I am writing this review as the son of the homeowners who hired Construction Concierge, Inc. and its owner, Salvador Rodriguez.
Our experience with Salvador Rodriguez and Construction Concierge, Inc. during a remodeling project intended to prepare our home for sale was extremely disappointing and financially damaging.
My parents are older and primarily Spanish-speaking. At the beginning of the project they were asked to sign a contract written entirely in English, which they did not fully understand. Only later did we discover that the agreement included a 19% interest provision for late payments, which has now affected my family terribly.
The original project began at roughly $37,000, and the purpose of the remodeling was to prepare the home so it could be listed and sold on the real estate market through escrow.
However, the project experienced major delays, including a period of more than six months where work stopped entirely. When I stepped in to help my parents manage the situation, Salvador Rodriguez acknowledged that he had forgotten about the project and apologized for putting it on the back burner.
Because of that delay, the remodeling work remained incomplete for an extended period of time. Eventually the property had to be listed for sale while the work was still unfinished, which was never the original plan.
During the selling process, buyer inspection reports identified issues related to the incomplete or deficient work, which made it extremely difficult to move forward with a sale. As a result, the property was unable to sell, which directly affected my parents' ability to resolve the balance through escrow as the contract contemplated.
Despite the delays and the inability to sell the home while the work remained unfinished, the amount now being demanded has increased dramatically. What began as a project of roughly $37,000 has grown into a demand of approximately $170,000, largely due to the 19% interest provision that has allegedly been accruing since August 2025.
In December 2025, Construction Concierge recorded a mechanic's lien against the property, and the situation has since escalated into ongoing litigation.
This situation has been extremely difficult for my parents. What started as a project meant to help them sell their home has instead created significant financial hardship, stress, and uncertainty about their future.
If you are considering doing business with Salvador Rodriguez or Construction Concierge, Inc., please read the contract extremely carefully, pay close attention to interest provisions, payment terms, and timelines, and ensure everything is clearly understood before signing anything.
The statements above reflect our family's experience and understanding of events, which are currently part of an ongoing dispute. read more
