This was one of the places I went when I was looking for a desk for my office. During Covid, desk and other office furniture have become hot items. They only had two when I went and neither one met my requirements for what I needed for my office. One of the hazards of shopping consignment stores in that you are limited by what people are willing to sell paired with the market demand. Kept looking and ended up ordering new and got lucky and got the first and only one on the Office Depot truck when it came in. Still if you are patient or you really have not figured out what you need, this couple be a good deal. We had reasonable success with the few things we consigned with this business. But when we were going to take a few more items, we found the phone number "temporarily disconnected". Eventually, we drove by and found the store had been vacated. So despite what Google might return showing that the store is open, not so. As we had a few dollars owed to us for prior consignments, I attempted to track down the owner (Kayce C. Staehle). Turns out she has a law office in town. I called her office (704-625-6170) and was assured by her that the business was closed, that any consigned goods had been returned, and any monies owed had been paid. Well we were never notified of the business closure nor received any final payment. Perhaps the small $ amount due us just fell thru the cracks. I hope no-one else has the same situation read more

a week after your brand new living room is delivered, when you accept that you have a house full of "used furniture", your shopping options will increase exponentially. With that in mind I've stopped in here a few times looking for the odd piece of furniture but have not found anything that fits the bill, haven't found anything suitable anywhere else either so that's a push. I can understand some difficulty with a rustic right-handed fainting couch but finding a six-foot buffet to use as a sofa table shouldn't be this tough. I mean really, we are in the south. Anyway, the merchandise on display seems to be of good quality and the several items I have looked at were priced fairly. I'll be back when I start looking for regular pieces and maybe then I'll have more success. read more

I absolutely love this store. Recently moved to the area and needed to buy some furniture fast. Looked around at new furniture stores and the prices were ridiculous. Went here and found a beautiful used dining room set for a great price! I checked the brand and it's a fine furniture brand so I really scored, yeah! They also carry some new furniture and lots of decorative items such as artwork, mirrors, china, lamps, etc. Good prices. You really have to walk around the store a couple of times because there are lots of hidden treasures and I've missed things the first go round. Highly recommend. read more

I shop LKN Consign as often as I have a need. Love going into store and browsing all the unique items. All at a good price. Staff are always friendly and helpfull! Wouldn't dream of shopping for home needs/wants without going to LKN Consignment first. My last purchase was for a tapestry for my living room. Found perfect one hanging there just waiting for me! There was a large and varied selection but I believe the turnover of product is so great you'd need to check on it every other day. We were able to return and buy what we'd seen but some items that had arrived the day before were already gone! read more

These people know how to run a consignment shop. They are professional, courteous, price your items fairly, and even unload your items and inventory them. I just consigned with a previous shop and it was a disaster. Items lost, broken, and even credited to someone else's account. Thank goodness I could take my items to a professional service! The shopping there is great too! You may buy more than you consign! read more

This place was A-OK. I prefer to go to Fine Consign in Hickory. I think if the operators of this place went there, they might learn a few things. This is an amazing place. When I first saw it from the outside I thought that it was small, but once I went inside i found that the place is much larger. They have lots of great items for cheap. I can spend a good deal of time just walking around looking at everything. Go check them out they also deliver. read more

Do not deal with this store! They are stealing your items and/or money. When you check to see if your item(s) have sold within the 97 day period, they consistently tell you they have not sold and when you go to retrieve your item(s) within that time period, they tell you they "cannot find it". They have done this to me 3 times now and have offered no compensation for the item(s) they cannot find. This past Saturday when I went to retrieve an item that I was told that very morning had not sold, they "could not find it". I appeared on Tuesday (which was within my time limit to retrieve), along with a Mooresville police officer, and amazingly was told the item had sold and was given my money for a price they had asked me to agree to reducing 30 days prior. These people are very dishonest and are deceitful to those who consign with them. Do yourself a favor and consign your items with a reputable consignment store. There are several in the Mooresville area and this is not one of them! read more

They have some fairly nice items but I have never been treated like that before. I came to pick up a bed that I was told would be taken apart and waiting in the back for me to load today anytime after 10 am. When I arrived, the bed was still assemled out on the sales floor. I had my rental truck and some time to kill, so no problem...but it turned out that no one knew how to take it apart. At that point I was told that i should have brought my own tools. I was also told that If I couldnt take it apart, I probably couldnt have figured out how to put it back together anyway. Sales are final. Too bad for me if its not movable. She asked me if I had my reciept. I had left it in my car when I picked up the truck. The owner informed me that a reciept is a little white piece of paper... in case I didnt know. She was rude and insulting. I left with no bed, no appology, no offer to help me out in any way ...and slightly shaken up. This is probably going to need to be resolved in court. I dont even want to go back there to try to get reimbursed again. I highly recommend people try the other consignment shop accross the steet by Walmart....Going Twice....They are polite and downright lovely. I have furnished two condos from their shop. Not sure what made me try out this spot but it was a huge mistake. read more

I love this place as a buyer. However as a seller, besides the owner completely lacking in any people skills, they are inconsistent on their policies. I have consigned several things through them and usually they call if something doesn't sell to see if I want to pick it up but sometimes they don't, and it gets donated with no acknowledgement. I found this out the hard way with my last consignment, and when I asked for a receipt for the donation for tax purposes it was such a struggle I gave up. When I contacted the owner about this experience he pretty much made sure I knew it was all my own fault and he wasn't going to do a thing about it. So I won't be consigning or buying from them, and will discourage anyone else from the same. I've heard the same type of feedback from friends that have dealt with the owner before. read more

This is the worst consignment store I have ever dealt with. The owner Scott was extremely rude. We are new to the area and went into the store in advance to inquire about consigning. A very nice gentleman by the name of Michael gave me all the details and told me they pretty much accept all items and no limit on what I bring. Only larger furniture I should take a picture first. The day I showed up with all my items I must have interrupted Scott during his lunch because when he came out he already seemed annoyed and not very friendly. He looked at my stuff briefly and was already criticizing every last thing. Then informed me he only took 10 things under 10.00. All the items he didn't want he was throwing back into my boxes until I finally told him to stop . I gathered my things and asked for a manager and he ignored me. Then I asked again and he hesitantly told me he was the owner. I was totally shocked that an owner would treat any customer the way he did. I will go to another consignment store who actually gives back to the community instead of harassing them. read more
