We got a sandwich and a refresher each - I got the yolks on you sandwich and it was spectacular, the bagel it was on was delicious. It's a quiet prohibition era time look and there's lots of leather, velvet and golden appliqués. I would definitely come back here.

The cafe seems far more invested in cultivating an aesthetic than delivering quality food or…read morehospitality. Service feels slow and strangely disengaged, as though customers are interrupting the ambiance simply by ordering. What should feel warm and welcoming instead comes across as performative and inattentive. The food is especially disappointing considering the prices. The sandwiches are remarkably small and underfilled, leaving you wondering whether you accidentally ordered a half portion. The salads are even worse, which is essentially a pile of arugula. For a downtown business surrounded by residents and neighboring businesses, the lack of inclusion for the community and the repeated disregard for basic city noise expectations is difficult to ignore. Ultimately, Flint has several coffee shops that provide better food, better service, and a far more genuine sense of love for the community here.

I don't even like mushrooms and are a whole bowl of their mushroom barley. The only one that I'm not a huge fan of is their tomato Florentine. Buffalo chicken soup is so good and has a blue cheese flavor to it. Potato leek is amazing. All SO GOOD! For a sandwich I always get the cranberry turkey. Good portion sizes (not huge as it's just a little lunch spot, but I never leave hungry)! Always had a great experience with staff, too.

Sandwiches are good sized and the soups are very generous proportion where a cup should be enough for most folks. For our first meal here we had a Chicken Wrap, Turkey Brie, Beef Steak Chile, and house made potato chips. All the food was quite tasty and I would definately recommend getting the house made potato chips if you go the sandwich route as they were especially good. Relative to staff and facility, they were very friendly and welcoming where the restaurant itself offered a small town comfortable setting to enjoy your meal in. Also to note, there is nice outside dining option if the weather is nice. Overall good food at a reasonable price is enough to ensure I will be back at this business. If you are in downtown Holly and looking for a lunch spot you really cant go go wrong with this business in my opinion.

Galley-like set up as you walk in. Breakfast diner vibes more than 'cafe and bakery'. Kitchen to your left as you walk down short corridor into cafe. Sloth-like chill attitude encouraged; the hashtag is #letshangtogether. Had fun looking at all the little sloth decor throughout. Lots of light and glass. VERY limited seating; seats about 15 (?) inside; mostly 2 tops and a 6 top. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly, permitted to sit where ever we would like, then handed menus. Turkish music playing was just a bit too loud. Hospitality. Friendly and helpful. Owner-chef seemed very happy to be there, singing and engaging with his regulars. Offerings. Basic breakfast and lunch items with Turkish and Mediterranean classics. No flavored lattes but other basic espresso drinks offered. Chai was excellent. Had the Turkish coffee because it was a Turkish joint; was REALLY good; strong. We had the Simit Platter; sesame-like NY bagel, feta chunks, and olives. All very good. See pics. Apparently they offer cooking classes, catering, and meal prep pick-up -- for ever-changing healthier, fresh, easy-prep take-out options. Of Note and Last Impressions. Lot parking. Overall, fun.

It was tasty and even better with the bread they provided. It could've been packaged in a better way because the oil dripped out everywhere by the time we got it home. Maybe a plastic container with a tight fitting lid. The mezze platter was also quite nice, especially the carrot appetizer. The bulgur patties were also flavorful. The artichoke was slightly disappointing because it didn't have any other flavor than salt and vinegar, similar to canned/bottled artichokes. The salad was fresh and the dressing was light. Overall, this was a light and tasty lunch.
