Excellent work!! Showed up masked and ready to go. Centered a bathroom vanity (cannot believe this place was built without the light being centered, but in 94 I guess it wasn't a priority). Changed the attic light to a switch instead of pull, replaced the single light and installed 2 more so you can see in the entire attic (I can't believe this place was built with only one light installed by the door and not in the middle of the attic, but in 94...you've heard that one). I reached out via Yelp and Megan (Mrs. Parker) set up my appointment on a day that worked around my busy schedule. Not only that, she was patient with my e-mails and answered all my questions with knowledge and expertise. If there wasn't something she was too sure about, she was honest about it, got the opinion of her husband, Mr. Jason Parker, and would follow-up within a reasonable amount of time. The way she schedules Jason's schedule is done in a manner so that Jason isn't worn out on install day. This is great because you can have the confidence that your time with Jason will be efficient and the work will be done with quality. Jason, came by the house and offered a free quote on the various projects I wanted done which included the installation of recessed lighting on dimmers, installation of a ceiling fan, addition of power and coax outlets over my fireplace, Nest doorbell and thermostat installation, A LOT of rewiring of switches, and TV mounting. I was quoted about 11+ hours of work at the time. On installation day, Jason was on time and efficient. He finished in ahead of schedule and the work done EXCEEDED my expectations. Not once did he take a break nor did he ever get distracted by his cell phone. I even offered him lunch and coffee numerous times, but he refused on the basis that it wouldn't be the best use of his time. He helped guide me on some decisions that my fiancé and I weren't too sure about and not once did he "huff and puff" about our wishes. On top of that, he was very easy to talk to and shared many life stories that helped the time pass by --- a very personable guy, if I must say so myself. His work is clean and is done with efficiency. His 32+ years of experience definitely reflects in the job he did. Overall, I would highly recommend Parker Electrician --- in fact, I already referred a family friend the same night he finished the project at my home. The costs were more than fair and you can tell Mr. and Mrs. Parker are NOT out there to wring out as much as they can get out of you. They are both honest people running an honest business. I saw the great reviews on yelp for Parker Electric so I decided to try to see if they would come to South Mills, NC (just across the border) and give a quote for some recessed lighting in the kitchen. Megan Parker sent an email that night and said that is no problem. She scheduled Jason to come out on a Saturday. He came and looked at what was needed and asked if I wanted to do the living room too. I said sure add that as optional. He gave me a quote with everything broken down and easy to understand. After seeing how much it was going to be I decided to do the all the rooms. So the kitchen, eating area and living room for a total of 19 recessed fixtures. Jason came out and did all of it plus re-wire the mess the previous owner left, all in 6 hours. He was prompt both times he came and very professional.
