Nice little cafe in Downtown Holly. Menu is centered around, sandwiches, homemade soups and salads for the most part with a fairly diverse selection to choose from that will cover most palletes. Sandwiches are good sized and the soups are very generous proportion where a cup should be enough for most folks. For our first meal here we had a Chicken Wrap, Turkey Brie, Beef Steak Chile, and house made potato chips. All the food was quite tasty and I would definately recommend getting the house made potato chips if you go the sandwich route as they were especially good. Relative to staff and facility, they were very friendly and welcoming where the restaurant itself offered a small town comfortable setting to enjoy your meal in. Also to note, there is nice outside dining option if the weather is nice. Overall good food at a reasonable price is enough to ensure I will be back at this business. If you are in downtown Holly and looking for a lunch spot you really cant go go wrong with this business in my opinion. read more

After my 5th time visiting, I can say every sandwich I've tried has been a hit. This time coming alone you notice how warm and welcoming the atmosphere and the staff are. This is becoming one of my favorite places to eat in Holly. read more

Such a charming place!!! The food was so good: a vegetarian wrap, some homemade chips and delicious chocolate chip cookies. My husband just loved the food and can't wait to come again. Our waitress was really a fun person with a great personality. I saw her interacting with so many tables and bringing smiles to everyone she spoke to. read more

My husband and I stopped here for a quick lunch while we were in between meetings at our wedding venue. The service was a little slow given there weren't many customers and the waitress did get my special request to my order wrong... But overall the food was tasty! I got the turkey cranberry sandwich which was small but I thoroughly enjoyed and my husband got the club. The bread on the club was delicious! A little heavy so if your hungry or I would say it's a good pick. We would probably grab a sandwich here again if we were in a hurry. read more

I have been to the Holly Cafe 3 times now and have been so impressed each time. Their soups and sandwiches are very well balanced and fresh! Have you ever gone into a restaurant and gotten the impression that a waitress hated you for no apparent reason? That was our experience today and I literally have no idea why. We waited patiently (20 minutes) for a group to leave so that we could be seated. And as she wiped the table in front of us, she said she was giving it to another family (who came in after us). Okay, that was weird. We waited another 5 minutes awkwardly standing in the middle of the restaurant, and then got another table. There were 5 of us and only 4 chairs. When I asked if we could get another chair an employee with dyed red hair said, and I quote, "Well I don't have a stockpile of them lying around." I gently pointed out an unused chair at another table, to which she acknowledged it and then walked away in the other direction. I stood and waited as the 4 others sat. Our waitress (a different lady) got one for me a minute later. I won't point out every detail of the absolute rudeness that we experienced, but I will say it was unpleasant and honestly quite shocking. I will add that the food, however, was delicious. This is an adorable place for lunch and I'll definitely be back. I had the potato, Swiss, and bacon soup with a half turkey and Brie sandwich. Oh my goodness was it delicious. 1st time I was here we got the Cuban and a chicken avocado sandwich. Both were really tasty. 2nd time my husband went for the Cuban again but I tried the ultimate grilled cheese with avocado, bacon, tomato and cheese and it was really good as well but I had sandwich envy of my husband's Cuban. The patio was the perfect spot to spend a summer evening. The overstuffed pulled pork tacos with pineapple salsa was soo good! It was a refreshing take and very flavorful. Mushroom risotto was on special and we were expecting a basic risotto. It was seasoned very well and great consistency. Honestly, the best risotto I've ever had. My friend ordered the pastrami reuben and I chose the cranberry turkey. We both ordered the mushroom soup. The food was wonderful. The mushroom soup was really flavorful. My turkey sandwich was delicious, turkey was real not lunch meat. The cream cheese spread and cranberry combined to make a Not your run of the mill sandwich. Ordered raspberry white chocolate scone. I have purchased bread here twice. Nice, fresh, whole wheat or malted barley sliced bread. I am confused as to whether it is Holly Café or Davisburg Bread Company. I ate one lunch here. The chicken gumbo soup was not chicken gumbo, but a creamy chicken soup. I understand the bread is no longer made on site, but is Zingerman's bread out of Ann Arbor. I have not purchased bread here since they stopped baking it on site. read more
