They don't call them Conn's for nothing! We purchased a chaise lounge and a sofa from Conns in November. The furniture was delivered in pure quality and very poorly put together. On the chaise lounge you could see all the staples down each side of it. I advised the delivery guys of the problem, and they took it back to the truck. After they unpacked the sofa, I noticed it was of poor assembly as well. I spoke to supervisor and he advised that when they bring the replacement chaise back, they could get sofa replaced as well! He would work that out with conns! I have been talking to Conns manager Derrick and Jose at the delivery company. Now they said they can't take it back and the finance company American first Finance said they won't take it back, but continue to bill me for both items. I absolutely refuse to pay for something that does not meet my expectations!! No one is taking ownership of this issue, and I won't pay form danaged goods!! At this point, I don't want the couch at all. I can get somewhere else! I surely am not going to pay 420.21 a month for poor quality furniture! read more

Just went here to purchase my dream fridge and was ignored for an hour by who appeared to be the manager. He opted to assist another sales associate even after telling me he would be right with me. Sent a new associate to "buy time" and while she tried her best, it wasn't helpful. I even left my number for a follow up and still haven't been contacted. Guess this store doesn't respect female shoppers. I needed no financing as I deal in cash only, all I needed was a few questions answered and couldn't even get that or the decency of a follow up. LADIES BEWARE. What a shame. I'm hurt and disappointed but hopefully this review will save other women from this same experience as I can't think of another reason why I was ignored and mistreated. What a complete waste of time. I made the mistake of providing my information to Conn's when I stopped into one of their stores about 6 months ago to look at an overpriced stove. Fast forward to now and I've received well over 100 emails and a dozen post cards stating I'm pre-approved for financing and they have great deals available if you finance your purchase. My kids need new bedroom furniture so I decided to proceed with their financing application and see about purchasing the furniture from Conn's. After everything was submitted I receive a phone call saying I'm approved with $99 down, and a $150 delivery fee. Haha. Really? What's the point? I can buy the bunk bed set we want from practically anywhere for close to that price and avoid their finance charges and inflated interest fees. Amazing as always! Just bought a new couch to add to my tv and washer/dryer set. The monthly payments are amazing. The products and warranty is 100% worth it. My son threw a toy at the tv causing a slide crack. I put in a support ticket, literally the next day I was in the store returning the tv in exchange for store credit (at original price) and ended up getting an even better BIGGER tv due to their current deals. My mom and I had another great experience at Conn's. We went in last week looking for a new dryer. The sales associate, Faith, was extremely kind and helpful. We ended up leaving, thinking we could try to have the dryer repaired. We ultimately returned the following week to purchase a dryer, and Faith remembered us and helped us again select a great dryer. This has been the worst experience ever of misguided information. My wife and I went to look and upon seeing things that we liked we proceeded to initiate the process the process of credit and purchase. That's when everything went to heck, we were told extra information and extra added cost would be placed within our order. Then we were left sitting there 3 or more hours as they tried to save the sale instead of just doing what the customer wanted and cancel everything. If I could rate this place a 0 star I would!! We bought a refrigerator from "CONS" about 3 years ago, it went out within the first year, and just went out again in September!! When they came and "fixed" it the last time it was on a Friday...it went out again on Sunday...so they had to come out again and fix it for the third time DESPITE the technician saying that the fridge was defected!!! I've never had a problem at this Conn's and I've gotten both furniture and a TV. The sales staff have on several occasions bent over backwards to help me . Basically, you get what you pay for. Just purchased an LG front loading washer. They delivered in a timely manner and the young men who delivered it were very careful and did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, after washing the first load, and the repeatedly each load after, something didn't sound right. Almost sounded like a locomotive whistle as the train is coming in! I called within the first 48 hours and expressed that I didn't want a repair on a brand new washer. If it wasn't something that needed a simple adjustment, I wanted a replacement. They sent a tech out within two days. Of course it didn't make the noise for him but he encouraged me to call if it did it again. I even showed him the video of it doing the problem, so he would know I wasn't crazy! As soon as he left, I put the washer on again and it repeated the problem. I immediately called Conn's and within the hour I received a response that a new machine was being sent out. That one was also delivered in a very well manner and it works like a charm. A man named DJ sold my husband and I a couch and TV. At time of both sales he advised they would be covered for any damage to them for the entire time we were paying so long as the damage was not caused by pets. Well, we've barely had the couch a year and what do you know. A spring busted on the inside of the couch, ripping it and all the stuffing is now on the floor of my apartment. Went to the store here, no help. They advised me to call the corporate office, so I did to which they advised me they would deny my request to either let me switch the couch or extend the warranty. Not only did they sell me a faulty piece of very expensive furniture, they don't care that they employ crooks!!! This company is despicable and I will be advising the better business bureau on this matter! I was also advised when I went into the Waco store yesterday that DJ has since been fired for telling more than just my husband and I similar stories about insurance and warranties on furniture and appliances so there are many more people out there who have been victimized by this company without any results I'm sure. Beware of buying any thing from Conns, they do live up to their name, con you they will. I was very disappointed with my purchase and how it was handled. I was delivered an LG dishwasher and it was damaged, concealed damage, someone had cut a lot of wires underneath the dishwasher. That was in Nov. 2015, I wanted a new dishwasher like I paid for but here it is in Mar 2016 and they will not deliver a new dishwasher and since I bought the extended warranty, they just call if you have more problems. I contacted Conns during week of Nov. 24, 2015 same week as Thanksgiving. They are selling sub-par appliances and will not make good on their promise. Went to Conn's to buy some appliances. While doing all the paperwork I was asked if I would like for them to install the dishwasher. I agreed. They said for $120 they would remove the old one and install the new one. Well their definition of installation and mine are totally different. Long story short, all they will do is plug it in IF there is a plug. If it has to be wired in they will not touch it nor the plumbing side of it. They do not tell you this until after they arrive for delivery. $120 to plug a wall socket in. WOW!!!!!! read more

This time we bought a 75 inch TV, had it delivered to our house and my installer came out today's to put it up. Opened the box and its all broken up, bent frame and all. Called to report it and have gotten the runaround from 3 departments. Have a "claim" ticket started but no satisfaction, n o plan, and a broken 4000 dollar TV taking up floor space. I was assured that the overpayment would be credited to my account from which it was withdrawn. It wasn't. If I had a way to write a review with no stars I would. They have screwed everything up from the get go. From not having my appliances in stock that were supposed to be in stock...to delivering not only a week late but at the one time of day I told them I could not meet them...to not installing my microwave and then not getting my refund for installation to me. Now to top it off they are trying to contact me but not on my phone. They are calling my husbands phone that is not in the contract. I must also mention the female manager, Stella, is horrible. If you read the reviews Conn's, I am not the only customer that thinks she is very rude and disrespectful to your customers. She is not giving you a good first impression.
