This was not a simple flooring job. The parquet required precise layout, exacting alignment, and a deep understanding of wood behavior, finishing, and sequencing. The JDW team approached the project with patience, skill, and pride in their work -- and it shows in every inch of the finished floor. One thing that really stood out: I supplied the parquet flooring, the sealer, and the polyurethane myself. Many flooring companies would have insisted on supplying everything in order to add markup or to control quantities. JDW Flooring did neither. They were completely comfortable working with owner-supplied materials, advised me honestly along the way, and treated the materials as if they were their own. That level of professionalism and integrity is rare. The crew was: Meticulous in their prep and installation Careful, clean, and respectful of our home Consistent and communicative throughout the process Clearly experienced with high-end and specialty flooring The before-and-after transformation is dramatic -- what was once an ordinary room is now something truly special and elegant. The parquet lies perfectly flat, the pattern is beautifully aligned, and the finish is flawless. If you're looking for a flooring company that values craftsmanship over shortcuts, is comfortable with custom or high-end work, and treats clients with honesty and respect, I cannot recommend JDW Flooring highly enough. The job was gutting…read moreand renovating the entire main level of our 1965 split level which hadn't been touched since the house was built. R&R moved a wall, took out an unused fireplace, filled in a window, installed all the new appliances, handled all the finish carpentry, painting, tile entry way and tile back splash and the quartz countertops and new island with quartz top. The original hardwood in the living room/dining room was in good enough shape to save but the kitchen which had been vinyl and the family room hardwood was all replaced. You literally can't tell where the old wood was laced into the new wood floor. And, when the owner wasn't satisfied with how the floors looked he had his crew sand it all down and do it over! We also purchased our cabinets through them and it saved us a lot of money. Most importantly to me is that we never had any issues with any of the work crew as they were in our home from the beginning of March to early June. And they worked every day unless we were waiting on something that had been ordered, but they always alerted me to that, and they came on time. We didn't even mind that they worked a few weekends. I never had to track them down and ask if they were planning to work that day or not. They did an incredible job in a short amount of time. I couldn't be more pleased with how our house looks now. If I have other things to renovate in my home I will always call on them.

I had a fairly new driveway (less than 2 years old) that after one winter was already starting to…read morespall. After reaching out to the contractor requesting him to do something was a dead-end, I started researching what could be done to prevent further deterioration. In my search online, I came across Hello Garage. I reached out to them and they quickly scheduled a free consult. The representative looked at my driveway and listened to what I hoped to accomplish and said that their process would apply a sealant that would protect the driveway for years. He referred me to their website with several outdoor before and after pictures. After seeing these photos and reading several glowing reviews online, I decided it would be worth the investment. What I was not told was that Hello Garage would actually send out ANOTHER company to do the work. This company, called Thradher Foundation was NIT who I hired to do this project. I PAID Hello Garage $5000, I never would have contracted with Thrasher because they did not have the good reviews or before/after pics I had reviewed. The entire process with Hello Garage was a total scam- a complete "bait and switch" and a complete disaster and waste of my time and money. There was so much miscommunication and confusion in the process. I have a complete, lengthy record of text messages and scheduling mishaps plus pictures and videos of the end result. MY "Before and After" pics are like an ad of what NOT to do- they which are horrible. All of this was done last summer. The reason I am just now posting this review is because after going through the most recent heavy snow, my driveway is continuing to spall and the crumbling and deterioration is much worse than it was before I contracted Hello Garage to do their treatment. I am so angry over this. I am a teacher and do not have money to just throw away. I did reach out to Hello Garage right after they were "done" and sent pics. Copies of my text messages between myself and the numerous people I had to communicate with through this entire mess. and they sent someone out again from Thrasher to address my concerns. Although that final treatment did not at all, give me the result that I was led to believe I could have, I was resigned to just accept that I had made a bad decision. However after seeing how my driveway is completely crumbling and deteriorating now after going through this past winter, I cannot believe it would've been worse if I would've just left it alone! The pictures they referred me to online were NOTHING like the end result. If I could give them negative stars I would.
