Their tacos still hit the spot! Tonight, Condado managed to convert my "Chipotle Rice Bowl" loving friend into a Condado "Build Your Own Rice Bowl" lover. I had my normal taco -- Braised n Confused. And, experienced their seasonal Baja Taco which was delicious but, a bit too spicy for this wimpy foodie. The service was great! The updated wall-art or graffitied walls and trying the new menu items are always an amazing conversation starter especially for first time dates. They also opened another location in the Rossford/Perrysburg area.

I really do not understand the negative reviews. We come here often and have always had great service and food. I'm so over everyone saying "it's not authentic"... who cares!?!? The margaritas are delicious. The tacos and nachos are always fresh and delicious. Service is always friendly. They also have a dog friendly patio which is an enormous plus for us.

I've never heard of this place before but I was so excited to meet my girlfriends here! They have such a great menu and the margaritas aren't too bad either I had no idea that this was a chain, but I was very impressed. The guacamole was a must try!

I guess you could call Condado a Mexican restaurant if you want to, but it's more like a really large hipster taco truck with inside seating and no wheels. Did I hear someone say "Hipster vibe?" Yes, Condado has a hipster vibe. From the music to the decor to the waitstaff, this place, like an incessantly shrieking harpy, screams 'hipster!' Take that as you will; personally, I'm a'ight wit it. Candado is open, bright, colorful, noisy, and, when the garage doors are up, airy. It's a pretty fun place. The food is good. It's expensive, and I have some mixed feelings about it, but overall, it works out well. One reviewer felt that it's as though Condado "grabbed every left over from the fridge and threw it on a tortilla." Actually, yeah. Kinda, maybe. Some of the flavor combos did seem pretty random, and not particularly well thought out, IMHO. I'll admit right now: I wasn't adventurous with my ordering; I got the "pepperoni and cheese," so to speak. That is, I tried a traditional chorizo taco (3 bucks), and both types of steak tacos (5 bucks each). The chorizo was solid, but certainly nothing special. It was average sized, and it needed some zest. The steak tacos were both served double-decker style with a flour soft shell, and a hard corn shell...I liked this...I appreciated the increased structural integrity! Both steak tacos were good, and a little larger than expected. What would be nice (and maybe they have this already) if Condado offered some sauce (red, verde, mango habenero, whatever) to add on top...just in case you're the kind of person who like things extra picante. Next time (and there WILL indeed be a next time), I plan to be more ballsy in my choice of tacos. The beer selection is pretty average. I didn't try any of the margs, or mixed drinks, but their descriptions sounded pretty damned legit. Any place that uses Mezcal in a marg is my kind of place. I'll come back sometime when I'm not on the clock. The service was friendly, and the speed of service was great, but I know this place gets crowded and things slow down in the evening. For now, 4 stars.

    Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. same.

My favorite spot in Toledo for hipster stoner tacos. If you haven't tried Condado, what are you waiting for? It's AMAZING! You can build your own or choose from an amazing assortment of tacos already built for you! The margaritas are tasty and strong, the chips and salsa is on point! The staff is super friendly. There is even a rewards system- I usually get $5 off every visit!

With a menu riddled with references to marijuana, it all makes complete sense when your food arrives. Offering flavors and spices a little more intense than your traditional Mexican restaurant, with a surprising amount of heat and options to build your own tacos or salads, it's clear this food is made specifically for people with the munchies.

Save yourself the trouble - do not go here if you want good service or hot food. We are from Florida - here for dinner w family after being at hospital all day w dying uncle to come deal w shifty service here. We didn't get all our food and when some came out tacos were very cold. Waiter did not come back and ask us if we wanted refills on drinks. Tab was wrong we had to have them correct it - when we addressed cold tacos manager was pissed that we returned food. Manager Slammed the food on tray as she walked away from us. Very unprofessional we obviously didn't ask for any more food we told them to cancel our order - and we left only having a vodka and some food for my other family member. Someone from food administration should come spot check this place out. They should have comped the little we did get for the manioc inconvenience and service we received. NEVER will we te commend anyone to come to this place.

Totally recommend this place! I came on a Saturday night with some friends. The wait was about 1.5hrs. We took a trip to Target next door and just chatted for a bit. It was expected with the weekend nights. No biggie! Tacos were HUGE! I tried 4 different ones and they were all so delicious! We also ordered flights of margaritas! Drinks weren't strong, but I didn't mind it :) The restaurant was so upbeat and fun! I love the loud music and artwork on the walls. Reminds me of restaurants back in California. I would recommend this place to everyone I know visiting the Toledo area!

She asked what I wanted and I had not a clue- she offered to help me decide! "Tell me what you're in the mood for and I can help!" Love workers like this!!! They know their menu better than us so I always let them tell me what to get! I got one of their combos: 2 traditional tacos with onion and cilantro, with rice and beans for $10! The next night, I got the same combo, add a birria ramen and the MEAT!!!! The meat it came with was SO SO SO GOOD and tender! It all fell apart once my fork hit it, it was cooked to perfection! Wish I got a picture of it. The birria ramen was a cup of noodles with some birria meat added, and it was $3.99 for the small! If you like affordable, authentic Mexican food, make sure you stop here!!! They have the friendliest service and best tasting food.

3.5-ish For starters, the name of this restaurant (according…read moreto its own sign) is Taqueria Carnales, not Carnales Taqueria (as listed on Yelp). Anyway, this is a place for people who enjoy highly flavored and spicy food. Seriously, ask them to go easy on the jalapenos if you aren't up for spicy. I ordered everything as is for my first visit for takeout and enjoyed it but it was on the edge of too spicy for me, (chicken grande burrito) without actually crossing the line.Very much crossed the line with the shrimp tacos, imo. I ordered the following: Menudo Soup (made from cow's stomach); Shrimp Tacos and a Chicken Burrito Grande. The estimated prep time was 15 minutes and the food was ready on time. It's a cute, small restaurant that is very clean. While you could choose to dine in, I didn't see anyone eating there and it appears that most of their business is carryout. Upon arriving home, I found that the Menudo Soup had spilled inside the plastic bag. Not too big a deal. The other entrees were packed in styrofoam containers. The burrito was wrapped in paper and foil. My mom had the Menudo Soup and said it was good. She had one of the three shrimp tacos and said it was okay but that she wouldn't crave them. The avocado slices looked very fresh. My mom loves spicy food but she commented that the soup and tacos were very spicy. As for my chicken burrito, it was unexpectedly spicy in a mostly good way. The burrito was stuffed with everything inside - guacamole, rice, chicken, refried beans (very little), cheese and jalapeno peppers. It was a delicious combo but I would have preferred the individual ingredients to be separate. The biggest problem, however, was that the foil wrap made it difficult to cut into the burrito without also cutting into the foil. I think it's more of a "me" issue that might not bother anyone else. Overall, I would order from this restaurant again. The quality is definitely way above Taco Bell, but it's not quite fast food even though it's next to a Subway. Also, I asked if their refried beans were made with lard and I was assured they were vegetarian. If I hadn't seen so many positive reviews on Yelp, I wouldn't have known to check out this spot, but would encourage you to try it too for high quality, authentic Mexican cuisine! EDIT/UPDATE: I tried one of the shrimp tacos that my mom left in the fridge. OMG, it was super spicy to the point of giving me hiccups. Plus, the spiciness seemed to come from a creamy cheese sauce added to the shrimp tacos after they were cooked. I can understand why my mom wouldn't crave them and I would never order them myself. Based on your personal preference for spiciness, let this give you an idea of the level of spiciness that could be added to your food unless you request your dish to be less spicy. Recommend with caveat re spiciness.
