IN & OUT PLUMBING

Counting the business owner, three plumbers came today. This time my initial request was to replace two faucets. The plumbers who came to give an estimate a week ago discovered that the cold water valve needed replacing. Notice must be given to building residents 3-4 days in advance of water shutoffs per my HOA rules. A few months after the first time I needed this plumbing company, a contractor working on remodeling my kitchen should have found the valve problem. But since he did not, the silver lining is the quality of the work by this company. I have complete faith that the replacement valve will work perfectly since they installed it. They showed me the plastic valve they replaced and how it would not turn at all. We all liked the faucets I chose for them to install. In the bathroom my glass waterfall faucet has LED lights to indicate cold, warm and hot water. After installing it the plumber showed me a video of the lights working before I went in to try it myself. The kitchen faucet is a Moen which looks nice to start with, and has some great functionality. As the handle is turned for the water the head floats down a little. Then it is possible to select an angle for the head to remain, for example 45 degrees. It will stay in the selected position while the water runs. The owner took a video for himself! Besides the top quality of the work, I appreciate the polite and respectful manners of the owner and all the plumbers.

Communication was quick and easy. They text with updates after your initial call too which is very convenient. Through the water leak project (it was very involved over several weeks and multiple local utilities) in the yard- my husband and his friend had pre-dug the hole down to the leaky pipe. So once Langley Water came out they were able to identify the leak, fix the cause (namely they dug out the big rock that was putting pressure on the pipe through settling,) fill the hole back in and replace the patched grass back all in about 1.5 hours total. They were very fast and cleaned everything up after their work. Impressively though - the crew showed up with their boss, four crewmen to dig and a tractor! They encounter all kinds of leak situations and came prepared in a big way! I'm very thankful they didn't need the tractor for our yard though - it sounded like the tractor was more for their next appointment. Impressive that though they came up from Graham, a couple hours drive with traffic that day, they were energetic and very organized. I hope I never have to call Langley Water for help again. But would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and neighbors that need water leak repair help.

So I called the number on the truck and I got some prick saying he saw it all which was a lie cause if he did he would have seen the tire marks on the ground. If this is how they represent themselves to the public I can only imagine the garbage work they do. I figure if they cut me off that back next time I'll just plow into the guy. I can almost guarantee he called his boss before I did and told him his story before I called I'll go back in a few and take pictures of my skid marks for the tough guy on the other end of the phone.

As this wasn't an emergency, the dispslatcher said it would be today or tomorrow before a plumber would be sent. He was sent today. Sean called and arrived early afternoon and looked at the repair. He presented us three options and solid estimates. We chose the middle one and then decided to also ask about a toilet replacement. Again, Sean presented us options and we agreed to one He gave us. As he didn't have the toilet on his repair truck, Bee's dispatched an employee with a new toilet. Sean was very professional in his work, answering questions as he proceeded with the work. He mentioned a couple of things that needed replacing due to their aging. We agreed to have them replaced. When Sean presented the invoice, it was exactly as he stated. At no time did he try to "upsell" items were didn't need, unlike other plumbing firms in this area that are heavy TV advertisers. I would recommend Bee's Plumbing to anyone that ask! Thank you, Sean! And, thanks to your employer for all they have taught you, in not only the aspects of plumbing but also in customer service!

He installed a kitchen…read morefaucet we supplied, replaced a tub spout, and replaced a dual-outlet emergency shutoff valve, all in under an hour and a half. The work was clean and everything works. Pricing is where I'd caution others. Bee's uses flat-rate price book pricing, quoted on an iPad before work starts. We paid $475 to install our own faucet, $489 for the tub spout, and $309 for the valve: $1,324 total after a $75 discount. Afterward I asked what their standard rates were, and it took about a week of texts and emails to get an answer. The team that handles texts said they have no access to pricing and kept referring me back to the plumber. When I got an answer, the plumber had discounted both items below the company's price book. The rates themselves are steep for quick jobs. One more thing worth knowing: their invoices include a clause saying customers may not post about the contract or its specifics on review sites. The federal Consumer Review Fairness Act makes clauses like that void in consumer contracts, so I'm sharing my honest experience. Good, fast service if you're in a pinch. If you have time, get a second quote first.
