The staff greeted us right away, were super friendly, and never hovered - just the perfect balance. They explained that they could order upholstered furniture made by local North Carolina manufacturers in a variety of syles and fabrics. We spent a relaxed hour or so looking at floor models, picking out fabrics, and taking home some swatches. A day later (after measuring twice and holding swatches up to our walls a few times), we placed the order. The pieces were built and delivered on time and looked even better than we imagined - exactly what we wanted. Then, a few days after delivery, we noticed an awful creaking noise every time we sat on the loveseat. We called the store immediately. Initially they told us warranty issues go through the manufacturer, and honestly that's when things got frustrating. The manufacturer was painfully slow (borderline unresponsive) and weeks went by with almost no progress. That's when Susan at Going Twice stepped in and completely turned the situation around. Once we let the store know we were hitting dead-ended with the manufacturer, Susan took ownership. She stayed on top of them, pushed the claim through, and kept us updated the entire time. Yesterday the replacement loveseat arrived - it's gorgeous and (most importantly) 100% creak-free. Thank you, Susan, and the whole Going Twice team, for standing behind what you sell and taking such good care of your customers. You didn't have to go the extra mile, but you did, and we are so grateful. We'll absolutely be back for future furniture needs!

The store is largely furniture and decor with all kinds of design ideas throughout and they also have a section with local candles, sauces, apparel, salsa, coffee, etc. We purchased some cherries for old-fashioned drinks and a peach salsa made right in Davidson. Great place to check out while in the area!

She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! I have a small custom project and this will be my first place to discuss it once I've firmed it up a bit more. What a refreshing experience!!

At the time, everyone was recommending this location because of the value and after much shopping and price comparing, ordered a bed room suite from them. Lasted forever Looking for desk and gave them a shot. More than helpful but they were also at the time frame dictated by the supplier. Very helpful and cooperative and some of our neighbors who have recenbly moved her have found them as well and love them. Unfortunately they were not able to meet my immediate need but very helpful. Current owner indicated that we have probably previously dealt with his parents if it was back in the 1970's . I think I still have part of that bedroom suite.

We felt like we were chasing after her, as she tried to get prices on furniture... I think she may have needed more training in how to use the computer. after purchasing living room furniture kitchen items bedroom items media center we had to wait almost two hours for her to write up the order!!!! We were promised delivery the following week we had to chase them down to get the date and time. the delivery went smoothly , only after several calls to the store and then I had to get the manager to follow up because the sales person did not. The two gentleman that came were exactly on time and extremely proficient. However the most important piece the couch was not there! Call the store spoke to the manager Luis and he told me that I would have it no later than Tuesday of the following week.. never got a phone call spent a couple of hours on Tuesday trying to find out when I would get it. Call the store back only to have Pam hang the phone up on me. Then I called the corporate office customer service. I was speaking to the person explaining to her how disappointed we were at the service of trying to get a date and time when we will receive the additional pieces. Customer service hung up and never called back!!!! Customer service is the number one priority for purchasing items I will never buy another thing in this store again. I am continuing to try but in vain I have gotten no calls back. I am now on hold for 22 minutes with a customer service. The commercial recording I am listening to on the phone says we make it easy to bring it all home!!! This is not the case at all!! so now I give up I will be driving down to the location where I purchased the furniture to speak once again to the manager. I was told at the time of purchase by Pam that all of the items would be coming boxed. When the furniture was delivered it was extremely Dusty and the glass top of the cocktail table was scratched. I did write this on the bill as I received a floor model. I was very explicit and asking her that I would be getting it in a box and she said absolutely. Now I have one with the scratch when I called back she said you knew you were getting a floor model. That is an absolute lie!!! I would not be purchasing furniture that would come damaged. if that were the case I would have expected to at least have the option of picking one from the floor that was not damaged. They have some truly amazing pieces of furniture here, and can custom build or upholster just about anything you can think of. My wife and I ended up purchasing some beautiful dining room chairs at a great price, and are now using Cowbridge to look for other pieces for our house as well. Just fyi, this place will ruin you for any other furniture store; you'll never be able to go back to any of the chains without comparing them to Cowbridge and their level of craftsmanship and quality.
