troubleshoot the source, and it only cost us $230 for an hour if time and some minimal labor. Very satisfied with his help!
