If you look at these photos, you'll see my 3 Cococo Home pieces. The Chesterfield Chair and Sofa are 13 years old now and while they are showing their age a bit, they still look fabulous. The Winston chair is about 3 years old and matches them perfectly. When I ordered these, people thought I was crazy "Why would you want a green sofa?!!", but when anyone sees them, they will always compliment them. In fact, I had a police officer knock on my door one day to ask about a neighbor and as I was talking to him at the door, he noticed the sofa and said "Man, that green couch is cool!" Cracked me up. In any case, if you want an heirloom piece of furniture that will stand the test of time, you really should consider Cococo home. Are they pricey? Yes. Is the wait time uncertain? Yes. I have a relatively new sofa from this company. A dog damaged two of the seat cushions so I asked about purchasing replacements in May of 2025. I received very slow responses but eventually was quoted a price. I paid in full for replacement cushions 10/2025 (a little over $800). It's been six months now since they received full payment and .....nothing! Still waiting. I try calling, emailing and have requested return calls. I keep being told I will get an update. We purchased our couch 5 years ago. Problems started in year 2 with the support frame not doing its job. Twice 2 guys with a small truck came from NC, took the giant couch (105" long and double depth), put it on the back of the truck and drove off. 2 times they rebuilt the inner frame. Now it is not level, scraped the wood floor and I learned the leather I thought I had order, was not what I received. The top color of the leather is simply wearing off. Even though the issues have all developed in the warranty period, the company has never actually corrected the issues with this couch. Complete disappointment in this company. When all is said and done, the production delays, the communications and the delivery service it's all about the product and the sofa we received is really really really nice. We ordered the sofa in Atlanta and knew the leather selected was very much in demand so it didn't surprise us when it took some 120 days to ship. Would have appreciated a call but always got a quick answer when I got in touch with them. The delivery service left something to be desired but my guess is when you are a small custom manufacturer your options are limited. Having said that, it did get delivered without damage. The sofa itself is just fantastic everything you expect when you order a custom piece and it was built on a bench in North Carolina by folks who know how to build sofas. The WORST customer service I have experienced anywhere in my 56 years of life! We ordered 2 large leather couches in October, 2020. We were told they were to be delivered middle to the end of January, 2021. They finally arrived June, 2021. During the wait, the communication was worse than awful. Not only did they not update us, but they routinely didn't return our calls the multiple times we called to find out the status. Further, the owner, Steve, was rude, obstinate and flat out lied to us. Great furniture. Very high quality, with exceptional craftsmanship. I have owned 3 pieces, a sofa, and two chairs for 2 years and they look brand new. The bad news is that the sales force is awful. I mean really bad. They don't know their products, and they will not try to find answers to your questions. That being said, I am now ordering some more furniture from them, another 5 pieces. I really do love the quality. However, just obtaining an invoice from them is a hassle. They promise an email in half an hour, it has now been two hours and no reply, even after a phone call to them! I absolutely love my chesterfield. I've had it for 2 months. Yes, it took awhile (especially once it left the factory) and you aren't going to get automated updates. But, I knew that going in, so I didn't really care. I worked directly with Steve and had a great experience. First, he sent me samples and then about a year later, when I was ready to purchase, I decided to fly to NC and make my decision in the store, which I really recommend. Picking a fabric from a tiny little sample is really risky for such an expensive purchase, so it was worth it to me to fly in (plus there is some good hiking nearby). I ended up with a different material and color than I would have otherwise purchased. Plus then I could easily walk around and say, this size, these nails, these legs, this shape. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice, it's such a beautiful lush color. My brother told me that now that I have such a fancy couch, I need to get rid of everything else and start over! read more

I bought a couch from them 3 years ago before they even became popular thanks to Houzz and some reality Furniture TV show. It was the same story then and probably is now. Needless to say, I will never buy from them again. They tout that it is Made in America and copy the RH design. It's great if you are sure its better quality and end up saving yourself a buck but just compare the same couch at RH and you'll know it isn't the same. I am quite sure that even though Made in China frequently gets a bad rep, this Made in America couch was not "more comfortable" than the original RH couch as they claimed. Long story short. I ordered a couch and was over-promised on the delivery date. It arrived 5 months after the promised date. The owner promised all sorts of leather cleaners and claimed he shipped them out to me but some how it vaporized into thin air; never got to me. Needless to say, when I called to determine whether it shipped I