They produce a 'ton' of bagels which are okay but definitely not the NYC chewy bagel style you get in bagel shop. The bakery area is a different story. First thing that hits you is that amazing baked goods smell. That is quickly followed by a pleasant greeting from the owners. Definitely taking pride in their place. They gave good recommendations. I went with the Americano that featured the Guatemalan coffee beans and added a cookie and a sweet roll. The coffee was excellent, smooth and flavorful. Enjoyed both baked goods for dessert later in the evening, very fresh and not overly sweet. Will certainly return to Ixchel!
