I haven't reviewed a restaurant in a while, but Conquistador was so delicious that I feel obligated to spread the word. The food was incredible. The octopus appetizer was probably my favorite, with the turkey avocado wrap being one of the best I've ever had. Even the chicken noodle soup was fantastic. The ambiance is really fun, with an awesome rooftop deck. The deck was perfect for our son to run around/hang out on while we waited for lunch. We'll definitely be back! read more

Came here to try this experience the old fashion was very tiny as you could see in the picture and not the best flavor. The waitress didn't know any of the tequila options that my aunt was asking about very pricey for the amount of food that was given however, the quality was good a little too much cinnamon in the beef the fried plantains were good. Very nice people working here. Bread was good. We had the empanadas selection. I would only order the beef and chicken again. I got lost with the pizza one and the guava cheese was way sweet. Ordered a Cuban sandwich and from the pic you can see it's swimming in grease. It was not good. The papas braves had way too much red gravy on them. Taste was good but I was wiping off the red sauce. Don't let the outside fool you. It's in a small strip center, and hard to see from the road with overgrown trees. Food was excellent. Ropa Vieja tasted like it was made by a Cuban Abuela. The skirt steak had great flavor, was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Spanish rice had a good flavor to. I cleaned my plate. Don't come thinking Mexican restaurant. The waiter was also very attentive. We live an hour away, but will be back to try more things on the menu, and enjoy more of what Auburn has to offer. We go to Columbus, Georgia on occasion and can't wait to try their sister restaurant there. read more

Food was amazing!! Service was very disappointing. Waited for refills and to order for a long time. Waiter was definitely more concerned with other things than taking care of the table, brought wrong entree (offered free dessert), when we did get a refill it had no ice. For a while, I thought Irritable Bao or maybe The Hound had the best food in Auburn. I was wrong. This place blew me away. The food was unreal. Everything we ordered was delicious; it's almost like you could taste the love that went into it. The octopus was easily one of the best meals I've had in a long time--something that is usually never done right, not too rubbery, not undercooked, just right. What really made the experience stand out though, was the owner, Cesar. Super friendly guy, made sure everyone felt welcome, and genuinely cared about the food and his customers. That guy is incredibly sweet, and it felt good knowing my money was going to the right place. I'm definitely gonna go back :) and if you haven't been there yet, do yourself a favor and go. Where to start? A friend and I had to spend an extra night in Auburn and after grabbing some wine at Walmart before heading back to the hotel, she wanted a fun drink. Found this place. Walked in and sat at the bar. The owner, Cesar, made us some drinks and gave us lots of things to try. The fun only started there. He was amazing. He brought us a "board," and the food was absolutely delicious! The entire evening was absolutely so unexpected and better than we could have asked for. We have already decided we'll be back with our friends next time we're in Auburn. I only hope that you'll be able to meet Cesar and get the same treatment we did! 100%!!! 10/10! read more

This is my fifth time coming over from Columbus. They had advertised the football games on TV so I wanted to check it out. Sat right in front of the TV, ordered the beef empanadas and it was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Ordered the cheeseburger with steak fries as an entree and let me tell you about this burger. This was the most flavorful and juicy burger that I've ever had. The seasoning on the beef patty was insane and the burger itself was thick. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items. The food was the best I've ever had in my life. Got a board for four and the only reason we got it done is because everyone unbuttoned there was so much food to eat. The atmosphere was ok and everyone was nice enough. But the service was really disappointing. Granted it was a Friday night and granted the restaurant apparently is only 3 months old, but at every opportunity the service was extremely lacking. There was no hostess and although several service members walked by, no one greeted our party, nor any of the other parties gathered awkwardly at the door. The restaurant was busy but even as it started to thin out, the service members seemed more interested in socializing with each other than checking on their guests. The food was ok, it's cool to see a different menu, but when you feel like you got terrible service it ruins the whole experience. read more

Exceptional service. I came here a few months back with my girlfriend. We wanted to sit on the upstairs patio but with it being early in spring the upstairs patio was closed. However, we asked the owner if we could make it happen and he was more than happy to let us sit up there creating a special evening for our night out. We had to wave down the servers to order our drinks, after being seated in an empty restaurant (should have been the sign) for over 10 minutes. Then wave them again for refills. Found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The food was excellent. We started with the grilled octopus and I had the Choripan Sandwich and my girlfriend had the Sweet Steak sandwich. All three were excellent. Food is Spanish not Mexican/latin so well seasoned but not spicy(hot). Service was good. The owner/manager greeted us at our table and reviewed the menu. Server was prompt and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well put together. It appears they have live music in the evening? We were there for lunch so there was a very light crowd. It is located at the end of a strip mall type building. Would highly recommended. Prices were very reasonable. read more