received a rude response. The first excuse was that he personally placed the cleaner with the couch and it must have never made it on to the delivery truck. The final excuse was - that they don't use that particular brand of cleaner anymore and he'd send the new one out ASAP. Never received it and I stopped calling. Once you pay, you are at their mercy and the worse part is you almost feel you have to be nice to this douche. They screw-up but get mad at you for bringing it to their attention. A friend of mine ordered a couch from Cococo a few years ago and I have admired it ever since. Beautiful design. Supple leather. When I saw on their website that they also built ottomans, I knew I had to have one of my own. I now have the ottoman. And I do love it. It's exactly as ordered and looks beautiful. The rating is the result of the poor process from designing the ottoman online, to ordering, to delivery, and communication in between. I had ordered leather swatches but the website did not have the leather I wanted as an option to order. I spoke with Steve who I believe is one of the owners. He was kind enough to email pics of other products in that leather so I could get an idea so that was nice. But it would have been nice to see what I wanted with all of my options *before* I ordered 1) to have a better idea of what I was going to get from an inspiration perspective and 2) to confirm we both understood what I wanted before I paid in full. When It was time to place the order, because the site I ordered from didn't have the leather as option, I emailed Steve directly and it took a few days for them to acknowledge the order. They did not confirm approximate build and shipping times - I had to ask a few times before they let me know. Then when they said 6-8 weeks I left them alone until that 8 weeks closed. And I didn't hear from them so I followed up and then again, I sent a reminder and then nothing. After hearing from them that it was delayed a few days I followed up again and they let me know it was ready to ship. I specifically requested white glove delivery when I initially placed my order with Steve because I live in an apartment and knew I would need some assistance getting it to my place. I didn't realize it but they quoted me UPS. Which ended up being a lot cheaper and much faster so I ended up going with it but I would have liked to know about that in the beginning. I ended up getting it to my place no problem based on how they shipped it. TLDR: great product. Lots of room for improvements to the customer experience. read more

I purchased a sofa from the Comfortable Couch Company. It was an expensive product that I had to wait quite a while for. When it arrived, it was as attractive as I'd hoped, but not as comfortable. And the leather is not at all durable. The back of my fingernail or the corner of a paperback book is hard enough to leave a permanent scratch. We purchased a custom leather bed from COCOCO. Boy what a hassle!! First of all, they are the slowest company in the world. ,Secondly, they have poor internal communication, and third, their quality control is horrendous. For an expensive furniture store, they do not live up to the hype. They happily take your money, which is nothing to sneeze at, and then take months to get you your order. We ordered our bed on December 2, 2020, and finally received it on March 13th! The colors of leather were wrongly labeled on the website, so initially they ordered in the wrong leather. Good thing we asked for a photo of the color before they began production. In any case, they re-ordered the correct leather. After it was finished and ready to ship we asked for pictures prior to shipping. They were fairly agitated as it was already boxed up and ready for shipping and they had to unbox it. Seems common sense to show a customer a picture of a $3300 product before shipping it out. It took about three days for those pictures and there were some nasty cosmetic blemishes. We were transferred to the owner who was an angry unhelpful man who took no accountability for the blemishes. He said, "oh well, there are natural blemishes." We have a lot of leather furniture in our home and understand natural blemishes, but these were smack dap in the front of the footboard and could have easily been placed in less conspicuous places. In any case, the owner agreed to replace the front section, with no apologies about the lengthy process or lack of communication or quality control. After the bed was repaired they shipped it out. Unbeknownst to us as they didn't communicate, it was in route. So after another week I inquired again and they said that it takes 10-12 shipping days and then the shipping company would contact us to deliver. At day 14 after shipping, we called COCOCO again to check on the order. Soon after our call (surprise surprise) the shipping company called for delivery. When we received the bed there was a huge flaw in visible sight. Could have easily been put in a less visible section of the bed. Pretty bed. Over priced. No follow up with us along the way or after it was delivered. Angry owner over a simple fix and zero communication along the way without us inquiring. Would not recommend this company. Money hungry, poor customer service. Give your business to a company that cares like Great Blue Heron or Adobe Interiors. read more

