I searched for "FreeTv" and discovered they had changed their name to Stream Wise Solutions. Fortunately, Brian and Bruce were still there. My equipment was so old that Brian recommended a Tablo upgrade. It was pricey, but I was Stream Wise able to get cable to my Xfinity modem brought into the house, something Xfinity and Best Buy didn't do. It was a difficult process. Juan did an outstanding job of bringing it into the house. If you are considering Stream Wise Solutions, ask for Juan. He is awesome. He really knows what he is doing. Bought my own modem. Called for PCI for a tech to hookup and connect. Tech was late. PCI tech called informed me of late arrival. No problem. In less than 24 hours, I cancelled my service because I could not stand the buffering, delays, and colossal speed on just my computer alone. To make matters worse, you'd think they'd have some policy for new unsatisfied customers who are looking to cancel their policy in less than a day. Instead, their way of saying bye is charging you for their service for the next 30 days even if you aren't using them anymore. Their excuse? "We are here for you in case your future provider doesn't meet your expectations until the service is cut off." CenturyLink didn't meet my expectations, and I was lied about how good the speeds were. I shouldn't be punished by paying 30 days of service!!! Even if another company didn't provide what I wanted, I wouldn't resort going back to them! First and last time ever using CenturyLink!
