I shop here regularly and truly enjoy the experience. The Village Store is part of our quaint Main Street area not to be overlooked. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

The Winston chair is about 3 years old and matches them perfectly. When I ordered these, people thought I was crazy "Why would you want a green sofa?!!", but when anyone sees them, they will always compliment them. In fact, I had a police officer knock on my door one day to ask about a neighbor and as I was talking to him at the door, he noticed the sofa and said "Man, that green couch is cool!" Cracked me up. In any case, if you want an heirloom piece of furniture that will stand the test of time, you really should consider Cococo home. Are they pricey? Yes. Is the wait time uncertain? Yes. Terry helped me in person and via email over the course of a couple months to select every fixture needed, and patiently looked up items I found on the internet. Everything arrived in good order with only 1 very minor defect in an item found after install, and lightstyles came right out and replaced, very easy and gracious service. I recommend them to anyone doing a build or just replacing a few fixtures.