However, when we priced out the sectional we wanted (a Maxwell), the price tag was way too high. We started doing our research and landed upon CoCoCo. They make replica furniture to RH in their North Carolina factory and a fraction of the cost. We read many reviews about their excellent quality and decided to buy the Monroe sectional from them. From our design process with Anna at CoCoCo to the waiting time as promised (we read reviews that they don't give you updates once you place the order -- but I called them a month after we placed the order and Anna could tell me right away where we were in the process), to the courteous delivery men... we couldn't be more pleased! The sectional and leather chair I ordered are beautiful. My husband has claimed the chair but I can curl up in the corner of the sectional so we both win, I guess. The quality is great. We had to clean the sectional and I was able to wash the covers in the washing machine and you'd never guess. It takes a while to get your order though and they are not that good at letting you know what is happening. The shipping can also take quite a while. This can be frustrating, of course. If fact we have a RH outlet story just down the road from us where I purchased several pieces that were perfect but returned for some unknown reason at a 40% discount. Great buys and we are very happy. However, when we later tried to order a large couch, we needed a sectional and RH didn't have what we needed. After some searching I ran across Cococo home and ordered a Monroe Square corner sectional in the Cambridge dark Rum and and when it arrived 6 weeks after I order it....OMG! It's simply amazing! Not only was the style an exact match to RH but the construction was far more robust and the leather is absolutely amazing! Super thick, soft and the whole room smells like a baseball glove for about $4,000 LESS than the the one from RH. Absolutely the best furniture purchase ever. We are planning another order for a second smaller couch next month and we can wait to see how that comes out. By the way, for those of you complaining about getting weekly calls about the progress of your order, dude, you gotta get a hobby or something. This is a manufacture not a retail store. I purchased a large sectional from CoCoCo about 3 years ago. Went to check out a showroom in BK, NY. Couch seemed comfortable and gorgeous. With the help of my decorator, we ordered the sectional. The sectional arrived and Unfortunately didn't fit in the elevator which was conveyed to the store prior. They brought it in one full piece and literally sat outside on our block until we could find furniture experts to take it apart. Finally Arrived upstairs and couch was GORGEOUS. BUT Extremely uncomfortable and the cushions would sink. I called the company and they sent me new cushions. Unfortunately the new cushions they sent were not much better. Still very uncomfortable and sinks in the corners. As time went by, the tufted buttons would pop off or just pop up but not off. Now I have this issue in several places. The tufted buttons are no longer tufted! This was a very expensive sectional. The quality of the leather we chose, while gorgeous, was not durable and scratches very easily. Your nail could run across it by accident and you get a scratch. Just a very badly made couch. I truly regret purchasing from them. Tried so hard to love it but now I just want to get rid of this extremely expensive but bad quality couch :( read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We ordered our couch back in June. It was a custom order. Before they took our money, they were super helpful and friendly, but the minute they took our cash, they became rude and the was a complete lack of any customer service. The leather we ordered needed to be tanned in Italy and there was a large delay because of the tannery. We completely understand this was not their fault. However, they originally quoted us 4 to 6 weeks and after the 6 weeks were up, they made no attempt to call us to let us know what was going on. Week after week, they strung us along and the only time we heard anything about our order was when we called them. They promised the leather would be in their hands at a particular date, and it wasnt. Then after 3 months of hearing nothing, I called, understandably upset but still polite, and the lady on the phone, I think Danielle was her name, was incredibly rude. Steve said he would take care of the shipping because of the lack of service...guess what...he lied and now we have to pay shipping. I will NEVER order from them ever again and I will encourage everyone in the market for furniture to steer clear of comfortable couch company. read more

Ordered 5 pieces. Was a bit nervous because I couldn't try them on and going out on a limb ordering such substantial pieces online!! 2 Chesterfield couches with nail head trim, 2 English Arm Chairs and an ottoman. They were very helpful in supporting me through my selection process and addressing my comfort concerns. I have to say these are the most comfortable couches ever!! Pricewise, these people are very fair! Do some price comparison and see of yourself. The English Arm chairs DO need a lumbar support pillow however. The seats are long which is really nice to put your feet up in, but to sit up you might need the lumbar support. I told them about my concern and they promptly made me 2 lumbar support pillows (complementary!) and shipped them out to me right away. The ottoman was unfortunately packed by someone at the company that should not have had access to "packing". Only reason Im giving 4 stars is: They put a BOX right on top/middle of the ottoman and it was wrapped and stacked with other items. It traveled all the way from NC to Oregon so you can guess what it looked like when it was opened...Almost a year later I can still see the shadow of that box embossed on that spot. Overall, if/when I need more couches I will only order from these people. Their work is so wonderful and I love knowing I am supporting our own economy! read more

