This is a cute little shop in a Benbrook shopping center that has stores and restaurants. We came here after having brunch for something sweet. If you like edible cookie dough, this is the place to come. They have a pretty big selection. I came for the ice cream, and unfortunately, that selection is not nearly as wide. They didn't even have vanilla. I got the Graham cracker option it was ok but super sweet. I did appreciate that they let me taste a sample. In small quantities it was good so I got a cup. After eating more of it, there were some spots that were super sweet. It may have had cookie dough in it, but I'm not sure. My husband got a cookie, but I think they normally use them for a cookie dough cookie sandwich because the lady who worked there mentioned that she had never sold a cookie by itself. I'm glad that this place is nearby. The interior of the place is bright and cheery. I love that you can sample as many flavors as you want. I had a scoop of butter pecan icecream with a scoop of cookie dough in a waffle bowl. The bowl was yummy, with the cookie dough and icecream. However, the combination was a lot, so I'll go with a scoop of either icecream or do a scoop of cookie dough in a waffle bowl. Cake batter is delicious taste exactly like pillsbury confetti cake. Chocolate chip has a coffee taste to it rather than cookie dough!!! Sometimes when I purchase the pint size there's is a plastic after taste. I'm sure it's from the packaging because the cup size never have a off putting taste. Cute, small, clean. I love cookie dough but wanted something small today. I got a brownie batter pop. They are similar to cake pops but filled with dough or batter instead. It was of course super sweet and rich. The filling didn't taste like brown batter. It had more of a maple flavor? It was light in color more so then the brown batter I have had. This treat is tasty and gooey. There are lots of different options and flavors. They have gluten free and vegan options. I tried one of their best sellers, the chocolate chip cookie dough. I really wanted edible cookie dough so we found this place on the map to try. It's a little hard to find in the parking lot. The sign is hard to see and it's on the side of the building between another building. They had lots of options though and we got to sample a bunch. I really wanted classic chocolate chip cookie dough but my sample wasn't really what I was wanting and had a different texture. I ended up getting red velvet because it had more of a classic cookie dough flavor. My husband paid and he said there was no option for a custom tip or for no tip at all. Kind of a bummer but we intended to still leave a tip because she was very helpful and nice. We have tried other cookie dough places and they didn't have as many options but they tasted a little better. It would be nice if they had lids for the cups so you can finish it later if you need to. We needed some because we got so full. The other cookie dough places we have been to had lids available. Would still go back as i love cookie dough and there's so many options. read more

I didn't like any of the cookie dough I tried there. It's all incredibly sweet and the texture was weird to me. I ended up getting ice cream from there and that was good. I'm thinking it's like ice cream cookie dough, but this is straight up cookie dough in different flavors. You get it in a cup or a cone. My cone was stale. The cookie dough was good. It was sooo sweet. Way too sweet. Even my kids complained about it being too sweet and they love sweets. I could only eat a couple of bites. Almost 5 hours later, and my stomach is still killing me. I doubt I will ever come back. I'd give it 2 stars cuz my stomach hurts, but I'll give a 3. Yes, it's straight cookie dough but without the egg (one flavor has egg in it if you're into that). Thanks, cause who wants salmonella? There are so many flavors and so many different ways to eat it. We tried this cookie dough place on Saturday night because we were craving cookie dough after the place we used to go to closed during the pandemic. Cookie Dough Bliss is in Waterside where there are lots of other restaurants and shops so it's a cute area. The shop itself was bright and clean. Biggest positive is that they had a ton of flavors which was nice as there was a little something for everyone. They also had ice cream as well so you could combine cookie dough and ice cream or get a milkshake. The only downside is the texture of this cookie dough is much softer and stickier than the place we used to go to. I wouldn't say it was bad, just different and some of us liked it better than others. It also had a bit of a tangy aftertaste which was more noticeable or not depending on the flavor. Hubby got sugar cookie which didn't have much other flavor so it was most noticeable in his. I got cake batter which was good but still had a little bit of the aftertaste, and then my son got the snickerdoodle which was the best of all and thankfully what we got some of to take home. I would come back again but it's definitely a little different so if you are someone that doesn't necessarily like different textures, this may not be for you. read more
