I'm…read morenot going to use names or titles, but I feel it's important to document a poor experience I had. This past Sunday, my three-year-old son and I went to return an unused car battery that we had originally paid for in cash. The clerk initially said they didn't have enough cash to process the refund and suggested coming back another day. I offered alternatives, including using my debit card, and was told there was enough cash in the store but that it had to come from one register, which is why they said the refund couldn't be processed. I also offered to drive to another nearby store within reason if that would help, but was told that was not an option either. When I asked to speak to a higher-level person, that individual's response was, and I quote, "Just give him the money and get him the F#%$ out of my store!" This was said in front of my child and another parent with a young child waiting in line. The refund was then processed in less than a minute. About 30 minutes later, I called the store to follow up calmly and express my disappointment. I was told I could be put on hold until the manager was available. I waited a day to see if anyone would reach out before posting this, but did not hear back. The use of harsh profanity by management in front of young children crossed a line and is completely inappropriate in a customer-facing retail environment. Otherwise, this is a store I regularly visit without issue.

I first waited several minutes while the agent (not Jason, who is very professional), finished up with another customer, then spent some time shuffling papers. When I got the agent's attention, I started to describe my situation when the phone rang. "Let me take care of this." Ten minutes later I was still waiting. When he finally got off the phone, he asked me why I was there, all the while playing with the papers in front of him. My problem was with the air conditioner. "We don't do air conditioners anymore." I told him I wish he had told me that ten minutes earlier. "We didn't get that far." Why on earth not?? I would still go back because I believe they do good work at a fair price, but only if Jason is standing at the desk.

I've never experienced this level of service before, and there are five main reasons why: Impeccable Environment: First, I was shocked by how clean and organized the shop is. It's rare to see a garage so well-maintained. Customer-Centric Care: The staff is incredibly friendly. To ensure an accurate repair, they asked detailed questions about every symptom the car was having. Their approach to consulting--truly looking at things from the customer's perspective--was very impressive. Convenient Shuttle Service: Third, they actually offer a ride home while your car is being fixed if you need it. I've never had a shop offer that kind of convenience before. Transparent Digital Inspections: What really "wowed" me was their reporting. They took photos of everything they inspected and provided detailed explanations. They showed me exactly what was wearing out, what needed immediate attention, and even shared videos to help me understand. I was totally sold. Honesty and Integrity: Finally, since no new parts were required for my specific fix, they actually did the repair for free. I simply couldn't pass up the chance to leave a glowing review after such a positive experience. I actually asked an AI for a recommendation for a reliable shop in the area, and it pointed me here--it absolutely exceeded my expectations!
