Chocolate Covered Cherries Stout

Had an awesome experience here! We ordered two pizzas--the pepperoni (with what seemed to be real fresh sliced pepperoni) and Matt's Favorite. And they came out incredibly fast. We were digging into hot, delicious wood-fired pizza within minutes. My son absolutely devoured his entire pizza, which says everything. Everything tasted so fresh! Also tried a couple beers, the cherry chocolate and oatmeal cookie stouts, and both were fantastic. Such a great spot. We'll definitely be back!

Love this place. Wonderful pizza, great beer, spot on desserts. The customer service is always impeccable. I am a fan and a forever customer!

Brewery with great food. Local fav. Try the dirty Brussel sprouts. Mmmmmm. I love wood fire pizza. And this place does it right.

Great beers for the summer at Conversion Brewing!

Conversion Brewing was my first brewery I paid a visit to when I was visiting the Lebanon and Albany area a while ago. I stumbled across a beer festival in this town as well. I wasn't really thinking of going to this festival but a very kind gentleman (who I believe worked here) gave me his which was so generous! Definitely appreciated it! The atmosphere here is fun but was very busy since of course the brewery festival was going on. I didn't get any food here but the pizzas looked very promising! For the beer that I tried here... it was the single hop pale ale. A very nice, crisp and light beer which was perfect for the warmer day that it was. I don't need to say how welcoming this business is! Definitely recommend!

I've never written a review of any business on Yelp. I was in Lebanon, Oregon for a industry training, which, said company, took us to Conversion Brewing for dinner and libations. The beer and food was all good, but I was shocked by the service. As a corporate event, they took all attendees via van with designated drivers. The waitstaff and bartenders were to say the least, annoyed with the 30 person group from the get go even though they knew we were coming. This had long been planned. There was an attitude from the get go. Listen, I get that as a local in a small town, you're annoyed with a large group of "outsiders" rolling in and essentially taking over your establishment but this corporate event paid more in tips than they make in half a month of tips, and the sales generated, by a large, local international company, spending their money at this brewery, was probably more in food and drink sales than they get in two weeks time. At no point was our group unruly or out of hand. If that was the case, I wouldn't Ben be complaining. I went to order a beer, my 4th in 2 1/2 hours and one of the two bartenders with attitude, informed me we were cut off, as a group. I wasn't even trying to charge it to the company that out this event on for us, but was happy to pay my own bill. Still cut off. I was dumbfounded. I've never seen such a distain for paying customers. As we were back in our van, driven by a sober driver, one of the attendees informed us that the waitress said "thanks for ruining our Tuesday night". Again, dumbfounded at the absolute distain for paying customers. I'll give it two stars just because the food and beers were good and props to the cooks for banging out a lot of pizzas for our large group.

Schmizza Pizza is schmazinngg, schdelicious, and schomething you don't want to schmiss?!?!! Haha ok…read moreI am done with that. But seriously, Schmizza Public House is a fun place to be on a night-out and just the right amount of extra large pizzas (which is a lot) and comfort food staples everyone would be happy with. The staff are friendly and go with the fun vibe of saying schomething and adding "sch" in front of anything, which brought me lots of joy on the end of a long travel day. My coworker and I wanted to share a big order of salad since we needed our greens and they even split it for us on separate plates to be helpful. I got to enjoy their Thai Chicken Salad (Half Order). Just be careful the dressing is for sure a lil spicy and turned up the heat for me a bit haha! I mean they did put a chili pepper emoji on the side and tell me its spicy so it was my bad for not expecting too much spice. It was indeed delicious though and I finished the whole plate despite my sweating. We also shared a Extreme Veggie Pizza X-Large and may I say, I just love it when a pizza place takes the time to put a whole pizza on a pedestal and give it the throne it deserves. Their presentation is immaculate and I was there for it celebrating the pizza while taking each bite. Mmm-mm yum! My coworker also got their BLTA with a side of tater tots. Again, top notch. Left no crumbs and I got to steal some of her perfectly crispy tots as well as a side quest. Their restaurant is huge and has plenty of tables to seat your whole crew comfortably too. My coworkers and I definitely will come back the next time we are in the area to once again enjoy their pizza and ambiance here again. 10 out of 10 I would recommend!

We were seated promptly and service through the meal was good. Good selection of local beers as well. But the food? It was just ok... I had a southwest chicken wrap but it was not to the spice level that I would consider it southwest. Fries were good but when paired with just an ok wrap, it probably wasn't enough to get us to go back for more food. One thing I noticed was that the menu was huge! Maybe if they pared it down a bit they could just make what they are really good at.

And I have almost always sen loose hair and no hairnets. And dangling or exposed earrings and jewelry. We also ordered the new shredded pepperoni. I ordered 2 of the Double shredded pepperoni and added a topping to each. The pepperoni on both looks like a regular pepperoni not a double serving. And there is sausage scattered all over the pepperoni pineapple. So I really don't think there is any measuring that happens back there. The look like they just pull toppings and put it on there by eyeball. Some pizzas we have gotten had more toppings on them. So I think it depends on the day and who is making your pizzas. This is also why I NEVER pre tip. I tipp after I see what I got. If it's got weird stuff scattered on it. Or if it is looking weak I just don't tip.

But now I rarely go in and see a stock of hot dogs on the rollers. There was about 4 each type ready to go and pretty fresh. Now I am lucky if I see one fresh one of any flavor. And there is now 1 or 2 on the cooking side still unready. A couple times I have gone recently and the hot dogs were overcooked. The skin was actually starting to wrinkle. I was not impressed. I was hoping it was just the new management getting into the swing of things and it would get better. But now it is reminding me of the Qwik-E-Mart off the simpsons. I just want to be able to go in on the morning rush and actually see food available. I stop in on my way home from work and it's a weird guilty pleasure. A slurpee and a hotdog or 2 with chili and cheese. It isn't looking great. Not sure if they will get it back under control or not. It literally looked like the guy behind the counter was running back and forth cooking stuff one by 1 in the microwave back there as it was ordered. Which causes issues with customer service. Not sure if they are trying to conserve on waste. But if I wanted a microwaved hotdog I would do that myself at home. The point is to be able to grab n go.
