Walk in.
Registration on the right (avoid at all costs, just go straight upstairs to the clinic you're visiting, and deal with the ladies up there) The ladies at registration downstairs are rude.
I'm a single mom, working 3 jobs, can't even barely feed my kids right now. Not trying to be woe is me, but those are the facts, and it's also no one's problem but my own, i get that.
So, i don't want special treatment, or pity, just someone to work with me a little. Had they of looked at all of his previous payments, they have all been paid in full, so, it's not like we don't pay, or have a history of not paying.
So, i get up to registration, and I'm like "i only have $20 in my account right now, can i give you the $20 and have my ex call to pay the rest?" She said all rude "Nope, we can't do that, it has to be paid in full". Um actually that's false, because I've made half payment before, then called to make the other half. I told her "that's not true, i did it last time with no problem". So, I'm irritated. I also am panicking on how I'm going to buy groceries this week, and take care of me and my kids basic needs. While having to pay a $70 co pay. My insurance requires a $60 co pay for specialists, so no idea where the extra $10 appeared from.
I went to the other lady, i said "just take my payment please" and she kept trying to talk to me, and i said "please just stop talking to me right now"----I was getting furious, to prevent me losing it, i just put up a boundary "do not talk to me right now please" i said it several times, and she kept just talking over me, if someone asks you to do something, and is putting up a boundary, you should probably just respect it.
Cold hearted, disrespectful is what the two front desk ladies were today, and I'm not ever stopping by the front again, i will go straight to the clinic my sons appt is at.
Besides those women, i absolutely love everyone else here.
So, the doctors and the medical staff are phenomenal 5/5, i feel like they go above an beyond.
The blonde lady, and the Asian lady at the front, i will avoid at all costs.
You don't need to talk to people the way they did, and also, when I've been coming here for months and have never had issues with pay, or missed a payment, don't tell me I'm wrong, you don't talk to patients/parents that way.
I'm in customer service, and i would never tell a customer "no, you're wrong" when i literally have their chart in front seeing no accumulating payments.
Also, respecting peoples boundaries. If I'm going to flip out, i need to pause, when someone asks you politely to stop talk to them, you probably should respect that boundary. Instead of arguing with them, the opposite of what you're supposed to do in life.
Also, i never thought I'd be one of those mask people, but masks are no longer mandatory in the state of Texas, you cannot force someone to wear a mask, the law is i can choose weather or not i want to wear one. And I'm sorry, my kid has asthma and can't breathe with a mask on his face, so you can feel free to cram the mask thing down my throat. But at the end of the day "my body, my choice" and if i chose to not let my asthmatic kid not wear his mask, so he can breathe, sorry, not sorry.
The lady at the front desk was yelling "MAAM MASKS ARE TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES" Karen it's almost 2023, if you don't have the intelligence to understand that masks do not protect you from covid, then i don't know how far you're going to get in life, because it's pretty basic common sense. Masks are for sanitary purposes during surgery etc.
