It was around $850 to fix an issue that probably would have cost us thousands had they not fixed it.

The USPS insists on putting Apt 107 instead of unit 107. My address was provided to you on Monday, but nobody was concerned about my apartment like home until 15 minutes before my appointment. I do not live in an apartment like condo. My condo building is three stories high and I live in a townhouse styled condo that is three stories and an end unit. My AC compressor that is located on the roof is easily accessible to tenants and service technicians. The lack of knowledge by the woman that called to cancel, her supervisor and the technician is an internal problem and not something a conversation with me will solve. If I ran Vredevoogd I would be looking for three new qualified employees. Your employee seem to lack knowledge on very basic information about electric central AC and heating systems and AC compressor located on the roof instead of being ground level. I was without AC for three days. Thank God another company fit me in that same afternoon. They diagnosed and fixed the problem in 45 minutes. Three days without AC in 90 plus temperatures and it could have been many more because Vredevoogd canceled 15 minutes before my appointment.

Most recently Ray pulled a new circuit for an electric fireplace, relocated an outlet and installed surge suppression at my main panel. It was a challenging install as the majority of the basement ceiling was previously finished. Ray quickly assessed the situation and was able to identify a route and complete the work (By himself) in record time. Immediately following the work at my home Brad teamed up with Ray to install 2 new circuits and surge suppression at my daughter's home to accommodate recently installed heat tape. Again the challenge at hand was the finished ceilings in the basement. They worked in tandem to quickly get cable from the main panel to the far corners of the home and install GFI receptacles outside. I can't say enough good about Webb Electric. Brad and Ray are true professionals. Working together for 26 years they are like a well oiled machine. Recently we noticed that our central air conditioning unit was making a bit of a weird noise and didn't seem like it was blowing at full capacity, so we gave them a call. I was expecting a long wait for an appointment, since the temperatures were supposed to be in the 90s that week. To my surprise, they said they could send someone out that morning within a few hours! The technician showed up well within the timeframe and did a quick assessment inside to figure out it wasn't the thermostat, then went outside and told us the issue - apparently earwigs can get into the AC unit and prevent the voltage to pass through to fully power the unit (or something... basically, earwigs ruin everything). He cleaned it off and made sure everything else was in working order, and that was it. I was expecting it to cost $200+ but it was only $80, phew! We will definitely continue to enlist the help of Jacobson's in the future (we're already talking about getting the furnace checked well before winter).

I attempted to contact Hendricks after discovering a leak in our ceiling. The plumber we hired…read moredetermined that the water heater exhaust vent had never been glued at the coupling, which allowed condensation to leak and damage our ceiling and drywall. When I first called Hendricks, Travis told me they "don't do water heaters" and insisted it wasn't their work. After I explained that our plumber specifically identified Hendricks as the installer, he continued to deny responsibility and rudely responded, "Well, we don't do drywall, so I'm not sure what you want me to do about it." To verify the facts, I contacted our plumber again. He confirmed that Hendricks was responsible and explained the situation: During the rough-in of our home, Hendricks informed the plumbing contractor that the boiler they were installing for the in-floor heat would also provide domestic hot water. Based on that information, the plumber did not run a separate vent for a water heater because one wasn't supposed to be needed. During the finish stage, Hendricks realized they had made a mistake and determined the boiler they had specified would not provide domestic hot water after all. They then instructed the plumber to use the existing 3-inch pipe that had been connected to the furnace combustion air intake as the water heater vent, with the furnace instead pulling combustion air from the mechanical room. This decision was made because the drywall had already been completed, and there was no practical way to install another vent. After learning this, I again attempted to contact Hendricks by phone, text, and email. I received no response. My calls have been ignored, screened, or disconnected. I would have much preferred to discuss this issue and give the company an opportunity to address it, but after repeated attempts to communicate, I was left with no response. Unfortunately, this is not the only issue we've experienced with Hendricks. We have a 9-degree temperature difference in one bathroom, previously had an 11-degree variance in another zone, have dealt with water leaks, stuck dampers, insulation stuffed into ductwork, loose vent covers, and an improperly installed dryer vent. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Hendricks. Mistakes can happen on any project, but how a company responds afterward says a great deal about its professionalism. In our case, they chose not to communicate or take responsibility, and that has been the most disappointing part of this experience.

Benito was our checkup person and he was wonderful. Informed, professional and no hard sell. We bought a dual furnace and heat pump system to both heat and cool our house. We were so impressed with the installation guys. Liam, Jackson and I'm sorry but I can't remember the name of the other gentleman. They were all very considerate laying down tarps over their walkways and respecting our house. They kept us informed every step of the way.
