This airline has been a huge time saver for me the last several years. As long as you do not have a major fear of flying, I highly recommend this airline. I live in Nashville, TN, but my family lives around Starkville, MS. When this flight was introduced between BNA and Tupelo, MS, I jumped at the chance of having them be my primary travel when I needed to get home. When your 5ish hour drive can be reduced to a 45ish minute flight (plus an hour drive), it really helped me to save time on trips to see my family and my new niece. My experience with the airline has been great. At both Tupelo and Nashville airports, they have been great about getting planes on schedule, taking care of my luggage, and making me feel like I'm a valued part of the trip and their day. The plans are small, the crew is usually a 2 man piloting operation, and the flights are a little rough at times because of the turbulence on a propellor plane, but I trust them completely with each flight. My only hope is that they expand their territory soon to cover more places I'd like to fly to. Contour is a great airline, that offers cheap flights to places that you could drive to in a day, but they give you the gift of time by cutting your travel down without costing an arm and a leg. read more

I flew from Daytona Beach to Ogdensburg, NY. Contour was my connection. Arriving was no problem. When I was flying back, the airline shut down for 24 hours. No notice, no compensation, just so sad to bad. Never again will I book a flight that uses Contour. read more

my wife and newborn baby were trying to board their plane well before the plane took off, but the ticket clerk left the desk and would not come back out to assist my wife and child. I called customer service and they and the ticket counter lied and said my wife was there later then she was actually there. Heather was the supervisor I talked to and she pretended to look into seeing when my wife arrived at the airport and confirmed it was the later time. which is total crap because my wife called me to let me know what happened before the time they were even saying she got there was. horrible business and customer service, especially to not help a woman and a newborn. read more

Flying Contour Airlines is like stepping into a time machine -- straight back to the 1980s, when TWA apparently had better technology and maybe even better snacks. You can tell almost immediately that leadership at Contour is on an extended layover somewhere far, far away. Their mission statement should probably read: "We'll get you to your destination -- eventually, and maybe even with your luggage." The front-line staff deserve medals for staying friendly and helpful while holding together what feels like a paper airplane operation. Unfortunately, no amount of smiles can cover up what's clearly a leadership problem at 30,000 feet. read more

I definitely do not recommend! first and last time user! the delays and communication is the worst level of customer service I've ever experienced. I can't fault the airports-the airline is the problem. I loved the thought of the convenience of a close airport-but I would have saved time and frustration going to a larger airport! I'm sad this isn't the right option for me because I was really hoping this would work. My return flight which was from Chicago, IL to Kirksville, Mo was delayed 3 times and 3 hours as of this review and out of all of this time -no one could tell me a correct gate this flight was scheduled. G5-G15-G17 or G19 and none of these gates were close-they were on split levels. I'm not even sure I'll make it home tonight as of this review! read more

worst experience I've ever had with an airline. they kept delaying the flight. Gave different answers to why the flight wasn't taking off while all other flights were leaving. They kept changing the gate. Total unorganized nightmare. Then after 8 hours at the airport they canceled the flight. Speaking with another passenger that was also trying to board this flight they had said the same thing happened on Monday. Strung along the delays then at 9pm canceled. My experience with this airlines is hilarious. My flight (Phoenix to Show Low) got delayed plus they lost my luggage. It's like a double slap in the face. No money can reimburse my lost luggage cause the souvenirs and important stuff from my trip in Thailand is all there but this airline just lost it. Very pathetic. read more

Terrible experience. My flight was delayed multiple times, then cancelled after sitting in the airport all day, just before the small regional airport closed. The Contour staff at the airport was entirely unhelpful -- they ensured accommodations for the flight crew and left the passengers completely on our own. Since then, I've unsuccessfully sought reimbursements from Contour for my hotel (the next flight was not until the next day) and other expenses. Over a month later, I still have not received a dime. Contour out of Muscle Shoals delayed my morning flight 11/3/24 for 3 hours, which would have made me miss my connecting flight. I rescheduled for the following day. The morning flight for 11/4 was delayed 2 hours, and did actually make me miss my connecting flight. This is not Muscle Shoals problem, it is a Contour problem. My choices for this trip were between a $600 round-trip flight from Fort Myers to Muscle Shoals, or to drive 12 hours. Next time, I'll drive the 12 hours. read more

The only reason I am even giving 2 stars is because the people at the gate and the flight crews are as friendly and accommodating as the company will allow. I have booked with Contour 4 times and only once did my flight leave on time. The other 3 times there were multiple delays, and, once, the flight was canceled altogether, leaving me to re-book my connecting flight for $353.00. And, no, they saw no reason why they should reimburse me. The reason for all the delays? "Mechanical concerns" with the aircraft. Having happened three times now, I am left to wonder how safe Contour's fleet even is. I will be driving between Phoenix and Show Low from now on. read more

Do NOT use Contour Airlines!! They are awful!!! We purchased 3 tickets to fly from Tupelo, MS to Nashville, TN. Tupelo is an hour and half from our home. On our return flight, we were supposed to leave early Sunday morning. Of course we were at the airport 2 hours prior to our flight. The flight times were extended about every hour until about 4:30pm then we were told the flight was cancelled. So then we had to rent a car to drive back to the Tupelo, MS airport to pick up our vehicle, drive to the Columbus, MS airport to return the rental car and then drive home. We should have been home by noon on Sunday. Instead it was after midnight then had to get up early for work on Monday. Contour Airlines said they were sorry but we could get $100 vouchers to fly within the next year. I do not ever plan to fly Contour Airlines again!!!!! Next time I will drive the 4.5 hours should I ever need to go to Nashville, TN again. To say they are NOT GOOD is not enough. Not to mention terrible customer service. They should have cancelled the flight by 10am when they knew it was not going to happen. Instead we spent over half the day in the airport buying over priced food and drinks for no reason. read more

