    The first element you need to know about Conn's is that their business model is not at all about selling white and brown goods--it is about FINANCING those goods at outrageous interest rates. The second element you should know is that their goods selection is targeted straight at the lower-middle class. Very narrow selection of brands and models. Entering into the store creates a feeling of being thrown back in time to the 1950s when there were stores that sold: mattresses, furniture (ugly), refrigerators, washers, TVs. The salesguys are the metaphorical offspring of those oily guys from the 50s. + The store is clean and brightly lit. + The prices on items with manufacturer part numbers are standard retail. (Best Buy was $100 cheaper on the washer that I price checked.) - No way for you to check prices on mattresses and furniture though. - No Wi-Fi. There is no reason to shop here. Every big box store will beat them on selection and price in that category. Their after-the-sale customer service is notoriously horrible. My one and only visit. Sadly, the suckers/victims of Conn's do not read Yelp reviews.

What they do, do right is offer a good selection of reasonably priced furniture that serves it's purpose for the younger generation on a budget here in Denver. My daughter and her husband furnished their entire first home from here. For me I was seeking a new, but inexpensive couch. That's exactly what I got. Two pieces for under $1,500. If you have a high-end budget then Furniture Row is more your speed. All I can say is thank you Jake for taking care of the community for such a long time. PS. Let sales associates stand at the top of the stairs to await arriving guests. I wanted to be in and out and didn't appreciate that I had to seek one out. It took me a few minutes to find anyone working in the showroom. Overall, they take care of all individuals that might have a little thinner budget.

I picked them up from the back of the warehouse and returned them right back to the same place. The restocking fee was 23.00. That is absolutley horrible to charge a customer that Kind of money. I did not have them delivered, nor was it a large item. I understand the restocking fee for something like that. This company completely ripped me off. I am a middle class working person that could use the $23.00 to get to an from work for a week. But instead, it goes to a company that wil do anything to rip people off. You should be ashamed of your self. I will never shop there and I am going to encourage everyone I know not to shop there either. I want the 23.00 returned back to my card. I left messages and tried to dispute this, but not even a phone call email or return of the restocking fee. $23.00 dollars for someone to simply put 2 chairs back on a shelf. This is horrible.

We are so excited! ... wrong. I get an email two days later telling me they've "checked my order" and that "all orders have been pushed back a month" so now we are looking mid-end of November. Common. Don't give us the run-around. Just be upfront with expectations. We don't even remember what the couch looks like at this point. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst customer service experiences I've had.

    I purchased a Nectar mattress from Denver city furniture in late March and was given a delivery…read morewindow of Thursday, April 2 through Sunday, April 5. As such I took Thursday, April 2 off from work to make sure that I was available to receive my order in person once I was notified of the actual day of delivery which they never did. That Thursday I contacted Denver City Furniture to find out the status of the delivery of the mattress to my new location where I was moving. They contacted the shipper, presumably FedEx and they were notified that the mattress had been dropped off on Wednesday, April 1. This means that I took a day of PTO for no reason and my mattress was sitting outside possibly available for porch pirates and I was none the wiser. In attempting to get compensated for the monetary equivalent to my loss of a PTO day, I was given a $100 credit to the store which basically covers one goddamn pillow. Despite my frequent pleas for compensation that at the very least matched the monetary equivalent to my lost day of personal time off, I was stonewalled. This is a slap in the face and the message being sent is that my time my frustration and their lack of ability to effectively communicate logistics is only worth less than half of a day pay for me that I am now out. Suffice to say Ashley furniture, and Denver city furniture will not be getting any additional business from me. To be fair, Mark, the sales guy was a peach. Unfortunately though they'll never get my business again and I will be reporting Ashley furniture to the Better Business Bureau because they suck balls. Of course I contacted Ashley corporate and they were zero help and told me I needed to contact city furniture for any help with this. So in predictable form, one entity is pointing fingers at another entity, saying they need to take care of it. Meaning it's a vortex of lousy service.

He has closed his doors and will not return phone calls or emails. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! He HAS reopened under new business name (Fabit) and I have no doubt will continue his unethical and criminal practices.

Their quality is perfect, and the few times that we've had glitches- out of literally hundreds of commercial pieces- they've gone above and beyond to make sure that my clients are thrilled. There's no other design/build workshop that can do what they do.
