The sites are well maintained and there are plenty of sites that accommodate our 43 foot camper. There are some premium sites that pull through. Just exercise caution with some of those because you could see where some campers dragged trying to get into those. The bath houses are very clean and modern. They also have 20 cabins you can rent. A fair number have been remodeled and those are really nice. We had a great time and are already planning our next trip.

I was invited to a football game this past weekend with a new generation and to my surprise the park has not changed but actually looked revamped. There were parents and kids buzzing all around this park. Grilling, tailgating, and enjoying some good football. Parking is kind of limited and it's still extremely hot. Definitely bring umbrellas, chairs, and a cooler. Oh and bug spray long as your prepared you'll have lots of fun. And this park has a playground.

What will this place be like? Met some of the staff walking in first thing and everyone seemed super nice. All good so far! Quite a small clubhouse and basic pro-shop, along with a range directly opposite which seemed all good. The practice green looked quite nice, so I was hoping the same on the course. We started on the back 9 due to an event teeing off later and a straightforward par 4. Tees nice enough and fairways with plenty of short grass. Nice lies all day. Moment of truth, what are the greens like? Actually they were excellent. For a public course, no pitch marks and Bermuda grass. They rolled super nice and around 9/10 on the stimp. Really nice. Managed to work my around the course well with 4 birdies and a 71 finish. Went to have lunch afterwards and met the co-owner and Pro - Brian. What a nice chap! Had a great chat and always great meeting the guy that clearly has his heart and soul into the conditions. Would I go back? For sure! Was a fun round, other than the 1st hole which was a little gimmicky, the bunkers played well albeit I only went in one and still got up and down n for birdie. Thanks to Brian and the team. I booked a 7:30 a.m. tee time through GolfNow. Upon arrival, I was informed by a staff member, Tanner Jacobs, that the time I booked was "invalid." I was then charged approximately 40% more than the confirmed price I reserved online. In addition to the unexpected price increase, the interaction itself was disappointing. The communication was short, abrupt, and dismissive, which made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and unfortunately it has caused me to reconsider returning in the future.

It was easy to reserve a spot for my friends and I online. The lesson included the bows, arrows, and a wonderful instructor. A couple people brought their own compound bows too and were allowed to practice with them. We learned how to hold and use the equipment along with all the safety rules of the lanes. The general objective of a covered bridge design is to provide a cost-effective, functional, safe, and durable crossing. Although I think there are exceptions and this one basically goes nowhere being it was repurposed and preserved for all of us to enjoy it's not really being used as it was originally intended it is a beautiful structure and if you've never driven across one of these magnificent structures here's your opportunity. I've visited a number of these historic and nostalgic bridges over time, and it's always a thrill when they still allow traffic to pass. This one lane wonder requires one too pay close attention since you are required to straddle the center of the bridge with your wheels along a path of rough cut lumber. If you really want to connect with this structure you must walk across it using the original designated pedestrian side of the bridge, you can feel the strength of the design and appreciate the workmanship of those that created this beautiful piece of art...
