NO, NO, NO!!! Missed pickup more often than not! There is never anyone there to answer the phone. When I called to initiate service, I had to leave a voicemail. No one returned my call. I called again almost two weeks later, and had to leave another voicemail. Since starting service with them, they have missed picking up my trash more than they have picked it up. This is the third week in a row that they have missed my pickup. Their customer service is horrible. I tried to give them a fair chance, but things just continued to decline. read more

Really wish I could give this place negative stars. Where to start, my wife and I have been with this company, unfortunately for about a year and a half and we've had issues virtually the entire time. Constantly the drivers are throwing the bins (keep in mind these are cans I bought myself) either into the street or on the sidewalk to the point, the wheels have completely broken off one of them and the lid was ran over. We try calling them about it numerous times and either they take forever to respond, or they don't reply at all. We have multiple videos of their employees just damaging my property. ( I ended up buying a video doorbell because of this) Even with all this, they still treat us like crap and I've been trying to convince my wife to switch companies but these guys are the cheapest we have in the area. I would save your time, spend the extra $ and use a company that doesn't give you a complete headache Update, less than 24 hours later, my wife is informed that our account is being canceled without talking to us first. They tried to message me on here yet couldn't bother talking to my wife who called them, now they won't answer or they blocked her number or something..... I am livid read more

Staff seemed nice and friendly when they actually returned my call 3 days later. Said they had mailed out a promotion and have been swamped with calls and were trying to catch up and apologized profusely for the delay in getting back. read more

I had to quit another company due to their frequent misses, and our trash once piled up with the old company for 4 weeks!! Then that old company gave us the run-around. We quit them, and joined Constable because the fees were better than the nearest competitors. Although they don't always answer the phone, the 2 times I left a message, they got back to me within a few hours and answered all my questions. We have an issue in Lees Summit with disposal companies right now--some from out-of-town who are not offering good service, and that leads to this type of business growing very rapidly, which does make them very busy, but they have always been courteous to us. I am happy with our choice in trash/recycling pick-up. read more

Have had multiple issues with this company but had limited choices where we live in Lee's Summit and they had an affordable price. I now know why. Initially, when we started service they were continually leaving our dog's poop bags in the trash can. I complained three weeks in a row. They sent out a route manager to look in our bin who then told us that since we live next to a park that maybe people were just throwing the poop bags in our bin. I knew this was not the case since we buy a specific type and all were this. After weeks of going back and forth I was able to watch the pick up and saw that the people were literally picking up each bag out of our bin. No reason for this. Had to then call again and specifically ask the company to use the lift and to get all of our trash! Who has to do that? Now, for two weeks I have had to deal with a paint issue. Since no place within 45 minutes of me is accepting hazardous waste I talked to Lowes on how to dispose. Dry out the tins. I did this and was not picked up. Called and was told to leave the lid off. Did that for the next week and still no pick up. Now I am told they will only pick up 5 at a time and they have to be sitting next to the bin. When I said I was NOT told that last week, I was told very firmly that I was when in fact I had not. Needless to say, glad we are moving and will not be using their service anymore. I would not recommend them. Also, good advice for anyone trying to dispose of paint safely. read more

Constable is fantastic! We were new to town and they helped set us up with containers and got us on their route FAST! I love the family history of the company and the dedication they show in their work. Keep up the great work! read more

Trying to call the office results in no answer. Bad information is given. Overpaid and then shorted on the refund when service was canceled. Local company that is losing business to the bigger companies. they mess up the billing, but you pay the price. read more

They were recommended by my new neighbor when I first moved here, but that was NOT my experience! No way to get a live person on the phone...ever Their msg stated we'd be called back within 24-48 hours...nope! Agreed to pick up trash where I asked them to rather than on my front driveway...but could never make that happen. (All they had to do was say no.) Company rep advised me that there would be no charge since service was so bad and I had to haul my trash back in more often than not, but 3 months later and I'm still getting bills. Have emailed and called numerous times and the response is always apologetic...but nothing gets done. Changed over to Flynn's who are, so far, STELLAR! I'd stay away from Constable. read more