My family and I flew Contour early November from Baltimore to Macon, GA. My concern is with the treatment my 5 year old grandson received while on this flight from the flight attendant. The flight attendant aggressively laid her hands on my grandson when he was sitting in his seat and we quickly became uncomfortable. Her behavior toward him was so disturbing to us that my daughter politely asked her if there was a problem to which she replied no. Her disturbing behavior continued to the point that after asking her for the second time if there was a problem my daughter asked her to please not touch him again. She did not honor the request and if we had not been in flight I would have quickly removed my grandson from her presence. My grandson's behavior was not a problem. He even asked while in flight if he was doing something wrong. When asked later by his parents how the flight was he responded "the plane lady pushed me in my seat." The words of a 5 year old child. We have flown many times and have never experienced a flight attendant who aggressively touched our children or their belongings. I called Contour to inform them of the disturbing behavior my grandson received while in flight and I was told they would get back with me. A week later I received a call informing me that they had not spoken with the flight attendant or pilot but had plans to do so and would get back with me. 2 months later I still have not heard from them. Speaks volumes to me as to their concern over this matter that my family and I are taking very seriously. We were put in a very disturbing, uncomfortable situation and did the only thing we could do while in flight which was to ask this flight attendant to please not touch him again and she did not honor our request. Please think about this. If you have other options to fly I encourage you to do so. read more

Worst track record EVER. Four flights in the last year. Left sitting earlier in Phoenix, had to rent a car to drive back to Page. NOT REIMBURSED. Two other flights significantly delayed between two and five hours. Now today's flight canceled after sitting in a frigid airport for four hours. Asked MULTIPLE times if the flight was going to be canceled. Assured that it was going to fly. Could have driven to Phoenix, but actually suckered into believing the employees. Now still have to drive, and pay for a hotel, plus 11 hours of round trip gas. PUT OUT? What do you think. Four out of four trips ZERO PERCENT approval. The failure rate is astounding. read more

Small airline with great service. I've flown Contour a few times now from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas. The experience has been flawless so far. They are a small carrier with only one flight a day between SB and LV so I'm aware there is a risk of delays or issues but that comes with the territory. Great airline that I plan to support. If I could give them 0 starts I would. Do not trust this airlines. I am sitting in the Oakland airport and they cancelled my flight claiming that they did not get payment from Travelocity when I can see clearly that they took the money from my bank account. I have a valid ticket number and confirmation number. Now I have to go through a chargeback process with the bank to get my money back. I will not get to spend the weekend with my sister as planned - due to their incompetence. Customer service is extremely unhelpful. Update: I was contacted by the airlines and they helped me get to Santa Barbara in time to have dinner with my sister. Giving a few more stars for the effort to make things right. read more

We are not familiar with the area so when our flight was diverted to Medford ,Oregon we did not even appreciate the distance. The airlines did not offer to provide lodging or ground transportion. I was a bit reluctant to fly in an unknown Airliner but I have to say, I had a wonderful time flying Contour. I definitely will fly with them again. Some of the benefits: 1. Easy on-boarding and deplaning as number of passengers are less. 2. Very friendly Air hostess 3. Plenty of legroom - equivalent Premium plus in United 4. Heard from other passengers that their on-time departure record is pretty amazing. 5. I've flown Contour Airlines several times with excellent experience. I must confess I was wary the first time because I had never heard of them and did not want to see my connection in Nashville jeopardized. Check in at Tupelo is quick and efficient. The flight is about an hour. All takeoffs and landings have been perfect. The plane is a bit noisier in the cabin than a big jet, but acceptable. The ticket prices are very reasonable. And yay...when you get to Nashville, you're in the secure area...no TSA pat down! If you are in N. Miss. and want great connections out of Nashville, I recommend Contour. read more

Horrible new website caused my mom to be charged for a flight and then not get a ticket, I then tried to purchase her a ticket on my credit card and it charged my card 8 times. I called and their customer service people told me it is a new website and the 109.00 ticket it offered us was not available so our money would be refunded in 3 to 5 days. So would not sell us the 109.00 ticket or help us out at all. This flight was from Oakland California to Crescent City California. Please be careful on their new website everyone!!! Bad experience in both directions My 92 yo father had a reservation to fly from Santa Barbara to Oakland (12/22) and return on 12/26. When I tried to check him in online, they showed that he was a minor and couldn't check in alone....because their computer system read his birth year as 2026 instead of 1926. I called and they told me the problem was corrected and I checked him in. When he showed up in Santa Barbara for his 3:30PM flight he was told the plane had mechanical difficulties. After having difficulty getting a status, around 5:30PM that he was finally told that the plane would be delayed until the FOLLOWING MORNING at 6:45AM. Unfortunately, we'd already driven 2 hours to pick him up! He returned to the airport the following morning for the 6:45AM flight...which didn't take off until around 7:15AM. At arrival the requested wheelchair was not waiting for him and he had to wait even longer for that. Similar problems on he return flight....still showed him as a minor when I tried to check him in online and I couldn't resolve the problem because the office was closed. Flight was supposed to leave at 8:45AM, he didn't board the plane until 9:37AM. Yes, people were nice....but things were terribly disorganized. Different stories from different people. No ability to get flight status online. Everything felt very rinky-dink!! They offered a travel voucher for part of the fare, but my Dad is refusing to fly this airline in the future. I really had high hopes that this would be a good non-stop airline from SB to Oakland....I was very, very disapointed!!! read more
