    Seafood and Spanish rice.

We love this place. The food is very different. The owner is great and the bartender is awesome.

    Ropa Vieja.

Don't let the outside fool you. It's in a small strip center, and hard to see from the road with overgrown trees. Food was excellent. Ropa Vieja tasted like it was made by a Cuban Abuela. The skirt steak had great flavor, was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Spanish rice had a good flavor to. I cleaned my plate. Don't come thinking Mexican restaurant. The waiter was also very attentive. We live an hour away, but will be back to try more things on the menu, and enjoy more of what Auburn has to offer. We go to Columbus, Georgia on occasion and can't wait to try their sister restaurant there.

Food was amazing!! Service was very disappointing. Waited for refills and to order for a long time. Waiter was definitely more concerned with other things than taking care of the table, brought wrong entree (offered free dessert), when we did get a refill it had no ice. But again food was beyond good. It was great.

For a while, I thought Irritable Bao or maybe The Hound had the best food in Auburn. I was wrong. This place blew me away. The food was unreal. Everything we ordered was delicious; it's almost like you could taste the love that went into it. The octopus was easily one of the best meals I've had in a long time--something that is usually never done right, not too rubbery, not undercooked, just right. What really made the experience stand out though, was the owner, Cesar. Super friendly guy, made sure everyone felt welcome, and genuinely cared about the food and his customers. That guy is incredibly sweet, and it felt good knowing my money was going to the right place. I'm definitely gonna go back :) and if you haven't been there yet, do yourself a favor and go. It's that good.

Where to start? A friend and I had to spend an extra night in Auburn and after grabbing some wine at Walmart before heading back to the hotel, she wanted a fun drink. Found this place. Walked in and sat at the bar. The owner, Cesar, made us some drinks and gave us lots of things to try. The fun only started there. He was amazing. He brought us a "board," and the food was absolutely delicious! The entire evening was absolutely so unexpected and better than we could have asked for. We have already decided we'll be back with our friends next time we're in Auburn. I only hope that you'll be able to meet Cesar and get the same treatment we did! 100%!!! 10/10!

This is my fifth time coming over from Columbus. They had advertised the football games on TV so I wanted to check it out. Sat right in front of the TV, ordered the beef empanadas and it was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Ordered the cheeseburger with steak fries as an entree and let me tell you about this burger. This was the most flavorful and juicy burger that I've ever had. The seasoning on the beef patty was insane and the burger itself was thick. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items. Awesome service. The waitress was well versed on the menu items and provided recommendations. Conquistador is a nice little gem in Auburn. You will do well to give them a try.

The food was phenomenal. Took my date here for a romantic dinner and the mood was perfect. Definitely one of the best restaurants in town. Also the bread and butter had a funny lil face.

    The chosen one! Personal board

This is a special place when visiting the Auburn area. Off the beaten path, and as it should be. Ambience is perfect for a travelers rest as well as an intimate dinner party! A come one come all type of venue. Food was great! I came hungry and let them pick my meal... I never do that! The place is ran with enthusiasm and laced with culture!

Octopus tentacles. I was hesitant at first but these were absolutely delicious!!

Visited for the first time and food was absolutely AMAZING! Service was fantastic, ambiance was great and the team took time to explain the menu items and made great recommendations. Will definitely be back!

This has become one of our favorite places in town. Conquistador is a one of a kind place. Typically Spanish with some Latin fusion influences. The owner is clearly passionate about what they are putting in the plate. Don't miss this gem.

It is definitely on my Alabama "must-visit" list. I am from out of town, but I came looking for a workspace and wanted to grab lunch while I was there. I came around 1 PM and there was a 30 minute wait for 2 for lunch, but have no fear. We just went upstairs to the martini bar and were able to wait and work. We were seated in the garden for lunch, which are mostly cute high tops. Before we even began our meal, a fat adorable white rabbit crossed our path. Then an equally beautiful black rabbit crossed our path. I had no idea there was wildlife just prancing around and I was giddier than a little kid. (There are also ducks and geese who run around!). Now to the food: Had to get the smash burger because it was award winning and boy it did not disappoint! The depth of flavor and the juiciness of the patties were impeccable. I opted for guda cheese instead of cheddar, and I added grilled onions, and this was an excellent choice. The fries are super crispy and the comeback sauce is perfect for dipping . Don't judge us, but we also shared some desserts. The standout was the white chocolate cheesecake, which was sweet but not super indulgent. I would definitely skip the crepe next time. The description made it sound delicious. But overall, it was lacking in a flavor. It was by far the most disappointing dish of the day. Even though it takes a while for food to come out service is impeccable, and the servers are just so lovely, so be patient. I will definitely make the Botanic my go-to establishment when I'm in town!

Dining is an experience and my hobby my husband says. We indulge most nights in many great restaurants all around us or when we frequently travel. I want to start by saying my friend chose this space well! Though it was about a 40 minute drive from their house it was worth it. The venue, grounds, market, dining areas, etc. are all truly a delight. I cannot believe a place like this exists in this area. We started with adult beverages and the amazing complimentary bread with an assortment of butter options. For appetizers, we ordered the pimento cheese and corn ribs (forgot to photograph). Both were delicious! For entrees, the ladies had the pasta dish with my friend adding the shrimp. I am a vegetarian so I did it without any protein. It was very good. The men had the filets with the sides and found them to be cooked properly. The pros were as follows: Beautiful venue/spaces Delicious food The market had some nice shopping gifts to pick up for souvenirs and pastries for breakfast the next morning The cons: We were supposed to be at an inside table and they said that was not the case once we arrived and it was way too hot outside and the flies were terrible. I felt as if they should have accommodated us as we still waited 30 minutes to be seated despite her making reservations weeks ago. That really put a damper on the experience. Their corkage fee to bring your own wine is $40 per bottle. I take my own wine to every restaurant I go to and have never paid $40 even at much higher end places. The waitress was nice but loud and forgetful. We asked for things multiple times and never did get some of the requested things. They do offer lunch and dinner and the menus are a bit different. They focus on fresh produce from local farmers and some they grow there. If you are within a 30 minute drive, I would suggest going as there is not much in that area that compares according to our friends. There are multiple dining spaces so make sure you choose where you want to dine and confirm that. There are multiple bar options as well.

Let me start by saying the building is beautiful and the atmosphere feels like a nice restaurant. Also, the cocktail menu was definitely curated by someone who knows what they are doing. The appetizer Barrotta cheese was the best part of the evening. With that being said, the entrees were lackluster and small. Our food came out lukewarm at best and honestly seemed like not a lot of thought went into them. I know that this restaurant is supposed to be upscale, but I don't think I should pay 55$ per persons meal and still leave hungry. Also, the staff needs training. The whole time it felt like they were concerned with fast turn over and nothing else. Part of upscale dining is that the price of food and quality of service is more important than turn over time. I don't think we talked much when we had our wagyu steak main course cause it was so good, we couldn't say a word to each other. The pepper sauce with the perfectly cooked medium rare steak (which came cut in two pieces, which is a really genius move to serve steak by the way), with white asparagus, caramelized onion, rose petals, and just pure deliciousness. Literally chef's kiss. We also couldn't make up our mind about desserts cause they had a Valentine's dessert menu and the couple sitting next to us also recommended the cookies and milk.
