This was not a simple flooring job. The parquet required precise layout, exacting alignment, and a deep understanding of wood behavior, finishing, and sequencing. The JDW team approached the project with patience, skill, and pride in their work -- and it shows in every inch of the finished floor. One thing that really stood out: I supplied the parquet flooring, the sealer, and the polyurethane myself. Many flooring companies would have insisted on supplying everything in order to add markup or to control quantities. JDW Flooring did neither. They were completely comfortable working with owner-supplied materials, advised me honestly along the way, and treated the materials as if they were their own. That level of professionalism and integrity is rare. Buying new carpet is one of those tasks you hate doing. First there are only about a million…read moredifferent styles, colors, and materials to choose from. Second it is an expensive purchase and you are always worried that you are getting ripped off. Finally, there is the issue of moving your entire home around so you can get the new carpet. After getting a couple bids elsewhere we ended up stopping at Payless at the recommendation of our contractor. The place is right off 119th and Blackbob, passed it hundreds of times, but never thought that it would be "the" place to get carpet. From the minute we entered the store I felt good about it. Justin helped us find something comparable to what we found at another store. Explained in detail and understandable terms the pros and cons of each option. We found a couple candidates and then moved on to step 2: Having someone come out to measure and price. A couple days later Jason the owner came by with a bunch of larger samples and he listened to what we were looking for. He made a few suggestions which we hadn't thought of and proceeded to measure while we looked at samples. When we were done he asked us a price range that we felt comfortable with and we hammered out a deal. I was even more happy when he said they could install in a week. A week later 5, yes 5 carpet guys from Fuzzy Side Up show up and began the install. They were very nice and got straight to business. Within 45 minutes they had the old carpet and pad up and were prepping the floor for new carpet. One guy was checking our first floor for squeaks and drilled about 100 screws into the subfloor to silence it for good. After about 6 hours all of the carpet on 2 floors was installed to perfection. Overall I couldn't be happier with the quality of the carpet, the service we received from both Payless and Fuzzy Side Up, and the price we paid. I've already recommened them to two other friends and will not hesitate to recommend them in the future. I've been doing carpet angels for hours now enjoying the soft, lush, beautiful carpet.

150 days, 3 coatings, and 4 grindings, Hello Garage FIRED, relived of contract for poor…read moreperformance. After 3 tries and the floor coating comes off under load of kick stand of motorcycle. Now Hello Garage tells me I can' put anything heavy on it with out putting plastic mats on floor. One manager inspected and said it was up to Hello Garage standards, then another manager came and said it needs to be removed and redone. Now that Hello Garage has been paid and had 3 tries they send letter of agreement that they will personality inspect after final grinding and before final coat applied and I cant' put any thing heavy on the floor without putting plastic mats down first. Hello Garage WILL NOT REFUND any money , they will only keep trying. On final day of final grinding no inspection from manager and no schedule for inspection as Hello Garage letter of agreement. They can't even abide by their own agreement. DO NOT PAY HELLO GARAGE UNTIL THE FLOOR IS CURED AND YOU ARE HAPPY, their business ethics are horrible, and only come back when fits their schedule. It has taken 150 days. DODGE A BULLIT AND SAY HELL NO TO HELLO GARAGE.
