And, I've probably bought stuff here twice per year, every year, for the last 20 years. Sign up for their mailing list and you'll get coupons in Spring and Fall. If you want something for your yard, they likely have it. If you don't see it or aren't sure, just ask. They sell shrubs, trees, veggies, herbs, annuals, perennials, mulch, topsoil, pots and planters and they even have chicken and duck eggs in refrigerators in the main building. Parking is a little funny here. I suggest going on weekdays or off hours. Otherwise, there's some right on the main road and the overflow is off the side street. Happy gardening - it's good for you!

It was our first time having cider, so we decided to go with the flights. It is definitely an acquired taste. Surprisingly, espresso was our favorite flavor. We also tried their original and a few fruity flavors. It was sad to see that the neighbors near by did not support this local farms events. There was a small stage area that could have been used for music or entertainers. Unfortunatlely, when we visited, no performers were allowed, and there was a petition to get the town to allow them to have the entertainment back. We really hope that on our next visit, the brewery is allowed to hold their entertainment!

When the tour buses arrive, the atmosphere can start to feel more like a tourist attraction than the laid-back orchard it once was. I think limiting attendance a bit during peak times would create a more enjoyable experience for everyone. I'm also not a big fan of having to rent the sidelines, as it adds to that commercialized feel instead of the relaxed winery atmosphere that many people are looking for. They were flavorful, refreshing, and completely changed my opinion on cider. The atmosphere is awesome, too. They have indoor seating, plus a huge outdoor space where you can bring your own chairs or blankets. There are lawn games, and they host rotating food pop-ups. When we visited, it was a pizza vendor. The Grounds are a series of mostly nineteenth and 20th century buildings which were improved and expanded upon as the winery's business and clientele grew. The tour and tasting were incredibly affordable at only $25 per-person and definitely worth the cost with an average of 5 glasses of wine and an hour long tour. That said, a couple of things could be improved upon. Firstly, our guide could have spoken much louder as we had a large group and certain factoids were difficult to hear. Secondly, the majority of the tour takes place underground in their active and historic cellars which, sadly, smell quite strongly of mold. Finally, the wine tasting was conducted without a glass of water to cleanse our palates. Instead, we were provided with a rather skint packet of oyster crackers. Despite the few shortcomings; the grounds and above-ground areas are well-organized, clean, and well-maintaned. The staff are courteous and the wines sampled were excellent, I even purchased a few bottles to take home. I hope to return another time when there are different wines in rotation! Good show!
