On Friday evening, September 01, 2018, three-row houses were hit by lighting. My home was at the center and suffered the worst electrical damage. I am a former military officer, and currently a civilian working for an international organization. I am also a single parent and a student. Nothing can prepare you for when lightning strikes, or any other natural disaster. We were without electric, A/C, and faced with significant damage. The fire department and the homeowner association were helpful, as way USAA. But nothing compared to the service my family received on a holiday weekend (Labor Day) with temperatures in the 90's. My neighbors called Conyers Electrical the next morning, Cody Tinkham answered, and within an hour Eric Roberts, electrician technician, was on site. He looked at all three homes and restored electricity by the end of the day. Eric was exceptionally competent and respectful. He discovered that my A/C was damaged in the surge, we called Cody Tinkham on a Saturday afternoon, Labor Day Weekend, and Cody was able to send Lincoln Dyar to service the A/C. The damage was severe; we had to wait until Tuesday for repair. However, Lincoln drove to Home Depot and purchased a portable air conditioner to rent us for my kids to stay cool. Another interaction with Conyers personnel that mirrored the first - kind, on time, communicative, respectful, and knowledgeable. First thing Tuesday morning, I received a call from Conyer's Matt Patterson, both he and Lincoln Dyan were available. They worked very hard over hours on end, to isolate the damage. Both Matt's and Lincoln's attention to detail was noted, I worked at my desk while these two worked in tandem. And then it hit me, the cool breeze of my a/c blowing through my humid and hot home, Conyers restored my unit. It is rare that I post reviews, I am a private person. However, I must share this experience and the support provided to me in this situation. I recommend Conyer's Electrical to anyone who takes the time to read this review. Knowledgeable, Helpful, Fair, and Kind. We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Conyer's Electrical. We called and texted at 10 PM during a winter storm because our electrical panel was making loud noises. Steve, the owner, called us back promptly to say he was on the way. He stayed at our house until almost midnight, looking at every issue. He calmly and confidently took the time to listen to our concerns, explain what happened, educate us on what needed to be done, and ensure our family's safety for the evening. His team rush ordered the parts and had a new electrical panel installed in our house a few days later. The technicians who performed the install were experienced, professional and efficient. We have had issues with our A/C unit on and off for the past two years. Recently, it started leaking huge amounts of water into our garage. We were told that it was an absolute necessity that our unit be completely replaced (which we knew was inevitable anyway). Steve not only replaced our unit completely, but worked through less than desirable conditions to ensure we didn't go more than one day without A/C in our home. During the replacement it was he also discovered damage to our old unit that had been caused by our landscaping company. Within an hour he had the owner of the landscaping company on our property to examine the damage and come to a resolution. We were referred to Conyers a few years ago through our homeowners insurance and they knocked it out of the park yet again today. They will definitely be our go to service in the future! read more

Wish I could give 10 stars!! These guys are down to earth and professional all at the same time! After receiving horrible service elsewhere, I called Conyers and they were here immediately! Did I mention we have a hurricane coming and they are crazy busy right now?! They still made time for me! They came out and fixed the issue, took time to acknowledge not only myself but my son and my dogs as well... They cared! I lost power to half of my home, so I called Conyers. I explained what was going on. Drew arrived on Monday, checked the breaker box, then the circuit panel. Drew explained to me what was going on. It was a Dominion Power issue. Drew was very pleasant and he arrived on schedule. Steve spoke to my husband on the phone, and told him that he would contact Dominion Power for us. Dominion showed up later in the day and verified what Drew had told us. A big thank you to Drew and Steve for your professionalism!! We recently had a need to replace our package unit HVAC. I used Conyers Electrical again, because of very positive past experience with this family owned company. Steve and his guys were friendly, responsive, reliable, affordable and who I will call on in the future. They installed and converted our electric package unit, to a gas/electric package unit. The install was very clean, professional looking and thoroughly tested prior to their departure. They left the worksite clean and quickly disposed of the old HVAC unit. We are so pleased with the service provided by this company. Our system went kaput a week ago, and we were quoted astronomical pricing by other companies. Conyers electrical is THE BEST! Two years ago, we needed them to come out to our residence because we had no hot water. They came out assessed and they fixed our hot water heater without over charging. They are the most honest company out there. They will not tell you something needs to be replaced or fixed if it doesn't. Our hot water heater went out again, and of course I remembered this company and called them right away. We had a circuit breaker keep blowing and would not reset. This was an issue since it took out a part of the house. I called Conyers and talked to them over the phone since it was a Sunday and sent a pic and a small video. They walked me through a quick troubleshooting, and low and behold, the circuit breaker above was not fully set, causing the issue. It was a Sunday, and it would have been an emergency call. I grew up with the owner in Virginia Beach and wouldn't use anyone else! All of the guys are friendly, but more importantly, they do HONEST work. I called them when I moved into a new house and they installed recessed lighting with dimmers in four rooms. They fixed a couple outdoor receptacles that were tripping indoor outlets and Installed a dedicated line for my freezer so I wouldn't lose all of my food in the garage if the breaker tripped. I had to have my meter bypassed by the city since the meter base fried. when i requested a quote i received a phone call within minutes even though it was in the evening since it was safety related. i have yet to deal with a business that has been as helpful or flexible in their communication methods as Conyers and i was very pleased with how accurate their quote was. read more
