Brian provided explanations on their services and what best solution along with videos to watch. Upon our Production date, the crew arrived was professional, exemplary work site management by Sebastian and the crew cleaned up well from digging and concrete removal. For second part of implementation for foundation injection the next day, Luis and crew was also professional, explained what they needed and even allowed the additional work we needed! We had an issue with our washer drain and they ( Brian, Luis and Damien) came back to investigate, assess and determined it wasn't a break from any digging. We appreciate everyone with KC Pier. The office ladies, crews and Brian are top notch! We are extremely happy with results from the piers installed that provided better leveling and stability. Only time and weather we endure will see how the seals and membrane applied works but we are confident things will hold up well as intended.

I was pleased with the experience and was given a lifetime warranty on the piers against further settling. Fast forward to September 2023 - not even a full year later - we have new cracks in our walls and significant bowing in our floors. These are obvious signs of settlement. I called the company and they won't send someone out for an entire month to come look at their failed product. This isn't even the scheduled job - this is just to come look and assess it!!! I assumed they would prioritize an issue that was under their warranty and I'm shocked at their complete lack of customer service. They had great customer service until their initial job was done. Sounds like once they get your money they don't care about failing piers. Also, the person answering the phone told me some settling is normal and totally discounted my concern. I understand some settling happens after the piers are initially installed, but enough settling a whole year later to create new cracks in our walls and bowing in our hardwood floors?! Then what is the point of pier installation and this warranty that says "should any of the piers experience settlement, KC Piers will make any and all necessary adjustments and replacements at no cost to the owner"? I am so disenchanted with this company. Don't buy into their lifetime warranty or their charming customer service at the get go. It sounds like they don't prioritize or care about their customers under warranty. Take your business elsewhere is my recommendation! Go find a different company that will actually prioritize their warranties and validate their customers absolutely valid concerns with their products. I will update this review after they finally come out to update if they resolve our concerns or not. I hope they choose to keep their word to fix their failed product.

Deeply Disappointed - A Cautionary Tale…read more If you're a new homeowner looking for reliable sewer work, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Our experience with Jonathan Jennings and his company was nothing short of a nightmare, and we feel compelled to share the details so others can avoid the same frustration. The project was initially estimated to take one week. In reality, it dragged on for nearly two months. From the very beginning, communication was abysmal. We were repeatedly told that our water would be turned back on by the end of the day--only to return home to a house with no running water. This happened multiple times, and each time we were left scrambling to make alternative arrangements. Jonathan's bid on the project was inaccurate. He assured us that the work could be completed without cutting into the driveway. That turned out to be false. Not only did the driveway have to be cut, but Jonathan also refused to complete the concrete repair in a reasonable timeframe. To make matters worse, he demanded full payment before the driveway was restored, claiming it was a "separate job"--even though the need for driveway work was a direct result of his own miscalculation. As the delays mounted, so did the excuses. Eventually, Jonathan began screening our calls and refusing to respond, even while our home was still without water. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any industry, but especially when dealing with something as essential as a home's water and sewer system. To top it all off, near the end of the project, we discovered that no permit had been filed with the county. We had to personally call and confirm this with the county office. Only after we confronted Jonathan did he finally submit the permit. When the inspector came out, the project failed inspection due to multiple errors--further delaying completion. There were other issues as well, but frankly, this review is already long enough. The bottom line is this: communication and honesty are the foundation of any reputable business, and this company demonstrated neither. What should have been a straightforward project turned into a stressful, drawn-out ordeal that left us without basic utilities for far too long. I would not recommend this company to anyone--especially not to new homeowners who are already juggling the challenges of settling into a new place. Save yourself the stress and hire someone who values transparency, accountability, and customer service.

It is true that you get what you pay for. While Full Service Chimney might not be the cheapest option, they do a fabulous job with great attention to detail in a timely manner. Thank you to Chris, Shayne, and the rest of the team for a job well done. Now, we just have to wait for the spring rains here in Kansas City to ensure that the repairs alleviated our issue of water coming in the chimney.

I am sharing my firsthand experience with this business to help other consumers…read more In late April, I hired them to inspect a water leak located where the mantle and tile meet near the fireplace doors. They diagnosed the issue and recommended replacing the chase cover. Based on their expert recommendation, we paid them $2,625 for the replacement. Unfortunately, during a heavy rainfall in early July, the exact same leak returned. We called the company back, and they sent out the same technician. During this second visit, he performed a water isolation test between the siding and shingles. This test successfully proved the leak was coming from that specific area, which I have documented in the attached photos. Looking at the documentation they provided me, a clear contradiction stands out: *First Report: Listed the flashing condition as "Fair" and recommended the $2,625 chase cover. *Second Report: Listed the exact same flashing as "Poor" and resulted in a new quote of $7,100 to fix the actual source of the leak. Because we paid thousands of dollars based on an initial inspection that failed to resolve the issue, I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Kansas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. I highly recommend potential customers carefully review my attached, redacted inspection reports and photos before hiring this company. I have attached pictures of the reports and quotes on google. UPDATE: OWNER of full service chimney co., Thank you for your response. I have reviewed call recordings, transcripts, and read your email. Let me be perfectly clear: attempting to deflect accountability by implying a communication disconnect between my husband and me does not alter the physical evidence, your own written reports, or the signed contract. You have explicitly confirmed our case in your own email. You stated: "Our repair technician noticed that once the chase cover was removed, he was able to see from the inside of the chimney that the flashing showed signs of allowing water in." If your repair crew saw active flashing leaks and visible wood rot while the chase cover was off, re-assembling the chimney, taking our $2,625.38, and leaving our home to suffer structural water damage for another two months is the absolute definition of a negligent repair. Furthermore, our signed contract explicitly mandated: "While the chase cover is off, we will inspect the areas we can see around the roofline and flashing for water entry." Your team completely failed that contractual obligation. If they performed a proper inspection as promised, work should have been halted the moment the old cover was removed and the rot was visible. Instead, your company chose to finish an ineffective repair, collect our money, and wait until July to present an outrageous $7,100.85 upsell to fix the actual issue. Pointing to boilerplate fine print about a "1% surface area" to excuse an aggregate failure to stop the leak we hired you to fix is completely unacceptable. We will not be bullied or manipulated into paying $7,100.85 for your company's failure to properly diagnose this in April. As requested in my previous email, provide the line-by-line itemized invoice for the April work and the itemized breakdown for the new quote immediately. We are currently acquiring competitive estimates from licensed roofing and siding professionals in Overland Park, and we have fully initiated our complaint documentation for the Kansas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division.
