Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. I had a new, completely rebuilt dock, which is fabulous. They kept the area clean while they were working, and I barely knew they were there, totally respectful. Review We had a…read moresection of rotten siding and a sill plate uncovered that was supporting our garage wall and potentially posed a structural concern, since the wall was also retaining part of the roof. The Rot Doctor did an excellent job from start to finish. They carefully removed the rotten siding, boards, and supports while temporarily supporting the wall, then installed a new pressure-treated sill, water-resistant siding, flashing, and belly band, with everything properly caulked and sealed. The workmanship was very high quality. All the cuts were precise, with clean lines, no gaps, and everything felt sturdy and well-built. They also went above and beyond by replacing and reinforcing some warped supports that weren't originally part of the scope. They were experienced and clearly knew how to approach the job, and they were great to work with throughout. Communication and customer service were excellent--we were able to discuss the work as it progressed and adjust the scope when needed. They were punctual, worked efficiently, and completed the entire job in just three days. The pricing was also competitive. He also patiently worked with us to help decide which composite to use for the staircase surface. Wasili then send us a very fair bid. After he sent us photos of other houses for which he did similar work, we accepted his bid. Wasili came out to our house the very next day, dropping supplies off and starting demo. When he did that, he also went above and beyond. He suggested two upgrades to the work he bid on, offering for free to provide am additional cross-brace and to use composite for the risers as well.
