Why is she working at the ticket counter if she hates her job so much. I tried to talk to her, wish her a Merry Christmas and even ask if she was okay. There was no response. Just ranting a little. I don't ask for much but I do expect to be treated nice when I am checking my bags. I was one pound over so I give her an extra star for not making a big deal about that but I think it's because I am flying FC.

Rebecca was on a break and the gate agent that was covering her break did not know fully how to handle passenger requests and transactions. The other gate agent indicated that we would be able to be assisted with things once Rebecca returns from her break. Many of us got out of line and waited until we saw a female gate agent come to the gate counter. We all assumed that this was "Rebecca". We are so grateful that it was Rebecca. She took care of a customer family who had a stroller and car seat with their babies within 2 mins. She also helped us change our seating assignments as Southwest Card Holders, within 1 minute. She then kept helping others behind us in line and she is awesome. Rebecca at Memphis Intl Airport Southwest Terminal is an excellent employee. She had wonderful customer service, great and efficient transactions, and is very very reliable to passengers. Please recognize and appreciate Rebecca!

We were 40 mins late leaving SA due to boarding issues(oversized baggage that passengers were determined to fit in overhead compartments and helping a paralyzed individual, which due to the new seating policy the crew finally figured out that if she was in the aisle seat and could not get up to let the window and middle passengers in they needed to get those passengers on board‍). Why don't they have a section in their SOP for issues as such and why don't they have a box at the ticket area and/or gate area to make passengers use it to make sure the carry on luggage will fit???? So simple of a concept. Now we are leaving Memphis and again late due to carry-on luggage. Running 15+ mins late now.

I went through my travel agent and she was able to find me a great package deal that included seat and luggage. Ok the ticket counter I like to arrive early so was there 1 1/2 before boarding I was told I was too early they needed another 10 minutes even though they begin checking in 2 hours before flight so I stood over to the side....it was more than 10 minute wait. While I was standing there I saw a few people walk up with issues now I was not involved but the attitude from the counter was just kind of rude from what I heard like they were on some sort of power trip. While standing over to the side not in line out of the way woman behind the counter yells at me we are not ready to board Vegas...I responded with yes I know I am not even in your line. So an hour before boarding they let us check in which was extremely slow they waited until everyone pretty much needed to check in so the wait was long. Once I got to the gate there where at least 4 couples going to Vegas that they let in before us so don't know what was going on there. I only flew this airline for the non stop flight to Vegas but honestly I would think hard about it before going again...its kind of like a trap there are so many fees and rules just make sure you read everything its like they are trying to get you. The plane itself was brand new the staff on board was great only complaint was most uncomfortable seat ever on a plane. They make you hurt and pay for that cheap non stop flight LOL

I flew from Dallas Fort Worth to Southern Regional Arkansas and the service was fantastic the entire way through. I was greeted by amazing staff like Shawonna and she went above and beyond with customer service, friendliness, & overall help navigating through. She even personally helped me set up a car service car to get to where I needed to be in such a fast time! She made the final stop in my destination very pleasant and delivered such amazing and personal service it made traveling just that much better for me. I really appreciate her help and kindness!

That's my personality, I look for the good. With living in this digital age, checking in is always seamless with all airlines and at this point I've used every carrier. One thing they do not have is the Touch-less TSA which I really appreciate since you just walk up and smile, no ID or boarding pass needed. It's super convenient and fast. MEM doesn't have this perk and TSA still will ask for your ID along with your boarding pass. That's not necessarily bad but I mean come on MEM you have such a beautiful airport. The Lounge is action is small with only Delta providing lounge access. So what does that mean, it's a SMALL airport! Again, not bad but let's get to the good. The Good: The restrooms are seriously the nicest public bathrooms ever. I can't even describe it, book a flight to Memphis! Anyone who I've traveled with has said how great the restrooms are. If Lounge action is too much or you don't have the perk but need to work then they have a business center. A literal workspace for those who love to bring work with them. The Bad: I'm not sure it's bad but the food choices are limited. There isn't even a Golden Arches (McDonalds) in this airport. I'd say eat before you get here unless you have lounge access. The UGLY! None, this is seriously a beautiful airport! I love traveling to Memphis, which will be a home away from home for a least another few months.
