THEY HAVE THE DUBAI BAR! (As of December 2024) After craving the delicious Tik Tok famous chocolate bar for months, Chocolate Hangover came to my rescue haha. It was a wonderful gourmet experience of pistachio, texture, and thick smooth milk chocolate. I would 100% recommend them if you are dying to try the Dubai bar, rather than ordering from a random website. The worker inside was also super helpful and sweet which always add to the experience! oh wow. everything looks so good. I came here because I had read that they have the viral Dubai chocolate bar. And yes they do. And it is quite delicious. I am so glad I stopped by and got it here rather than trying to get it via mail-order on Etsy or some where very questionable. This place is hidden on the side of building along Main Street. In fact, I stumbled upon it by accident. Chocolate Moonshine is a cute, tiny little boutique chocolate shop. It's got a creative moonshine theme throughout, with several chocolates that have the flavor and/or real liquor in them. You can sample practically everything! Prices are a little higher than I was imagining. The chocolates are hand crafted, so that's got to make up it! I got a four pack of the chocolate truffle bars ($12). I sampled several different ones before making my final selection. There are so many flavors to choose from, it was hard to pick just 4. They all have colorful paint-like designs on them, very pretty. I went with coconut, dark chocolate, orange, and mint. While their chocolates are good, the flavors were way too subtle. I could barley taste the orange and coconut flavors. I was told that the fudge has much stronger flavoring, especially the ones made with liquor. I did sample one and I can agree with that statement. Next time I will be bringing home some fudge! *They also offer chocolate babysitting, if you're planing on walking around in this Texas heat. During a recent road trip, I met up with a friend and we wandered up and down Main Street in Grapevine. We stumbled upon this little shop and were smitten with the whole experience. The owner, Jennifer, immediately welcomed us to the shop and offered us samples of the chocolate and fudge. As someone who works with chocolate, I know how challenging it is to nail the texture, flavor, and color that her chocolatier achieves. Everything was delicious and I really liked all the unique choices. However, our favorite part of the visit was the freezer of boozy chocolate pops! We got a couple of them to enjoy while we browsed the shop and they were so delicious. You'd probably have to consume quite a few of them to have them impair you in any way, but they are really refreshing on a hot day. It was definitely worth the visit and I would be happy to return if I'm ever passing through Grapevine again. read more

A very cute shop on Main Street Grapevine. It's tucked to the side of the building that the farmers market & Judy pies is on. There is a small lot for this building, that can fill up quick but Main Street has quite a bit of public lots that you can park & walk. (Pro tip: The Methodist church nearby is usually great about allowing people park there when it's super busy in that area.) The shop is cute but small, lucky it was only myself & one other customer in the store with the employee working at the time ... I'm not a big crowd person in general terms. The other customer sounded like a first time customer like myself, she being helped when I came in getting a large order for someone's special 21 birthday, & the employees seemed amazing when suggesting flavors and giving samples. Based on how they were being helped I seemed excited to give them a try! When the other customer decided to look at coffee and she asked for the employee to go ahead & get me taken care of while she continued to look which was very kind of her. Unfortunately the employee while still friendly seemed to kinda want to get me taken care of quickly so she could get back to the other customer, to help her pick out coffee, sense she was already making a large order/sale. So even though I was new and wasn't sure what to get I just got a 4 pack of what seemed to be their main product & moved on. Luckily the items I got were amazing. I'm not even sure what the items were called but they were like truffles that are long almost rectangular. There are other items I'll like to go back and try but I may have a more vocal person with me to ask questions next time. read more

The woman behind the counter was very friendly and encouraged me to try a sample of their fudge. I love that the fudge has lower sugar content and it was very smooth and tasty. I ended up purchasing some fudge as well. I couldn't wait to try the viral chocolate bar, so I opened it as soon as I got in the car. It was scrumptious! I couldn't stop eating it. Love love love this place ! This is the second time we've come in and let me just say the new location is wonderful it's so perfect welcoming and relaxed. The couple that owns this is so sweet (pun intended) as soon as you walk in it's like you're walking into a friends house they're happy to talk to you about their wonderful product and let you sample anything you're interested in. Well, I found it here. They have these special tube link chocolates in a variety of flavors including java... I became addicted to their coffee flavored candy. Other chocolate has officially been ruined for me. I will never be able to eat other chocolate again. My soul has been soothed by the incredible textures and rich flavors of Chocolate Moonshine's truffle bars. I found this place by complete accident- a friend of mine stopped in during an outing and purchased a few of the bars. We went in later to pick my chocolate up from chocolate daycare, and needless to say I fell completely and totally in love. The owner is one of the nicest, kindest people you'll ever meet. She let us sample tons of the truffles and some of the fudge, as well. To start- the orange creamsicle fudge was delicious and sweet. The orange didn't taste artificial and was the right balance of orange and cream, which was a very pleasant surprise. It didn't end up being what I purchased, only because I tend to burn out on fudge pretty quickly. The truffles, though. I don't know that I have ever been so in love in my life. Goodbye, other chocolate. These truffles are smooth and rich, with the perfect balance between the dark chocolate and flavor. In all of the differently-flavored chocolates, you get the unique notes. My personal favorites were the orange one- chocolate and orange is always a delicious combination, and this was no exception. Like the fudge it was perfectly sweet without being artificial tasting. The cherry truffle was surprisingly good- again, you get that prominent and rich dark chocolate flavor, with an almost wine-like rich cherry following on the afternotes. I'm not typically a cherry fan, but this one was incredibly delicious, enough that I would eat it again. The real star is the cranberry-pomegranate. Pomegranate to me is the go-to fruit to mix with dark chocolate, and this one holds up. I'd asked to swap one of my bars for the cranberry-pomegranate (since the chocolate hadn't left the store, the owner was more than willing to switch for us- what an angel!), but she wanted me to try it first. It can be hit or miss for people, which I understand, I do. But when I tried this one, the love was immediate. This is a very subtle pomegranate, brightened up by the tart notes of the cranberry to make it stronger against the dark chocolate, and wow. You really distinctly taste the pomegranate flavors in this one- so much so that I got two of these. This doesn't even touch on how stunningly beautiful the truffles are. Each one is a long bar, and you can get four of these hand-painted bars for twelve bucks each. That's a STEAL for the love and work that clearly goes into the creation of these things. I live a good ways away from Grapevine, but I might start making special trips out that way just to pick up some of these incredible chocolates. I've hidden them away from my family and am not telling them I have any, just so I don't have to share. read more

I went chocolate hunting to get my wife some high quality truffles. I did not want to go to the chain stores like 'Godiva' or 'Lindt' to get the chocolate as I personally believe that high quality chocolates ONLY come from private chocolate shops! I drove from Plano to get fudge for a gift for one of my bosses because I wanted something unique. I got some fudge for myself too. The space is tiny, a little hard to find, and it was a crowded the weekend before Christmas and there was no way to keep 6 feet of space in such a tiny space. Other customers were breathing down my neck. But aside from that the fudge was a major disappointment. I didn't eat it right away and maybe that is why. I tried it 4 days later and it was hard as a rock. I have other fudge that can sit around a week or longer and still be soft. I don't know if I got bad flavors or what. I got the maple bacon and got some of the alcoholic flavors for my boss. He said it was good but I have to believe he was just being nice. Delicious, beautiful chocolate. I first got a taste of their chocolate at the Pinterest fair, and I was hooked! Not only are their chocolate bars a work of art, they also taste heavenly. They have tons of flavors: mojito, amaretto, moonshine(my fav), birthday cake, raspberry, etc. So many flavors to choose from, and they give you samples so you can find your new favorite flavor.