We tried after visiting them directly (we live out of state). I'll spare you a long complaint. They don't communicate well at all. Terrible. And for an online business they are making a huge mistake. They didn't follow directions that they approved and made the couches incorrectly. Then to correct the issue they didn't communicate what they were going to do and when. We even had to follow up with them to see if they made the changes they promised. They couldn't remember that they had thousands of dollars of our money and maybe they should be on top of their mistake and plans to rectify. Long story short- they made the changes but we didn't like them and we couldn't accept the order (they sent pictures) and requested a refund. So glad we punted on these guys. Maybe they make good furniture but from the other reviews you will see they don't communicate. And if they don't communicate when they have your money (lots of it) then can you trust them? Or trust the product will arrive correct? We couldn't. So sad. read more

So first All I waited 2 months to get my daughters bed. It came completely on numbered or labeled. So it was so hard to assemble. Then while assembling there was 2 huge pieces with damage. Well I notified them immediately. It took one month to respond to an email. They say due to Covid pandemic. Well I didn't realize you can also get Covid through emails. So then you can imagine the back and forth, I think their fastest response took 2 weeks. Not bad... the they offered my some paint for free!! Oh wow! So I paid $550 for a bed that didn't come labeled properly and damaged and they're going to give me free paint so I can paint it!!! Heck no. I said I wanted a discount my bed is damaged. They then offered me an $83 credit. Like I want to buy anything from them. So I said I don't want Fred I want the paint and that lame amount of $83 back on my card. So I got that $83 on my card but no paint. So I sent another email. " I didn't get my paint". They had the nerve to say I got the $83 so I don't get the paint!!!!! I made a special trip to NC so that I could see and sit in their furniture in person. I am SO glad I did. It was a fantastic buying experience. First of all, before I went, I had a great email exchange with Gina, who is a designer, and she sent me tons of samples fabrics. I thought I wanted a SOHO Chesterfield and some slope arm chairs. Well, they were in fact beautiful and comfortable. But after sitting in some of the other furniture they make, I ended up changing my plan entirely to a Monroe sofa and chairs and four Raleigh chairs. The Monroe sofa and chairs were just ridiculously comfortable, with clean timeless line. The Raleigh chairs are not only one of a kind in style, they have a really great sit. Gina and Jennifer were terrific in listening to me, assessing options with my floor plan, helping me weigh pros and cons and selecting sample leathers fabrics. Steve, the owner, also lent his expertise and advice. Where else do you get this kind of attention, for well made furniture that costs a lot less than the high end big box retailers? I ended up meeting with them three times over three days and came away with a perfect furniture plan. Will post again after the furniture arrives, but I could not be more pleased with the care and attention they put into the product they make and the customers they serve. Also, to these people posting ill-informed reviews about how this furniture is made in China etc., maybe you should take a trip to NC and see for yourself. I just received my second couch from this company and it is a beautiful as the first. The owner of this company could not have been more helpful in choosing the leather and in fact sent me so many swatches for the first sofa, that I was overjoyed. He was patient and helpful with every detail of my order and then when it was delivered, I told him I loved it so much I wanted another!!!! They made me an exact replica of the first and the miracle of the whole process was that I asked if he could please try to have it to me by Thanksgiving. Well, Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and I have two perfect soas flanking my fireplace, and I couldn't be happier. I love my new brompton leather sectional! It looks like restoration hardware at half the price. It's extremely comfortable, and could easily seat five people. It did take 3-4 weeks for delivery, and mine was a floor model already made. I ordered a Weddington chair from CocoCo. I was very excited to receive it, patiently waiting the three months it took for delivery. It was 42 inch version, of which there was no image on the website. I assumed that it would merely be smaller. Instead, the seat was vastly disproportional to the arms. Ridiculously so. Also, I opted for nail heads, which I expected to be in the standard position on the front of the arms. Instead, there were sparse and on the side where no one can see them. I was not informed of this in the ordering process. In addition, the leather looks cheap, nothing like the swatch, which was far more textured. The worse part is the communication with the company. I have tried to explain the issues to no avail. The company lists customer satisfaction and service as a priority but has been dismissive and/or entirely non-communicative. I am not someone who regularly complains about products I've purchased. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt. But the upshot of this is that I apparently have no recourse. I cannot use the chair as is, so we've wasted $2500. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more
